Showed up to order what I wanted and was told that nothing was available. What am o supposed to eat? Napkins?! Jeez, then they advertised a new frosty that I won't get to have tonight because they said "ain't no mo" literally. Then I was told baked potatoes were discontinued even though they show available on the menu. Pulled up at 10:40 (they close at 1). Sit in the drive thru... Not a word. My partner says "Hello!" to the speaker. Still not a word. After a few minutes waiting with no response, we decide to pull off. I think to just look inside while we pull away. There is a degenerate standing with the headset on looking at the drive thru camera. So he was standing there looking at us waiting and didn't do his job. So, I just went through the drive-through at this location (July, 23, 2021) to order lunch- a Jalapeño Popper salad. First of all, the drive-thru moved super slow, but I waited patiently. Then, I requested this salad, which was listed on the menu. The drive-thru attendant told me that there were no salads. I question him about there being no salads in the entire restaurant. I has 2 orders and the worker put them together after saying something to her with her speaker still on she said "You didn't say that." I go to this Wendy's about once a month. Every time I go the employees on the speaker and at the windows are at least very unfriendly or downright rude. When you get to the windows their personal conversations, laughing and joking with each other, or personal phone calls seem to have a higher priority. I went on Sunday. I really wanted a summer strawberry salad. Before I could finish the word "summer" the voice said "We don't have any salads." very gruffly. I said "What? No salads?" The voice said "I TOLD YOU - NO SALADS!!!" So I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and fries. At each window, no greeting, smile or eye contact with the customer but they were having fun with their co-workers. I live close to there and when I got home the food was cold. I heated up the fries. They were so dry it was like eating cardboard sticks. The chicken in the sandwich was so dry and hard I couldn't cut it with a knife or even tear it apart. It was like a thin piece of jerky! Fairly convenient Wendy's right off of 285. Clean interior, although the parking lot has massive potholes near the drive thru, behind the store. beyond that, it's Wendy's and the food doesn't change. "Meh. I've experienced better" encapsulates this Wendy's fairly well. I went off peak hours and a lot of the employees we're in that lazy state. It made me think about how Wendy's as a whole hasn't seemed to be doing pretty well. A bit depressing. There was weird music, and the food was below average. Not horrendous, just below average. The bacon was reeeeally old, and hard, and the patty was a little dry. This is the closest Wendy's to my home but they can never get it quite right. On drive through visits I've had to return several times because I was given the wrong order or I didn't get everything I paid for. Today my husband and I stopped for lunch. He arrived and ordered before me. Though the service was speedy, I wasn't asked "for here or to go" and received my food in a bag even though we were dining in. This is the dirtiest, most run down Wendys I have ever been to in my life! One of the 2 large ketchup pump dispensers for patrons was broken /empty and the other one wouldnt hardly pump either.
