Went here today. The lobby was closed which I am sure due to shortage of staff which is common everywhere nowadays. I went through DT and ordered a double Dave meal and ordered the burger with specific ingredients. Got through the DT in about 1.5 minutes. Food was nice and hot, order was perfect. I think the food and service is generally good/very good.....the manager is very personable and does a great job at greetings ....I absolutely enjoy the friendly greeting that you get at the drive-up...it is so good that they have actually recorded it and you get a consistently upbeat welcome each time...the follow up voice (real person) is usually pretty decent as well. I enjoy the quick service especially with the dismal reception and 'tude at other drive through places nearby....can you say DD and McD? .....come on people the annoyances at the drive thrus.... called 'customers' are who REALLY pay your salary ....didn't they ever tell you that? Seldom a long line and is now my go to iced coffee place when I'm out....forget the long DD lines! read more

I waited 10 minutes in line with no one in front of me to get the worst service by the cashier... Once my order went through I had to wait another 10 minutes (with no one else in here still) and when my food came out their was mayonnaise on my burger which i asked for no mayo because i am allergic. I wasn't impressed. They filled my chili half way full and I had to ask to fill it the rest of the way. My friend got a bacon cheeseburger that was old. The boy at the counter tried to put my friends old burger onto another person's tray. The food area was dirty with the trash bin overflowing behind the counter. Smooshed food on the floor where you wait to pick up the food. No ketchup in the ketchup containers. They did put packets out atleast. Dining room was dirty. We waited 15 minutes to order with only 2 orders ahead of us. Waited another 15 minutes for our cold food to be given to us. It wasn't pleasant and the staff was not very friendly. The manger tried to satisfy us a little but he was chewing gum and eating/drinking over the food station. The girl who was making my kids nuggets and fryes was not wearing gloves. read more

Very crowded parking lot with many cars in the drive-up line. So I went in. The employee taking order was so full of tattoos that it appeared he might have come straight from a prison. And to take my order, he asked my name and telephone number! My telephone number! Absurd. So I walked out without ordering and went somewhere else to get lunch, without having to provide my telephone number. read more

If you've ever been to a Wendy's before you know exactly what you're getting. My suggestion for all of Wendy's, not just this location is to offer mayo on the side. Some people may want more diet friendly options, and by adding no mayo, you save a lot of calories. The layout of this location is a little awkward. It seems really cut up at first glance. Also some of the chairs are a bit wobbly. I do like the addition of TVs in the room, and the channels are fairly family friendly. The trivia questions are often enjoyable too when they're not on GSN (Game Show Network). read more

Wendy's on Lakeshore Road, Gilford, NH used to be good. I won't be going back. They are extremely rude and unwilling to serve. I was doing some last minute grocery shopping recently, checked online when they would be closing. 11 PM. It was 9:50 PM. I proceeded to the drive up. An angry voice came on the intercom barking, "We are closed. Come back when we're open." What?? I drove away upset. Another day I went to a different Wendy's in the Lakes Region and was 100% satisfied. They got the order correct. They smiled a lot even though it was an extremely hot day. They spoke kindly to me even though I used a coupon. In fact the man said if I filled out the survey I would receive anothercoupon. Then he said, "Have a good day!". Very helpful and pleasant. So I thought that the Gilford restaurant may have had a bad day. So I stopped again on a other day. A woman barked agitated into the intercom. When I asked for a Taco Salad she gruffly said, "We don have Taco Salads". I said, "Ever?" She said, now louder, "No. We don't have ANY salads!!!" Was I suppose to read her mind?? So she said,"Do you want anything?" again angrily. I said, "No tha k you" and left. It's too bad but from now on I will either go to Taco Bell or drive 25 minutes away if I want Wendy's. I like the food better at Wendy's but not interested in being treated so poorly. I don't usually get fast food but it was way too hot to cook this week. Never again unless they hire new employees. It seems these customers don't particularly want customers! Not recommended!!!! read more

I love Wendy's, I think they have superior burgers and their chicken nuggets will outrank McDonald's any day. However, this particular location has left me wanting every time. I have visited twice, the first time was around the beginning of February; I was in the process of moving and had just finished my 3,000 mile drive the day before. I was looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite and quickly realized businesses in Laconia/ Gilford don't stay open very late. I pulled up to the window about 20 minutes to 9, when they close. The girl who helped me was extremely rude and short. I didn't mind, I figured she was irritated because they were closing soon and she wanted to go home. When I got home with my food, I was extremely disappointed. My burger was barely put together and was falling apart inside the wrapper, the chicken nuggets tasted extremely stale and so did my fries. I scarfed it down for the sustenance but did not enjoy it. I wrote off the first experience as a bad set of circumstances, a group of tired employees just wanting to go home. So the second time I visited Wendy's was this evening, this time the person at the window was perfectly courteous and helpful. I was relieved and figured I was correct about the fluke from 2 months ago. When I got home the food was exactly the same. Extremely dry, almost inedible, chicken nuggets. Floppy, grainy french fries and this time a stale hamburger bun with lukewarm meat inside. However, the burger was pretty well put together. Overall, I believe that whoever runs this restaurant has decided to run it as if it were a normal restaurant in Boston, for example. They pump out the food so it is ready to serve but the problem is the amount of food they are preparing compared to the amount of customers visiting. I'm sure the constant flow of food works great during the tourist season here, and maybe the food will taste fresh then, but during the slow times they should just prepare to the food to order. I will give this restaurant one more chance during the summer and see if, with the increase in customers, the quality of food improves. P.S. If the bun is stale, don't serve it to your customers. You don't even have to throw it out, donate it to a shelter; at least that's a tax write off and your paying customers aren't eating subpar food. read more

It's a Wendy's there's not much to say but went in one day with the tmobile Tuesday deals which is a pre bought thing by T-Mobile and I was denied it then I called there corporate just to see if it was true and it wasn't and they told corporate they were doing it. And I'm also a diabetic I could of had a low blood sugar and that could of been a resort for sugar and they denied I've had very negative customer service before from that restaurant before. Message to management please do something about the customer service that's all please retrain them because I would not recommend this location to any friends or family. Connecting with your customers is something that makes every customer happy not just the usual script. read more
