(Except for the fact they're not open on Sunday's ) bread is such high quality and each panini I've gotten from here has always come out grilled and toasted to perfection. My faves are the steak and cheese panini and the chicken Parm. Both are so good! Paninis come in S/M/L sizes and employees do a great job stuffing them to ensure you're getting your money's worth. Hot Table is the real deal, and apparently they are growing in popularity. Enfield, Glastonbury, and Hadley. I had visited the Enfield location a few times, so I was familiar with the menu choices and some of the ins and outs of ordering. Basically, this is very similar to the Subway model- you pick a sandwich size, pick a sandwich bread (roll or ciabatta) add a protein -roast beef or turkey or ham or chicken or tuna, and add whatever mix of condiments and veggies appeals to you. At the end of the assembly line, your work of art gets the Panini Press treatment. I had a small Shaved Steak on ciabatta with horseradish mayo, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, and green peppers. It cost $6.29 and was a freaking work of art. Just delicious. I also added a small turkey gumbo soup for $3 and I was very surprised at how good it was. It was piping hot, super tasty, and chock full of rice and big hunks of juicy turkey. The servers were all sweet as can be, and I'm guessing there were a lot of UMass students there earning a few bucks. There was a bit of a back-up at the end of the line, it looked like the sandwiches were coming down the line faster than they were coming off the panini press, but the staff figured things out pretty quick and there was really no annoying delay. The Caprese Panini is pretty good! My only complaint is that the mozzarella cheese was a bit thick so it didn't melt as much as I wished it had. Overall though, there's plenty of options for everyone (even for the picky eaters -- you can order a Grilled Cheese Panini, which is actually pretty good considering it's panini-style). The employees are always super friendly here and there's a cozy little fireplace-style heater that helps keep the place warm in the colder months. read more

I am a fan of hot sandwiches and they have some of the best options around. I have tried chicken and steak. Love the roasted red peppers and sauteed mushrooms. Plenty of cheese options. I usually enjoy coming here especially with a food allergy as employees are usually very accommodating. However, I went in today and was unpleasantly greeted by a blonde worker with glasses who had a major attitude the entire time she made my sandwich. Then, when I asked her to wrap my sandwich in tin foil for a food allergy, she was extremely rude about it. She then proceeded to talk about me to the other employees loudly enough for me, a paying customer, to hear. She continued to keep talking about me through the window to the kitchen. Another customer complained to the cashier about her and after she knew the store heard her she went to the back, handing me off to someone else. I was eating in the restaurant when another customer with an allergy came in and she proceeded to be unnecessarily rude and had the same reaction to the allergy, then proceeded to again, frustratedly hide in the back. Me and the other customer were both extremely pleasant to her, our only fault having a food allergy we have no control over. Honestly, her attitude and reaction to both of the paying customers reflect poorly on the entire store. read more

Stingy with cheap ingredients. Large Caprese panini with chicken , $11.50. The girl took out ONE basil leaf and ripped it into pieces. I asked for a little more, she took out half a leaf and ripped it into pieces. This place is just another chain. The ingredients aren't as fresh as you would like to think... The sandwich itself was bland. The "fresh" (refrigerating tomatoes sucks all the flavor out) tomatoes and the balsamic/olive oil combo made the inside of the bread wicked soggy, and unappetizing. The only nice thing about the panini is how the nicely the sandwich crunched on the outside. For $11.50 you should go across the street and have your lunch at Whole Foods. read more

It's here! It's finally here!! I used to work in Springfield in close proximity to the Breckwood Blvd location and didn't realize how spoiled I was until I got a new job in Hadley. UNTIL-I saw them announce on their facebook they were opening a Hadley store. Let me just tell you I've been counting down the days. I am beyond ecstatic they opened today. I of course had to go in and get my favorite chicken pesto. Same fresh ingredients, same friendly staff. First day jitters were plentiful but didn't distract from the beauty and deliciousness that is the panini. I will make a note they have now added the medium size panini in addition to the small and large. Great idea. The small was never satisfying and the large made me want to take a giant nap. I loved hot table before I moved out of state in 2012. Happy to see the quality is still there! Opted to order online to avoid the line. Got a medium Caprese and added a cup of the pasta e fagioli soup. Both were perfect. Next time, I'll go with the small panini, the medium was a bit more than I needed. This place is delicious! I have been there for dinner two days in a row and am fighting the urge to have it for a third day! The paninis taste great, the staff is nice, and the restaurant is clean. The paninis are made fresh in front of you (as to the likes of Chipotle). There is a menu that you can order from or you can create your own. The ingredients look fresh and the staff piles your choosings onto your sandwich. You can choose one of two types of bread: Artisan or Ciabatta. Personally, I like the ciabatta because once toasted, it provides a nice crunchy texture to the sandwich; however, you get way more bang for your buck with the artisan bread. It's breadier, thicker, and holds way more stuff than the ciabatta (ex. they'll fit 3 slices of salami instead of 2 if you order a large). No matter which sandwich you get, they charge by the size: small, medium, or large. I like to get the large (which is a little pricier at almost $10) and I save half of the sandwich for a later meal. The large size is big enough that half will fill me up and I get 2 meals out of it. Although food is a bit pricier, you get what you pay for - good/fresh ingredients and a hearty/filling sandwich. So far, I've tried 4 different sandwiches. The Cuban is my favorite ... packed high with chicken, ham, swiss and garnished with some delicious, crispy pickles and mustard, this is the sandwich I'd recommend. All in all, a good place to at least try! Also, don't forget to get a panini/drink card - you get a free sandwich/drink after 10 purchases! read more

