It's all a matter of perspective. How can anyone like this? As a product line it is certainly inferior to subways. I would rather eat at Wendy's or McDonald's. I found bone bits in my shaved beef. Very friendly staff. My opinion is the food is just okay. I got the steak and cheddar panini. Steak was a little lacking on the flavor. Asked for chipotle mayo and they really slathered it on. Basically subway but for paninis and with much nicer ingredients. I've seen plenty of orders for the chicken but didn't like it when I tried it. They scoop a helping of chicken chunks on your sandwich that fall out easily and are a bit on the dry side to me. I think they'd be better off slicing the chicken. The steak is sort of crumbly but much tastier, and I like getting ones with cold cuts as well. Also tried a couple different soups and both occasions it was pretty watery and not a good addition to the meal. I'd stick to the paninis. Overall a nice option if you know what to avoid. read more

Came in on a Wednesday night around dinner time and the place was vacant. The ladies behind the counter we're welcoming and smiling but not super friendly. I ordered the Chicken Parm Panini and a cup of Chicken Noodle soup. The sandwich was prepared upon order and pressed. The flavor was good but nothing compared to a real chicken Parm sandwich as expected. The chicken was chopped breast meat and included 2 slices of cheese, marinara sauce and some shredded cheese. The bread was very tasty. The soup was your typical soup in a bag served from a warming pot. Just went to Hot Table for the first time, and it's my new go-to restaurant! I lived on salad bars, and now that those are unavailable, Hot Table is a God-send. They charged a flat $9.29 for a big base salad, and then they would put on as many other toppings as I wanted, no additional charge. I got a keto kale salad, which was just what I was wanted, and I hadn't dreamed there was such a thing available out there now. For toppings they had bacon, tuna salad, artichoke hearts, grilled mushrooms and onions, you name it, they had it! The salad ended up being really big. The only thing that was weird was, they have giant shaved slices of Parmesan cheese. Who wants to eat that much cheese that is that salty all in one mouthful? But overall, it was delicious. They give a generous sized cup of salad dressing and were happy to give a second one. It has a nice warm atmosphere. This place makes paninis primarily but has a few other options like soups and salads. Got the buffalo chicken, which was terrific. For you vegetarians they appear to have several good looking options. They have roasted vegetables that can be added to the sandwich they way you get raw onions or lettuce at a regular sandwich place. They are flavorful and a nice touch. Staff was exceptionally friendly. They are closed on Sundays. I liked the vibe, it was a little nicer than a typical chain quick bite place like a chipotle. Would absolutely come again. read more

Paninis are decent, I can't deny it. Are they $7 for a small good? No. I have been here a few times and have never had truly exceptional service. My experience here recently has solidified my opinions on this place. I order a small, $7, Italian cold cut panini. Said panini comes with salami, ham, lettuce, tomato, roasted red peppers, banana peppers, onions and mayo, and it wasn't bad. While the worker was throwing together (yes throwing, they handle no substance with care) my panini, she whispers "do you want everything on it?" I say, "no peppers please", as I'm not the biggest fan. She closes my panini with just lettuce in it. Weird. So I calmly ask her to please put banana peppers on it as well. She glares at me and raises her voice; "I JUST ASKED IF YOU WANTED EVERYTHING ON IT ANS YOU SAID NO PEPPERS". She was right, I said no peppers. Although this was my mistake, as I had forgotten that there were multiple different types of peppers, there was absolutely no reason for her to be so snappy towards me about it. I like the paninis when I'm looking for something quick, and I suppose the $7 you pay for the panini includes hostile treatment with it. read more

My wife and I were moving my daughter back into Umass last week and she suggested this as a different place to try. Its a place I might have driven past but after we went in and I saw the menu I was glad she steered us there, lots of sandwich options. We got two medium sandwiches and one small plus three drinks for $30 bucks. It was more than enough food and the sandwiches were great. I would definitely go back. The fixings were fresh, the bread was delicious and the person building my Panini was patient and professional when I asked for extra toppings. Browsing the reviews, I came across a comment about a Latin phrase on the menu resulting in his taking away a star. Tasty, fast, and clean are the top three words that come to mind. I had the small steak and cheese panini and it was amazing! The bread was still moist and the cheese melted perfectly. It took less than two minutes. My table was clean and so were the other important places such as the dish return. It's a terrific place to get a quick bite or to sit and read the paper. So I hd been going to Hot Table since the day Hadley location has opened .First of all they should put a small fruit bowl or fresh veggie choice for kids meals,gold fish is not great choice,but I understand they need to but cheap and sell high.Than came to find out that al the punches like 11 or 12 would give us a free panini,not the case.Food is not organic,and they put more artichokes and roasted red pepper so than save on meat.Deli meat is a low grade for the money you will be charged read more

We were going here once a week. Literally they are out of macaroni & cheese EVERY TIME we go. No joke. Every time. Can't get any. Ever. We go at 7pm. They said they always run out by 5pm. They can't heat up more once they're out, even though they have it. UGH!! We are a family of 10. We do not go there any more!
