Food was good if you get what you ordered. Service is hot and cold. It all depends on if the person taking the order can speak and understand English well. Been there twice. We stopped here on the way back from Breckenridge to Denver. I checked the app and I was able to get some good deals by placing my mobile order before arriving. My husband loves their Chili, so we enjoyed some hot and spicy chili at this Wendy's with large windows overlooking the mountains. The staff was really polite and professional. There are no restrooms inside the restaurant...you have to step outside into the strip mall and use the mall restrooms. Easy to pull in / out from the main road. read more

We are on a road trip and went through the drive thru for a quick bite. Everyone was very nice! This is the first time we have been to this location. The food was phenomenal. Service was fast. For a gas station adjacent fast food restaurant, this Wendy's is pretty damn good! Note that I dined inside vs. doing the drive thru. Inside is clean. Like, cleaner than some casual non-chain eateries I've been to lately. There's a kiosk to order if you want to go the high tech route. Or if you're old fashioned, walk on up to the counter and talk to a human. It took a little while to get our order but it wasn't terribly bad. Fingers crossed that everything was being made fresh! Very fancy soda machine that plays music on top of everything else? With vanilla root beer? And organized soda lids? I'm in hamburger heaven. So yeah, this Wendy's is killing it! Every time I come here, the staff is always beyond rude. One time a gentlemen's tried to fight a customer, telling him to come back when his shift ended. I went through the drive thru today and the lady at the window with the multi colored hair shoved my food at me and didn't say a word. Upon walking in, I didn't want to eat here but we were too tired to go anywhere else after traveling all day. There were several workers sitting at a table hanging out and I thought they must be on break. Wrong- they all got up, one took our order and the other prepared our food with no gloves on. After we received our food, the workers came back out and sat at a table to hang out again. They were up and down each time a customer came in. Needless to say, I didn't want to eat the food that I was given. The counters were dirty near the ketchup and a dirty baby blanket was laying beside the ketchup dispenser. The place is soooooo dirty. The drink machines were dirty, one was empty of ice, the other had a dump load of ice if the dispenser area. Most of the tables needed cleaning. I wish I could give this location a 0 star rating. Upon walking in we were told that the system was down and we had to use a kiosk. My order went through on the kiosk but was sent to a different location. The guys working were trying to be helpful by giving us our order anyway but the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. She said if we wanted to eat we would have to reorder and pay for the food and call to get a refund at the other location. She then proceeded to place our order on the system she said was down. Drive the extra 1-2 miles up to the next exit for Wendy's because this one isnt worth the attitude she has. read more

I got there early in the morning planning on going skiing and needed a little food in me so I ordered a biscuit and gravy, when I got it the plastic box was sideways in the bag and open, all of the gravy had already spilled out to the bottom of the bag and in less than 5 minutes had soaked through and was all over my car, included were zero utensils and zero napkins so i had no way of eating it, had a car newly soaked in gravy, and had no place to go to clean it up because the inside doors were locked. horrible experience, food was cold when i attempted to eat it with my bare hands, wont come back. read more

While the staff was nice and the food hot and fresh, and while fast food restaurants are trying to be more technologically advanced, the touch screen option was a nightmare. There was no line, and we walked up to the counter where it says to place order and no one took our order for acknowledged us at! Even if we wanted to order there no one said anything or told us to go back to the touchscreen ordering kiosks. It took me almost 3 minutes to place an order that a human could have placed in 30 seconds or less. And if it had been busy, I can see not wanting to wait in line and ordering at the kiosk but make the kiosk a little easier. Especially adding an option for a plain burger or item. The subtracting of each individual item off of your potential order is a time waste. We we're the only ones ordering, so no line so no need not to have a personal interaction. And the food still took a slightly extended amount of time to prepare. Again, the staff were pleasant albeit not really aware of any confusion that was taking place and not paying attention and very limited in their responses even when handing us food and us mentioning the concerns we had. read more

Okay, this just went down and I am still upset. I'm hard-of-hearing and I have an accent, which I'm self-conscious about. My speech is good enough that people usually have no problem understanding me, but once in a while someone asks me to repeat myself. They're always nice about it, though. The cashier at this Wendy's, on the other hand, was the rudest I've ever seen anyone in this type of situation. When it was my turn to place an order, this happened: Me: Hi, I'll have -- Cashier: Here or to go? Me: To go...? Without saying a word, the cashier shoved a piece of paper and a pen into my face. Me: Why? Cashier: Um, YOU'RE DEAF! I can't understand you! I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOU! I can't even begin to describe how humiliated I felt at that point. She spoke in a tone like she thought I was mentally challenged. She spoke extra loud, too. I bet the entire restaurant heard her. I don't appreciate the fact that just because I have hearing loss, she assumed right off the bat that I was incapable of communicating like a normal person. I won't be surprised if I ever find out that this woman treats all of her foreign customers like they're 5 just because she thinks they don't know English. The worst part? The manager (I think? Big guy with long hair?) watched it happen and did diddly squat about it. I think he just walked away. It's a shame, because I'm a local and I come to this place once in a while. Grabbed a quick meal after being in the mtns all day, EXHAUSTED, otherwise I may have not eaten what I was served. My sandwich was basically dumped out of the wrapper into the bag, and had a long, curly hair in the middle of it. All the sauce packs we got were either crusty on the outside, or strangely grainy in texture (expired? who's to say). We pulled up to the gas station for a bathroom break on our drive back to Denver from Aspen boy were we glad we did. We were driving through a blizzard and we were all pretty hungry so it worked out. We bee-lined to the Wendy's and everyone placed their order as I whipped up the Wendy's Gluten Free menu on my new Droid 2. Score it popped open within in seconds and I ordered a side salad, a side of the chicken breast and a baked potato. Since I was still a hot mess from Aspen, it was difficult for me to communicate my GF intolerance but I didn't give up and there were 2 or 3 people trying to accommodate my special request. I stopped by the Frisco Wendy's to pick up breakfast sandwiches (I ordered 15) for my co-workers. I also ordered two large potato wedges. There was no one else in line at the drive-thru. The guy on the intercom told me there would be a 5 minute wait on the chicken. I said no problem and then he laughed and said "you're going to be waiting a while for all this food." I didn't think his tone was funny. Then after the food comes out (I only waited about 5 minutes and only one car pulled up behind me about a minute before the food came out), the manager comes to the window and asks me if I come there often. Thinking he was going to let me in on some super secret discount or give me a coupon or something, I said yes. He then began lecturing me about calling ahead with large orders, "so you don't have to wait." His demeanor was not friendly, and the message was obvious that i was inconveniencing them. I'm not sure why, since it was NOT busy. When I arrived at work, I was missing one of the sandwiches and both orders of potato wedges. F*** these guys. Ordered two meals- a spicy crispy chicken and am Asiago chicken. Both were slightly overfried but that was not the real problem. Both had been fried in overused oil and were consequently bitter. Horrible experience. Went to the Chipotle down the street...awesome food, and far healthier I guess. I now stop there each time. I even emailed Wendy's, got an email from the owner offering a free meal. I responded saying 'sure, how can I avail of that", and she (Jules) never responded again.
