I arrived to pick up my order and was told that they did not have an order for me, and asked if I had an order confirmation. I showed them the order confirmation, with the order number. They proceeded to shrug and say it didn't go through because they didn't have a ticket on their end. I then pulled up my bank account and showed them the payment for the order. To which they continued to tell me that despite my order confirmation AND payment - that it didn't go through because they had no ticket for me on their end. They offered no solution - not even a suggestion to place a new order (to which I wouldn't anyway because they already had the money for the previous order). I then asked for his name (no name tag) and phone number of the franchise owner - to which he told me he did not have any phone number, and I would have to go "look it up" myself. This gentleman claimed to be the store manager. He had zero customer service skills. When I got to my car, I called the corporate office and not only could they see my order AND my payment - they were incredibly helpful in ensuring I get my money back. Corporate gets 5 stars... but this location will never see my business again. read more

This is my second time eating at Five Guys. Better than McDonald, but not very special to me. I had hamburger with a lot of toppings and shared fries. It is kind of expensive and meat is OK, not good. I think IN-N-OUT is much better and cheaper. read more

Did the order for pickup during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they didn't answer their phone for 30 minutes while we sat outside waiting. We were forced to have to go into their building defeating the entire purpose of curbside pick-up. read more

Seven people standing in line and 10 waiting for their orders . 5 pm dinner time. Guess what they do? Make burgers 3(!!!!) at a time on the griddle. Which serves about 1.5 sandwiches since many have double or triple meet. 15 minutes later- I get my sandwich!! Single cheeseburger. Really guys? Anyone cares about customer service here? I am so glad they put a Five Guys in near me. For a fast food burger, they are best around. And their fresh cut fries are an added bonus. They focus on a small men done right! If you are looking for a good, simple delicious burger, this is the place. IT is a little pricey for fast food but it's worth the extra $ for the quality. First of all, Five Guys is my JAM. We travel all over the country and I literally opt for Five Guys as a go-to at least once, even on vacation. Needless to say, I've tried dozens of locations. When we moved to NH we were driving around the closest shopping area (Tilton) and I saw the "coming soon" sign and about died of happiness. Thank goodness I didn't...or else I might not have gotten to try out this location. DE-LISH. My favorite thing to do is to ask for way too many sides of mayo and no judgement. Anyway, my only tiny tiny suggestion is to go just a touch easier on the Cajun seasoning on the fries. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the stuff, but my most recent visit yielded some fries that were just a bit over salted. I couldn't eat many of them, unfortunately. Ps...Shake Shack who? read more

I witnessed the most bizarre act by an owner/manager I have ever seen. A young family was a sitting away from us, nearly everybody in the indoor dining area, they were not wearing masks (hard to eat and drink with one on), and someone who appeared to be a manager or maybe franchise owner went over them told them that they must wear masks or dine outdoors, that part I heard because the manager/owner was loud. I was taken back but I could not hear the male's response to the order. I noticed that the family was refunded then I witnessed what can only be described as F*ckery, the manager/owner rips the drink out of a young boy's hand and throws it away, the kid looked stunned. This all happened so quickly on an early Sunday afternoon. I was stunned and disappointed that a grown man would behave in this manner. I left my cell in the truck or otherwise I would have made this as*clown famous. DO NOT PATRONIZE the Tilton Five Guys. Burger King is more civil and less expensive. read more

***HORRIBLE*** My wife, 6 year old son and I travel within New England often and have frequently visited Five Guys franchise throughout the New England area and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Untill today that is. The three of us decided to have lunch at the Tilton location today. My son and I went and sat at a table while my wife went through the line and ordered. There were two other families at that time sitting at tables enjoying their lunch. After ordering and paying for our food, picking up my sons milkshake on her way by, my wife came and joined us at our table. At about the same time the manager came over to our table and demanded that if we weren't going to wear masks at our table we needed to wait for the rest of our food outside. I kindly pointed out to him that the now 4 other family's that were sitting at tables enjoying their lunch didn't have masks on either. His reply to me was that its not up for discussion either wait outside or leave. So I told him we would leave as long he he refunded our money. He agreed to refund us and even took and threw away my 6 year old sons milkshake right in front of him as he stood there crying in shame and embarrassment. They gave us a cup for our son. He's a caterpillar but we love him. Glad they could help is keep him safe. The people at the food counter also gave us a leaf of lettuce for him because he was hungry. He's a big growing boy we love. We found him over by zumiez and fell in love ever since. So like in other words I guess you can say we fucking stole him from his family but that's ok. The food was presented nicely the burger was more than I expected but after eating it when I went and took a bite the burgers were overcooked and hard like hockey pucks the fries where were soggy the grease is too cold when they cooked it that's the first time I've been disappointed in a five guys but maybe when the new people learn how to cook a burger and keep the grease hot in the fryer they will probably be just as good as all the others they've only been open a few days so hopefully they learn to keep the fryer grease up and not cook the burgers till they hard like hockey pucks read more

Just walked in to get a chocolate milkshake. $4.46 for a runny chocolate syrup. Not what I'm used to from five guys. A ton of Hershey's syrup. Where is the ice cream. Terrible. Didn't finish it. First and last time at the tilton restaurant for me. Only gave them two stars instead of one because the cashier was pleasant and no wait. If they're watering milking down the shakes, don't care to find out what else they're doing. Perhaps it's the same owner of the tilton dw who adds milk to the I've cream mix so it tastes like straight milk. Blah to both. Definite not I've cream. It's been a few days since the early reviews of this new place, so hopefully this is helpful. During our visit today, we found a friendly, upbeat and fun staff, juicy burgers and hot, crisp fries all freshly made-to-order, and a large, (very) clean dining area. I found Five Guys much more preferable to the fast food available around here when it comes to feeding kids on the go. At those places, I usually wait until we get home to eat, but I am looking forward to visiting Five Guys again. read more

Five Guys is awesome. I heard good things, and had to check it out. I love the simple menu. If you want a really good burger, and don't want to sift through pages of crap, this is your place. If you are a picky eater with a bunch of bullcrap "food allergies", gluten-free nonsense, vegan, grass-eater, or whatever food fad is popular right now, this is not your place. I went there on Wednesday, November 1st. Never in my life have I paid so much for a meal and been so unhappy. They are extremely expensive and I don't feel like I got what I paid for. It started when I approach the ordering counter, I made the mistake of telling the teller that this was my first time there. She said that you order you burger, then fries, and then drink. I said That I wanted a "HAMBURGER", then she messed me up, she said do you want a single or a double, I said that I wanted a "HAMBURGER". once again she repeated herself a single or a double. I said a single not knowing that I was actually getting was a "LITTLE BURGER". a hamburger I would get my grandson. When I got to the table and opened it up I said "WHERE THE H... IS THE BEEF". for an addition $1.50, I could have tasted the beef. I asked for a "HAMBURGER" and got a "LITTLE BURGER". Paying over $15 for a "LITTLE BURGER', medium fries, small diet coke, and a coffee shake is way to much. Needless to say, I will never go back. read more
