Went through the drive-thru and told the guy I wanted 2 Spicy McChicken Sandwiches and 2 Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. But he put 2 Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwiches and 2 Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. I told him that he made a mistake, but when I repeated my order again, he put down the same. So, drove to the window and had to repeat my order to him since he was about to charge $20+ for 4 sandwiches and 2 drinks. Told him once again that we wanted 2 Spicy McChicken and 2 Crispy Chicken Sandwiches. I showed my phone to use the McDonald's App to get 1 sandwich for free. So, the total came down to $10+, which was correct. Besides the confusing order the drive-thru guy made, the food we eventually got tasted great. Received our food and drinks in a timely manner. No issue there. Not sure if the guy was new, but wish he listened to the customers' orders carefully since I saw some other person park and go back in the restaurant to get their order corrected as well. read more

Ok so I was feeling some breakfast this morning and decided to stop off at McDonald's, not something I do often. I wanted to try the buttermilk chicken biscuit, and man was it a good Choice. At first while ordering it I wondered why in the world is it $3.99 for the chicken biscuit and then I get home and sit down and get ready to eat and it's ginormous! I couldn't believe how big it was and also how great it tasted. I also had 2hash Browns cooked well done and I was surprised they actually did them well done this time because when I ask for my fries well done it never happens. Do not get breakfast here. At least not today 3/10/21. I got the ham, egg, and cheese mcmuffin (#1) and it does not taste right. The cheese or egg must be rotten. I couldn't eat my third bite and spit it out. The two bites prior didn't settle and ended up coming back out. If you ate breakfast here 3/10/21 and got sick, join the club. I was on the way home from class and starving, so I stopped by the McDonald's near my home, which, if for anything else, is known for being generally quick with the service. This was no different. The "tenders" looked more like pulled chicken, and the cheese placement on the fish filet was soooooo McDonalds lol. I normally don't like to review major chains, but I do like to recognize individual efforts, especially since each experience can be vastly different. Mad props to this Mickey D's, though! We ordered quickly (once we decided what we wanted), and didn't have to wait on the person taking said order. The checkout was fast, and the wait time for our food was minimal, even with a special order. Everything came out exactly as we requested. Also, the fries were PERFECT! Very hot, nicely salted, fresh and tasty... exactly what you would hope for and expect from any McDonald's. As soon as we pulled up to the menu the women asked for our order, we told her we hadn't decided, we needed a moment (there was no menu posted further back, thus it was our first chance to see it). One minute later she interrupted us talking about our order and asked for our order again...I told her we needed a moment more, 1 minute later she told us we needed to order and we were holding up the people behind us and we could hear laughter in the background. This is a pretty solid McDonald's; nothing special but nothing bad. It's been pretty clean when I've gone in, and I've never had any issues with any of the staff. I've been through the Drive Thru a few times and they're pretty quick; most recently I got the big breakfast with hot cakes and it came out just a minute or 2 after I pulled up to the pick-up window. The food was hot and decent--the eggs were bland but I think that's pretty common across all locations. This is a pretty convenient location, with a good amount of parking and a grocery store, gas station, and CVS nearby. Although Yelp lists this location as 24/7, I think they close at midnight. They probably open early enough though that it wouldn't make much of a difference. I'd never go out of my way to eat here, but it's a convenient spot if you get a once-in-a-blue-moon craving for something on the menu. read more

I don't know if this will help because I know most people don't read yelp reviews of McDonald's, but this is by far the most expensive in the Gaithersburg / Germantown area. Most of the other McDonald's in the area are doing one dollar any size sodas, they aren't. Their egg white delight meal is $.30 more than everywhere else. Absolutely the worst McDonalds ever. I haven't been a while because I hate it but decided to go get myself and my daughter a quick breakfast sandwich. After I ordered, I observed the manager, walk over and grab frozen hash browns and throw them in a rack and into the deep fryer. I had noticed that he was running around doing a lot of things and thought that his hands hadn't been washed. Then, he grabbed a bag and ran it outside to a car that was waiting for food. He came back in, touching the same door we all do, and went right back to handling things. He was within eyeshot the whole time and never washed his hands. I just left this newly remodeled McDonalds. I couldn't really tell if it was open. Employees where just standing around. Ordered two hot apple pies, and a side salad. The hot apple pies were not hot at all. When I bit into it the apple where hard and it wasn't even warm. I got home thing I was going to eat a salad but it was a spinach salad.
