Does not greet at the speaker. After minutes waiting I said "hello?" And was greeted with "one moment please." No more needs to be said after this encounter. Had to update this. After waiting another few minutes and finally getting my order in I pull up immediately after only to be greeted with "did you order?" And having to place my entire order all over again. As I pulled up it looked closed but wasn't. The entire staff of three young men were hanging outside as we waited at the speaker. We ordered and got no receipt. We were told to pull around to the double doors(the front entrance). As we waited on our food I noticed no one had a uniform and looked like they just had on regular clothes. I wanted to write another review for this location, hoping that someone will actually listen. I've traveled the US and been frequenting BK's for as long as I can remember, and this location is far and above the worst I've ever come across. And its really sad, because I live just down the street from it. It was about a month ago, I went through the drive through on a Friday night and could hear people on the speaker talking about pot, drugs, getting high and a few other personal things, I guess they didn't realize the mic was on... I decided to try the new hand-breaded chicken sandwich because it looked pretty good on the picture, along with onion rings, which I've always loved. At the window, he gave me a total of almost $10!! I said that can't be right, and he said "oh yeah, that doesn't sound right!" and pushed a few keys and gave me a total of $7+, which I thought was still kind of high for 2 items. I should have inspected everything before driving away, but that night I was tired and wanted to get home and eat. Well, the onion rings were hard and dry and tasted burnt, as if they'd been fried several times. And this wonderful breaded chicken sandwich was anything but - it wasn't even the hand breaded, but the flat regular chicken sandwich, and was also hard, chewy and burnt. On Apri 29th 2023 at 7:10p. I stopped to get a crispy chicken sandwich from burger King 4622 Memorial Dr. Decatur GA 30032. I paid w a $20 bill. The cashier gave me a bunch of dirty bills and a ripped ,$1. I asked her to replace the bills. She said she couldn't. I ask the manager at the time. He said he couldn't replace the bills even when another cashier said could once another customer pay out of another register. So the manager refuse to replace the bills. Then they brought my food Food that looked spoiled and rotten. I have added the picture of the crispy chicken sandwich to this email on jowbit looked. I asked the manufacturer to replace the crispy chicken said and he refused to. They called the ops because they took the old sandwich back and fid not want to give me any sandwich even though I already paid for it. They called the cops. The cops made them make me a fresh sandwich. This was the worst burger King I have ever been too. Their rating is a 82. I never eat at burger king for several reasons that doesnt involve this place but I was in a rush and needed food before class. My order was taken promptly and very professionally. Drove up to the 2nd window the lady that was working the window was very polite and quick at taken my payment and handing me my water. Food came out surprisingly quick dude that handed it to me was very respectful and polite confirmed I had my drink before letting me leave. Food was really good tasted and felt freshly cooked, fries hot, and burger had melted cheese. The only reason I didnt give this place 5 stars is because of whoever the owner of this place. Ordered my meal they were out of regular drink cups so gave me a frozen drink cup. King box is supposed to come with cookies....there's a cinnamon roll box in the bag get down the road thinking there are cookies in the box in which I was craving due to pregnancy and there are actual nasty mini cinnamon rolls in there. Customer Service is horrible at this location. Only reason I come is because it's the nearest location within 10 miles, and BK Is the only fast food restaurant that sells veggie burgers. I've been twice in the past month and both experiences were horrible. The drive thru is more like a parking lot. I waited 15 minutes + both times. It's no way out the line once your in line. DON'T order through the drive thru!! Every time I have ordered from the drive thru...my order was always wrong and they make me wait for a long time to even get my order. For instance...the last time I visit this burger king...I ordered the apple and cranberry salad with no cheese. Just one salad. They told me to drive around to the front and wait. My only gripe, which is in no way exclusive to Burger king, is they left mayo on my sandwich when I asked for none. The other night I came in the drive thru, I simply asked for the 2 (burgers) for $6, I asked for 2 whoppers and I had one coupon for a free whopper. In reality, that totals 3 BURGERS !!!! I finally get to the window after 5,000 years and the lady tells me that my total is $11.22. I asked very politely how was that the total, then she proceeded to tell me that she rung me up for 4 whoppers, If I got the 2 for 6, with a coupon for a free burger I dont understand how the miscommunication was off. So then I tell her how it should be 3 burgers, then she rudely interrupts and says so you dont want 2 burgers, I say no then she slams the window in my face and gets her manager which takes another 6, 7 minutes as there is a line forming behind me. Then the rude manager comes up and says what burgers you need taken off ? I explain to her the situation and she doesn't seem to care. The one star is being generous! I had the worse experience at this location. I simply ordered a whopper with cheese, no pickles, extra onions and cut in 1/2. When i received the order, I could clearly tell they took an old burger and took the pickles off the sandwich and lettuce were wilted and it wasn't cut in half but was cold and stale. I was on my lunch and was rushing so i didn't have time to turn back around. I am disgusted for the mere simple fact that every experience I seem to have with restaurants in "Our" communities I get inferior service. the workers don't care AT ALL. I've written to BK about this one before. For about a month, they cleaned it up. It was NASTY...now, it's slipping again...today, it was the usual looooooong wait time to get your food. Drink and Straw section was sticky and dirty....again......ketchup bin at the counter? Wear gloves...two-pair...try CLEANING That thing once in awhile??? Food? BK meh......cheap, chewy, fast food without the emphasis on fast.....now the fun part... Today, bathrooms out (Again), pan handled by a thug who was actually eating while he panhandled...I guess that is what they call multi-tasking in da' hood......then, as I left, another thug panhandled me while sitting down right at the door....management doesn't do a think to run them off....both were way too well-dressed and clean to actually need the money...... If this one sucks, the one a mile down on the right inside the perimeter on Memorial drive is a vacuum....scary......this is the "better" location....wash your hands before, during and after.....sometimes you just gotta eat and this one is right next to I-285....next time, I'll drive further....this one is located at 4622 memorial drive just outside I-285....diagonal to the DeKalb County Jail....probably the former home for the panhandlers....just avoid this area....dangerous, dirty, run down.....good luck! We waited 25 minutes as one car at a time waited to give their order and then pick up. At the speaker, we heard a loud boom then we tried to give our order and the employee said to wait until she finished with the only car in front of us. When we finally ordered our 2 minishakes recently advertised, she informed us they add no milkshake product. I was mad and asked for the manager to meet me at the window. She said, "We can't help it if we don't have the milkshake mix." I said, "Well, your manager can!" I repeated I wanted to see the manager and she said, "Thank you! Have a good day. Goodbye." I would describe my experience but I was unable to have one seeing as though when I pulled into the drive thru the workers scattered and hid. Granted it was 2:20am when I pulled up to order I waited 5 mins and heard nothing. When I finally drove pass the pick-up window the workers reappeared within view. As I drove down the street I called to confirm they were open 24hrs. A female answered the phone and I asked "are you open 24hrs?" She replied "we close in 6 mins." So I was there 10mins before closing and got no service. Not even a "sir we're closed" while I waited at the drive thru. Is this how this BK is managed? Ordered sausage egg cheese combo. They said that they did not have any coke. Sandwich tasted awful. Looked at sandwich, sausage was fried hard and was dry. The cheese was gluey and sticky.