You get a lot of sandwich for your money. I shared my large with a friend tonight- I gave him a quarter of my sandwich, and it was a very decent-sized chunk. "Wait, this is 25% of what you got??" I'm a first timer here at Hot Table panini. As soon as we came in even though the lunch rush was going on we were greeted at the door. It's pretty nice inside, and kind of reminds me of Panera bread. Easy chairs, a faux fireplace, free Wi-Fi. I wonder if they're owned by the same company. My partner and I got the small Cuban panini sandwich and Turkey gumbo soup. And much like Subway's or Dangelo and some other restaurants, you get to add on various other fresh ingredients to your sandwich. The sandwiches which are built on your choice of bread are then placed into the penny grill and weight is put on top and they are pressed. And they come out piping hot and yummy! :) Our soup was D'Lish too! With plenty of carrots, turkey, and okra in it. But it was slightly on the salty side IMHO. Parking can get a little tight outside as the lot is shared by three other businesses. And there's not a lot of room to back up. This combined with the religious Latin phrase at the bottom of each menu caused me to take one star out of my rating. But I would definitely go back! read more

I loooove this place! The food is amazing, the staff is wicked nice, and the environment is clean and comfortable. After being greeted at the door, I ordered a large Black & Blue Steak panini. I was able to watch it being made all the way down the line with all of the fresh ingredients, right up to when it came off of the grill and into my hands. The sandwich was incredibly delicious and soooo filling, but I couldn't put it down! The manager stopped by the table and said hi to my friend and I as we were finishing our meal. Visited Hot Table for a quick small lunch during a basketball tournament. I ordered a small cheddar steak panini and a side cup of broccoli cheddar soup. I was happy I could easily add sautéed onions and mushrooms as well as other veggies to the sandwich without any problems whatsoever. The total cost of my meal was $10. The steak was a bit lacking in flavor and sadly, the cheese wasn't melted that much even though they put it in the panini grill. Overall, it was a pretty satisfying meal and although the service was a bit laggy, the workers were nice. I assumed the small sandwich size would not be enough for me but it was surprisingly filling along with the cup of soup. Hot Table is a good place for a quick, fresh meal... significantly better than any Subway I've been to. read more

My first experience at Hot Table was awesome! The staff was very friendly even for being so close to closing time, it was 8:50pm. Last night I wanted to eat there again, it was about 8:38 when I walked up to the door. The doors were locked! They had a couple people inside eating and ordering. The staff did not even look at us standing at the door. They had about 3 staff just standing behind the the counter doing nothing! This was quite frustrating since our first visit we walked in at about 8:50 and it seemed there was only 3 people working. The staff that night was very friendly and personable. Last night they had about 6 people "working" and closed 22 minutes early? The food there is great but needless to say Chipotle got our business instead and will probably continue to get our business. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE ORDER FORM BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST GOING TO MAKE YOUR SANDWICH HOW EVER THEY WANT, THEN ARGUE WITH YOU WHEN YOU REALIZE YOU NOT ONLY DIDN'T GET WHAT YOU ORDERED, BUT THAT THEY AREN'T GONNA DO SHIT TO RECIFY IT. Apparently the build your own panini, where you get to pick and chose what you do and do not want on your sandwich doesn't matter at all according to the manager who had to point out to me that Tuna has mayo in it....yes it does, but it isnt slathered all over my sandwich, oozing out of it. Apparently they'd rather argue with me rather than rectify the situation that they completely fucked up my order.
