So Lindsey S. totally gives me shiz for reviewing worthless places like Wendy's or TGI Friday's or Shell gas stations but I have things to say dammit!... I'm not doing it just to get a first! Ahem... This was the worst Wendy's experience ever in my life. It was so bad that in addition to this review, I got a little yellow customer comment card to fill out and send in to the corporate office. What was so bad? My hamburger was room temperature, the cheese wasn't melted, it didn't come with any onions, the lettuce and tomato looked and tasted to be about 3 days old and my fries tasted like they had been sitting out under that heat lamp for at least 13 years. To top it off the sink in the bathroom was backed up and filled with dirty water. ew! This place needs to get shut down. Seriously not impressed. Ordered 2 Jr cheese burgers, both were cold, one had onions the other didn't, then one had mustard and the other didn't. While I sat in my truck eating there was a manager outside smoking (7/9/16 12 noon) he was talking down to one of his employees. Called him stupid at a volume loud enough that I could hear it in my truck. He didn't finish his cigarette so he put it in the water main area, I took a picture of it. 2/3 of the service sucked. The pro: The taller, somewhat skinny guy working last night (10/24/2014) was friendly. The cashier, on the other hand, seemed impatient with both mine and my roommate's orders. She actually sneered at me as if saying "no onions" was a crime. Sorry, don't like it. She and one of the cooks kept bickering unprofessionally about my "complicated order" (the new BBQ fries special....only no onions), and it was noticeable they were getting annoyed with each other. They then got my roommate's order wrong, and then said that "he ordered it wrong." Yep, his bad, apparently. As for the food.....this isn't affecting my score. I enjoy Wendy's when I get a legitimate rare fast food craving. I wasn't fond of the BBQ fries, but the nuggets to replace them were good (as always), and my salad tasted good enough. Had their double burger and fries. The fries were not cooked very well, there were no regular sized fries. It was like I got the bottom of the bag. The manager or owner was very degrading to his employees. Always micro managing and kind of rude to them. Made me feel uncomfortable. Not much of a team player. For a Wendy's this was an excellent Wendy's. The food was really fresh. My crispy chicken sandwich was actually as advertised, very crispy and juicy. Service was a but slow, but worth the wait. The value menu is quite a deal. You can get like 300 calories per dollar! read more

First off it wasn't even busy at the time when I ordered. I paid for a large fries with my Dave's double and got a small fries. It also took forever to get my food and it seemed like they had people confused back in their "kitchen". It's just like every other Wendy's. It's very clean. The only problem I have with this location is that I saw them drop some cups on the ground one time and they just put them back to use them. I always thought that if anything touched the ground In the restaurant floor it would end up In the garbage. I contacted corporate but I don't remember if u heard back from them. read more

I was craving a junior bacon cheeseburger so of course I don't mind driving a mile and a half to go get one. It wasn't busy at all, yay! One star gone for my food not being warm. It was actually really good! The bacon was crispy and the lettuce/tomato tasted very fresh. But it just wasn't warm): One star gone for the very lazy guy who took my order! I'm always polite while ordering and say please and thank you. So, as I complete my order I say "Thank you" and he says "mhm". Lol I actually hear him say "mhm"! And when I get to the window he tells me "I'll get your food out when I can" it was just odd, I was the only person there, no need for attitude sir! Overall: very satisfied tummy:) read more

Dude worst Wendy's ever. There are as only two people in front of me and it took them 15 for me to place my order. Then I waited additional 20 min listening to the cashier putting the manager in check. Then the manager got mad that the cook for getting the burger mixed up. third time I've been to this place recently and loving the fact that my food is made fresh right then, they keep the drive through moving by having people pull into the parking lot and bringing you your food there, they mistakenly gave my friend a burger with onions and instantly brought out another one without them. The food isn't too bad. Actually good salads. It did take 18 minutes to get our food out to our table in a nearly empty restaurant. The highlight was listening to the manager verbally abuse these kids for the last 20 minutes. I'm guessing at the first chance to find other work these young adults leave. Pretty sad. read more

Came here for lunch, and it wasn't bad. I got a double cheeseburger, which was really good, and a frosty, which was also good. Their chili and their baked potatoes is spot on, too. However, they were a little busy, and my sister's burger came with only cheese when she wanted lettuce and tomato, too. When I went to give her some of my toppings, I only had one lettuce leaf and one tomato slice. Other than that though, the food was pretty good. read more

Had lunch here today at Wendy's in Dixon and everything was just as expected. Staff are nice and food always comes out fast and hot no matter what time of day it is or how many people are in the drive through. These folks clearly do not understand that the money is as green in the dining room as it is through the drive through. In the same time that many cars were being handled, there was 1 register person with no assistance up front. I had 2 families in front of me in line that made very normal orders and I waited nearly half an hour for my food. By the time I got my food there was a line through the maze. The owner of this location need to get their staff in order! Every time i decide to eat here its always a problem. I am sitting in the drive thru at this moment waiting for fresh fries since they always serve old fries. The reason i had to come back thru in the first place was because they messed up my order as always. So since i had to turn around to get the rest of my food i demanded fresh fries too. I then had to wait 3-4 minutes behind two cars. Then the guy at the window had nerve to attempt to force me to park out front and wait for my fries. I told him NO!
