PRIORITIZES DRIVE-THRU OVER ALREADY-PAID CUSTOMERS. With the opening of the newest attraction in Newark, Taco Bell Newark was completely unprepared for the influx of business they would receive. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I rolled into the parking lot, seeing the drive-thru line and nearly getting hit by several other patrons, I decided to park and go in. I was hoping to get my order in sooner than the long line waiting outside; meaning I would get my food sooner. I ordered within 5 minutes of walking in via the Kiosk. It never printed a receipt. I was worried about that. After waiting 20 minutes, I noticed some of the cars that had almost hit me while pulling into the drive-thru line were now gone. I went up to the desk and was told they 'were busy and would get to my order soon'... Another 20 minutes went by and more drive-thru customers were serviced while the people waiting in the dining room were completely ignored. After 45 minutes of waiting, I went up to the counter again, almost wanting a refund but had no receipt. They gave me my order within 5 minutes and I left very unhappy. The restaurant should NOT prioritize the drive-thru - customers who haven't actually paid for their order yet - until they get to the window - over the customers who ordered and paid in the same instance. I do not recommend this location until they can officially get their act together and stop ignoring customers. read more

First time stopping in on my lunch break, took me maybe 37 seconds to get through the drive-thru. Lady working the window and speaker was the most polite happy worker I have ever seen at a fast food restaurant. Well what can be said about Taco Bell? This one is attached to Kentucky fried chicken as well. Doesn't really matter which one I go to, I always end up getting the same thing. Flaming diarrhea if I go to Taco Bell and if I choose Kentucky fried chicken, I can feel my arteries hardening with every bite. Just so that I don't sound like a negative Nancy, I ended up getting something from the Taco Bell menu and now I am waiting for the adverse reaction. Would I recommend this Taco Bell, in Geneva, not to a vegetarian. Generally Taco Bell is a great option for vegetarians but not this restaurant. We ordered chicken and bean tacos. Instead of beans, they put beef, even though the guy explicitly said black beans. I can forgive all this, because we figured out it was an accident. Went in at opening and the lobby was still gross and dirty from the night before. Tables were dirty floor wasn't swept or moped. Their broom was still on the floor. Garbages never taken out, full to the brim from the night before. The soda machine looks like it's never been cleaned, they had a whole cover missing on one of the spouts. My fathers chalupa was stale. Probably left out from the night before. Waited 15 minutes with 5 people in line with me before we were even acknowledged standing there. Took 1 order & left the counter to do drive through & talk on her cellphone. Finally came back to take another order (while other employees kept just looking at all the people standing in line). Waited 20 mins for my order (ONE me I am pizza & a nacho belle grande) while others got their food who ordered after me. Realized the girl taking the order was the manager!! And the other girl hanging out just looking at people standing there (also on her phone) was the co manager!!!! Co manager also made food & brought out to friends on the phone...for free!!! Food was not made properly and I wasn't about to have them redo. Say eating while the staff talked loudly dropping the F bomb every 5 minutes!!! Worst experience ever. I went in the drive thru thinking it would b quick, boy was I wrong. When I finally got up to the window after 20 mins with only 2 cars ahead if me; I paid and then the wait started again. All I had ordered was a 7 layer burrito, 2 chalupas, 4 chicken soft tacos, 4 spicy chicken burritos and 2 nachos. After waiting forever they finally came to the window and said they didn't have BEANS for the 7 layer burrito, so I still agreed, they then came back 10 mins later to tell me they didn't have the RICE for the spicy chicken burrito! I still said get me something different. Then I finally get my food ask if everything is there, they say yes so I pull to check and they missed the 7 layer burrito! When I finally got to the speaker, some chooch came out and told all the cars behind me that they were closing the drive thru. She didn't come to my car though. After waiting another 5 minutes the person on the other end of the speaker they told me I had to go inside because they were having computers issues. I don't think I've ever lost my appetite as fast as I did walking into this restaurant. It was absolutely disgusting. Food covered all of the tables, the floor, chairs, and even the walls. The person who waiting on us was very polite, but the other workers, not so much. One employee came into the waiting area and her manager came and yelled at her in front of everyone, she had left her trainee by herself and was not on break. The woman's bathroom was out of order and they told me I could not take my potty training son in to use it. He almost had an accident because of it. They messed up our order, and blamed us. KFC in Geneva, NY is dirty. The restaurant had only 6 people in there. The floors were littered underneath the tables and we had to ask for a cloth to clean the table we finally found. When she finally came to clean the tables, she simply pushed the food off onto the seats of the booths and the floor underneath. The food we had (pot pies) was good. But the sanitary conditions and attractiveness of the restaurant were seriously awful. read more

I wish I could leave a zero star. I am currently stuck sitting in the drivethru at this Taco Bell for a half hour now. Apparently their computers are down and instead of blocking off the drivethru, or asking people to pull forward so those of us that just want to go somewhere else I am trapped! Worst taco bell experience ever. As a recent college graduate I have my fair share of trips to taco bell. This however was by far the worst as the floors were filthy, there was garbage overflowing from 3 different trash cans, soda spills and all kinds of sticky marks on the tables. Even with all of this you would still expect your food to be ready quick, but you would be wrong. I waited for 15 minutes just to have some acknowledge me and take my order then another 20 for them to actually give me the food. They also didn't offer me a receipt so as they called receipt numbers I had to check to food bags to see if it was my order. Finally, I get my food and take the 5 minute trip home to find out that every single item ordered was cold and smashed up. There was about 10 workers in the back, but only 2 were doing anything. There is a saying, "Those who order fast food deserve what they get." Until tonight, however, that has never been the case. I ordered 4 bean burritos for work lunches at the drive through and what I received was a pile of half wrapped,sloppy, leaking, bent in half pieces of thrown together food tossed in a paper bag and shoved in a plastic bag. The person who took my order seemed distracted at best, uncaring at worst, and more interested in the loud shouting going on in the kitchen than attending to her customer. Must have been because it was after the dinner hour and no customers in the dining room- no surprise. I was not offered any sauces and had to ask, after which I was given enough for maybe one of the items ordered. I have ordered the same thing at other locations and have always been pleased with the care and customer service received. Someone needs to have a talk with the manager, if there is one. At this point, I guess that if I want a simple bean burrito from Taco Bell, I will have to wait until I'm near a different location because I can't see myself coming back to the Geneva store. read more

I'm convinced this place is simply a front for a large meth lab operation. Every time I come here there's always 8 people running around back, looking very busy, yet there can be a total of one customer at the counter inside and one other person in the drive thru and you will still be waiting around 20 minutes at the damn drive through. Every. Damn. Time. It's unbelievable, and its been like this for YEARS. Every time I go there I'm baffled as to what could possibly be taking them so long to make a burrito with all those people running around there. Yeah, and as for the food and service? Well put it this way - one time I asked for a chicken grilled stuft burrito and they gave me a burrito WITHOUT THE CHICKEN. No meat whatsoever. That's like going to a pizzeria and they forget to put cheese on your pizza or missing the burger patties on a Big Mac. Consistently awful, poorly made, unfresh food, and will get your order wrong more than half of the time. read more

if i could give negative stars i would. i have never seen anyplace worse in my entire life. i worked in the restaraunt industry for 10 years and have spent almost 30 years in customer service. my 10 year old daughter wanted taco bell the other night, i waited over 30 minutes for them to make 3 tacos for her. at one point they said well we can give you your money back. no i just want my food. manager never apologized or showed her face. one lady came in behind me by 20 minutes, and got her huge kfc order before me! i did at one point tell some others that came in if they were hungry they should go someplace else. at least i got that. read more
