I've had breakfast there numerous times recently and nothing is ever hot. I'm done going there. Ordered a baconator and french fries . BOTH WERE COLD!! I was told; " it was tea" I told her tea is usually brown unless it's green tea. The young lady told me " what should I do & I don't know" another person came over inquiring and was worst! My grandson and I went to the drive thru for their new frosty's. I ordered a caramel crunch frosty. When the girl gave it to me, it had Oreo cookie pieces in it. I told her I didn't order that, and I wanted it made correctly. She got upset and said it was no big deal. I said it's not what I ordered. She took it back and scooped out the cookie and gave it back to me. So she scooped out the cookie, most of the crunch topping, and some of the ice cream !!! she handed it back to me and I said "you're really giving it to me this way. " She said "Girl" and rolled her eyes at me. I said what's your name ? I'm going to report you. She grabbed her name tag and said it's Kenya. Then she shut her window ! This serve was unbelievably rude and cost me over $11 for an incorrect order and a rude server ! I will not go back to that Wendy's ! And looking at the other reviews, it's not just my opinion! Another complaint this evening re this Wendys Again, had a coupon for a salad- they asked which one?- scanning options I advised new Cobb and also asked for baked potato- again he inquired which one- I didn't realize there was a choice- he asked again over the din of traffic and noise and frustration-I said forget it as traffic was loud and I had to yell and he was not listening. Was so loud, I was yelling. I pulled up to scan code I indicated I Had- outreaching as far as I could. He scanned, the laser hitting my face/eyes. I advised laser should not be at customers face. He proclaimed no, he wasn't and did it again-I advised that it was against FDA regulations. He closed the window, i waited ...and waited for my salad. Cars piling up behind me. He finally opened window, and I said I was waiting on salad. He said I could "leave- go Home". I asked to speak to Manager, and she said she was "no longer serving" I saw a police go by- I asked if she called or should I? She advised I could which I did. I pulled over and reiterated to non-emergency personnel. He noted to follow up with Corporate and I noted I was on it and pointed out this was the 2nd altercation, noting above. This establishment looks fairly well in the inside. Although I seen they allegedly did just get shut down by the FDA not too long ago. There is minimum diversity. A few peers and myself noticed that the manager is only in 1-2 days out of the week meaning it is hard for people to get interviews and when you do call to come there she doesn't want to talk . Every time I order from this restaurant, they find a way to mess something up. I've learned that you shouldn't order multiple meals otherwise only one will be correct, and the employees get to choose which one. All of the employees are young kids, and they're all obviously high out of their minds, so I can see why the food we get is a jumbled mess. If I order more than one meal, they pick and choose random customizations and apply them to a different meal. Management is impossible to get ahold of, as they never answer their phone. This Wendy's is pretty bad, but it's the only one in the area unless you want to drive to Rockville. The drive through line takes FOREVER. We've been several times this summer and I don't think I've waited less than 20 minutes. The people at the window NEVER say hello or thankyou and I have never once been given a receipt for my food. They don't even look at you when they give you your food, just shove it at you and shut the windows. I hit the drive thru so I don't know what the inside looks like, but they did renovate the building from the old school Wendy's to the newer version. Onto the food, grabbed a chicken sandwich meal w fries and the team hit the mark. Sandwich was hot and made to order and the fries came out fresh and hot! This has got to be the worst Wendy's on planet earth lol. No exaggeration. Trying to be respectful of social distancing regulations, and trying to throw business to local businesses, I placed my order and paid online. I get there to pick it up about 7 or 8 mins later. It isn't ready. It's like they never got the ticket. I can forgive that. What I can't forgive is how absolutely rude the staff is! I wait at the pick-up window for over 5 mins (which is ridiculous in general for a fast-food spot), and when my meal is finally ready it gets shoved at me through the window without a "thank you" or "sorry for the wait" or "have a nice day". None of that. The sorry *** worker at the window didn't even make eye contact with me lol. But, the manager in the yellow shirt DID make eye contact with me, but even he didn't say a single word. Not even a nod of the head or small. Thankfully, I don't frequent this place. The handful of times I've gone the wait has been long and the reception equally chilly. This will be my last visit. I honestly don't even know how they are still in business when there is a pleasant, newly remodeled McDonalds right next door. I would suggest that the owner hire a more mature and better-trained staff. The training should be on good etiquette and customer service. I get you may be trying to give teens and very young adults opportunities, but you need someone in there with solid customer service experience. If the fella wearing the yellow shirt today (3/29/20 at 6pm) is the owner. YOU need to refresh your customer service skills. Waiting is fine. I stopped at the Wendy's at 12988 Middlebrook Road, Germantown, MD 20874 to get a quick drive through meal after not having eaten all day. I was in the mood for a bacon cheese burger, and proceeded to order the $6 Biggie bag with the Bacon Double Stack burger. It was dressed the way I had asked, however, the bacon was missing from my sandwich! By the time I discovered the problem, I was almost home; two towns away from the Germantown Wendy's. Make sure you check your order every time when going though the drive through. They will forget stuff and give you the wrong stuff often. Either understaffed or the staff does not care. I get it, its fast food, no-one wants to work in the industry and its a crap job with crap pay, but how hard is it to make sure an order is correct, you are getting paid. Tried calling the establishment several times to have the meal fixed, but no one answered. Never the less we decided to let it be, as it was late and the customer service was not on par to being with.
