Made my order thru the drive thru. They told me the order would be delayed and to pull to the mobile service waiting area. After a very unacceptable waiting period I exit the car and magically someone walks out with my order and an apology. That's the courtesy they should extend. The person offered me a cookie or a small frosty as a courtesy. I had to pass being diabetic but appreciated the offer. After leaving I found they shorted my order, gave me the wrong sauces and forgot my receipt. Great experience to go along with my room temperature fries. read more

Constructive review - don't close before you close. Passing by on a trip from CA to CO and it was the only place open later at night. We stopped by drive through about 2 hours before they are closing and say the food will take long (pretty sure have their fryers off) My husband says we will wait because we had not had anything to eat all day. My family and I love Wendy's. It's usually our go to when on the road. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst experiences we have had at a Wendy's. First, I was asked to wait while the cashier put out orders real quick. Not a problem. But when the second order wasn't ready for 4 mins, he still made me wait. Whatever, annoying but whatever. Got in the van and on the road again come to find that neither mine or my husbands burgers were correct, they missed our fry and only gave one of my kids a kids meal toy. This location of Wendy's came in handy once since I was staying at a hotel near by. I just walked and grabbed some dinner, their chicken strips were pretty good. The place was empty when I got there, no issues with customer service. Another time I went by to grab some late dinner and the place was closed and locked. Stopping in for a Cesar Side Salad and Baked Potato. I pay and wait 5 minutes and the manager comes out and says they do not have Baked Potatoes. Wendy's, the only fast food store in the nation that sells Baked Potatoes since their inception, does not have Baked Potatoes. Along with he salad, the Baked Potato are the only healthy things on the menu and they don't have it at 4 pm in the afternoon. So I ask for my money back and it takes almost 10 minutes to refund me. While traveling from Illinois to California my family stopped here for a late lunch. It's was around 2:30 not even lunch hour and the service was SO slow. We waited 20+ minutes for someone just to take our order. I waited outside with our dog and my 10 month old and was watching the drive through line while my husband went in and ordered. The person working the drive through was extremely rude to all the customers cutting them off mid sentence. I'm not sure if she was hard of hearing but she kept having people repeat their orders. Meanwhile the line is getting pretty backed up. In my opinion she probably shouldn't be working drive through. My husband eventually came out with the food. The taste of my coke was extremely off. I went inside, emptied, and refilled it. The taste was still off so I opted for water. While inside I noticed how dirty it was. There were flies everywhere. It made me nervous to eat my food but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I went outside to eat my food. My spicy chicken sandwich (I wish I took a picture) was hard. The chicken looked old. I refused to eat it and didn't allow my daughter to eat what we got her. My husband went in and got a refund on my sandwich. I tossed the food I bought my daughter. I went inside to wash my hands and to better grasp their customer service bc we had been there 30/40 minutes by now. There was a big crowd of people. Some were waiting on their food. Some were waiting to order. There was no sense of rush or urgency. I seen one employee hanging out near the bathrooms yet there's a crowd of people waiting to be served. It looked like they were have trouble completing one ladies order. I don't know why it takes two people to complete one ladies order. Another employee came over from the kitchen to look at the crowd and comment on me taking a picture/video. I believe she went back to the kitchen after. we stopped to get lunch for the crew working with us today. everything was great although they did miss three of our meals. It was a big order. I can't blame them. Everything was great. Otherwise we were traveling back through after the job was complete the same evening and we contacted the manager and asked him what happens when things like this take place and he right away his name is Corey, right away without hesitation was ready to take care of the order immediately, and with a smile, let me know to say my name when I got to the drive-through and that he would be on the headphones also and would know it was me and take care of it. I was surprised delighted my wife and I drove through. We picked up the missing meals. Everything went splitted the people working at the horizon. This place consistently has the longest wait time I have ever seen at any fast food joint. The drive thru takes literally 5 minutes per car. 5 cars in front of you? Be ready to wait 25 minutes just to get to the window. Then you wait 5 more minutes to have your food handed to you by an angry personality with a chip on their shoulder. Things get even worse if you go inside. The wait times are even worse if you go in. There is ZERO sense of urgency among any worker behind the counter. Just a bunch of people meandering about doing nothing. I wait, on average, 20-30 minutes every time I forget what a hole this place is and wind up there for lunch. The massive amount of flies and hot, disgusting dining area are not a welcome place to eat any meal. I live close by so on occasion I will still try the drive thru, but I can't tell you how many times I said "F this nonsense" and drove down the block to Taco Bell, waited in line, got my food, and drove back by Wendy's only to see the cars that were in front of me STILL IN LINE! And before you start nitpicking, it makes completely no difference when you show up. There will ALWAYS be a line because of how slow they are and you will always have to wait a long long long time for some angry twit to finally give you your cold fries with a side of garbage attitude. Stay away from this dumpsterfire of a business. Go to Freddy's down the road. Even if Wendy's offers free burgers, just save yourself the hassle and pay up elsewhere. Came here for a meal on our way out of town, and the service was absolutely horrendous. Took forever to get our order taken and there was one car in the entire drive through ahead of us. Finally got our order taken and got our food it had hair in a burger and there was no sauce or utensils, it ended up ruining our appetite and felt like we just wasted $23 on food. read more

Food is mediocre- it's Wendy's. What was extremely troubling to me was the manger (don't know his name but was a 40 year oldish guy with one tooth). He treated his workers poorly and was repeatedly yelling at then in front on customers. He even said to customers, "does anyone with common sense want a job here." Great, super-friendly staff, plus the delicious food that Wendy's is known for. The drive-through staff is especially energetic and personable (Britney took amazing care of us!); I was very glad to have patronized this location. We stopped in town overnight on the way to visit family, and were staying in a hotel down the road. There were multiple options along the highway exit--Burger King, Taco Bell and the like--but we decided on chicken sandwiches and could not have been more pleased with the result. This Wendy's location has consistently made errors, at least 3 in a row, when I have gone thru the drive-up window. I have called the manager to lodge my complaints, but it didn't seem to be a big deal. I have not been back there since, and all the Grand Junction locations need improvement. read more

This Wendy's was new, fresh and clean. What was unique was that they had two maps. One was a map of the United States and their Her was a world map. Everyone who visits is encouraged to place a pushpin where they are from. My kid thought that was pretty cool. My kids got their 4 for $4 deal which included a jr bacon cheeseburger, 4 piece chicken nuggets, small fries and a small soda. I got some delicious baconator fries that had nacho cheese and shredded cheddar cheese mixed with bacon atop the fries. The food was absolutely great. Quite Simply, the Best Wendy's I've ever been to! Fries: Crispy, Hot, On Fleek. The nuggets were Crispy. The Jr. Bacon Cheese, was Beautiful. All the Ingredients stacked and balanced, crispy Bacon, and just right amount of mayo was actually spread throughout the bun instead of just plopped in the middle. The Lettuce was actually cut to fit the bun instead of just an overgrown leaf making everything slide around. The Manager(?) Was able to give me some friendly local advice as well! This location is very lovely. The inside is soooooo nice and the staff is so friendly. They have a map on the wall with thumbtacks stuck where people are traveling from and I think that is so amazing! My only very small complaint would be that my drinks and frosty were forgotten and we had to ask for them. But that's absolutely not enough to ruin my experience here. They are unfriendly and incompetent and when I do call to tell them (twice in two weeks) they never offer to fix the problem in anyway.
