Usually at fast food places it's the people who attend to your order that make or break the visit. My Mom was having tests done at the hospital and my Dad needed to eat (he's 90). The young lady at the register was very polite and patient with him, far more than most people are. She apologized and said it had been a long day, but she didn't complain about it. I couldn't quite catch her name, starting with Hil(sorry), but what a nice person. Wendy's gets 5 Stars because of her alone. read more

I have never waited so long in a drive thru. I got to the speaker another wait. Got to the window and the server was chatting away with her co workers and not paying attention. What a sour smell by drink station, and tables and floor dirty with 6+ workers there. Frosty was melted like a shake and tasted sour complained and the manager was a nasty foul mouth and threw the refund into my husband's hand. I usually frequent the Auburn area and rarely get out to Geneva, but each time I have been here it has been really fresh - burn your mouth off fresh. The staff is really friendly and they have not once messed up an order - including an order we placed for 6 people in the drive thru that came out in 2 giant rope handled bags lol. I also really appreciate that I can get a large ice water - unlike most places I go to that argue and try to give me a small bottle or a small cup. read more

My visit started with Darius, who thinks everything is funny. Instead of providing the service he is being paid to (put food in bag, give bag to customer), Darius makes a point of mocking and making fun of customers. Naturally, I demanded to talk to the manager. Josh was given to me and introduced himself as the assistant manager, yet his response to every complaint was "that's a corporate problem." Couldn't get a single stitch of professionalism from anyone at the restaurant. ALL I WANTED WAS CHICKEN NUGGETS. After 20 minutes of unnecessary drama, I finally got the nuggets. Went to Wendy's after watching the truly awful "Batman vs Superman" and the service was just as awful as the movie. It was 3PM on a Sunday and the place was nearly empty. When we were walking in there were two servers at the register one a young lady and the other (apparently the manager) a guy wearing a ball cap festooned with what i guess were "bling" attesting to his experience, etc. The one couple ahead of us placed a rather large order (eight drinks with food to match) which the young lady took and started working on. The guy disappeared into the office next to the counter. We stood there for 15 minutes while the young lady took the large order and began to fill it (no one appeared to be helping her). Finally, after people started piling up behind us, she asked one of the several people hanging around in the back of the store to help us. Meanwhile, the "manager" wandered in and out of his office without helping us or anyone else. I like Wendy's food, but this franchise needs to do something about the service as I notice that several other customers have also complained about it. read more

We went to the drive one late Friday night. The girl was very hard to understand and I thought she said go to the first window to pay. I went to the first window and nobody was there and I waited a minute so I pulled up to the next window. I was the only customer there. So a gentlemen came and snatched my money from my hand. When he brought the change back the lady getting my food said to me in a very snide voice "technically the first window is that one back there." I filled out the survey when I got home and had an email from the manager on Sunday. I tried calling them on Monday and they never answered. I emailed to let them know this. I waited a week and heard nothing. I emailed a week later to inform them of this and also did another survey online. They get back to me and say they were out for medical reasons and it was left to the assistant manager to contact me. They say it must have fallen through the cracks so can I contact them. I told them no I was done they had plenty of chances to make this right and I see where the poor customer service comes from. I have not heard back yet from the corporate head quarters or from that manager. I do not plan on going there again or any Wendy's unless this matter is taken care of. I do not want free food I want to know why I was treated with such disrespect and what they plan on doing about it. read more
