Went through the new Clermont Wendy's on 50 drive though today, simple order burger and drink... drive up she's not in uniform, swings the window open, stuck her arm out and says nothing. So I say nothing giving my card. Gives my drink, then hands the bag and my card together, without a receipt and closes the window. I was the only customer in drive through and no one was in the dining room. I drive, park and begin to eat, the burger was dry and overcooked. Seriously is this the best they can do? We ordered Frostys and they were both just froth not thick ice cream as normal. When mentioned I did not think the frosty machine was making the properly. They looked at me like I was crazy said they would check but no offer for a refund or credit to come back another day and try again. Wendy's is a staple for the junior bacon cheeseburger and frosty. However their dining room doesn't open till 7pm. Cool for spacing stuff l, but after a kids science fair when I had to leave early due to back pain, twenty minutes in line to get some nuggets and frothie was a bit lame. Their spicynuggs were anything but, but a frosty is always nice. Staff was tight with the long line around the building...but they have to do better to increase satisfaction and or revenue. read more

Picked up dinner for my kids. The woman that was taking orders at the window was friendly and I quickly got my order submitted. I pulled around, paid, and pulled to the food window. You could see the employees in there working, but chatting and seeming to be having a good evening. My food was promptly served and it was pipping hot (2 kids meals and a $5 biggie bag). This food was as expected from what I get from other Wendy's. It is near where my kids have lessons so we will probably pop back into this location again as it is convenient. read more

My wife and I sometimes like a baked potato and chili for dinner, so I went to Wendy's on Rte 50 in Claremont tonight to get our mealsto-go. They only had one baked potato, but we were able to get 2 large chilis and I added a Cobb salad for me. The baked potato was disgusting and the chili was more like chili flavored bean soup. The Cobb salad was decent, but I didn't find out until I got home that they didn't provide any salad dressing. This was our first and last time to visit this Wendy's. read more

So slow and the employees just don't seem to care. I placed an order inside for several burger combos and a frosty, I was the only person inside, though 4 cars in drive thru. After I paid I wasn't given my drink cups, I had to ask for the drink cups after the cashier took the next order. 13 minutes later my food was ready and in order however they forgot my frosty so I had to ask for that. Mind you, you make your own drinks here so literally all they need to do is bag the french fries and the five burgers and that took 13 minutes to me that doesn't make it fast food. On Sunday I went this location at 9:00pm saw the big Wendy's sign light was off and the door was locked. We tried going to the drive thru but the light was also off. Wendy hours on Sunday is 10AM-12AM. I guess the staff decided to go close shop early that night. Went to Arby's on hwy 27 there lobby and drive thru was still open. Poor service. Poor first impression. When I pulled up to the drive through there were at least four employees sitting out back by the dumpsters smoking. As I waited at the drive through, two employees jumped up and ran into the building (including the woman with the headset on) I finally ordered my food, paid, and was asked to wait at another window (I was the only patron at the location). When my food arrives the order was a mess in the bag and incomplete. After driving back around to the window again, the woman tells me that she forgot to add an item I asked for but did not charge me for it. She said she "just forgot to tell me". I was then told if I wanted the item I would have to wait even longer. I was not given a receipt to even check if I was actually charged for the item or not. I guess she forgot that too. Her attitude seemed as if she was "put off" and annoyed. Maybe because she had to stop smoking and help a customer? Overall pretty shabby service, especially at the 7-7:30am hour when folks are stopping in before work. Maybe if they all didn't go on a smoke break at once, or if the manager actually managed appropriately, these mistakes would not be made. I pass by this location with my kid about four times a week. This was clearly a sign that I should just keep passing by and not stopping. read more

I was extremely dissatisfied with my Wendy's experience tonight at 850 E. Hwy 50, Clermont, FL 34711. When I left Wendy's and returned to my parents' house, the employee forgot my drink. I served that meal to my father and returned home to find him without a drink. When I called Wendy's, Zaria said, "I should have checked my bag before I left." She stated that she "always double-checks her bag before leaving". I then inquired about her name and requested to speak with a manager. I explained to the Manager, Jeovanna, that I was in a hurry and that if I was required to check my bag, there should be a warning put on the menu that Wendy's might forget my items!! That is both absurd and impolite. It wasn't even about the drink; it was about the awful customer service. My options they gave me were to return my food for a refund or come back to receive my drink. I live in Montverde, Florida, and there are no food options nearby. That Wendy's was the only Wendy's in the vicinity, and it was a 15-minute drive. My dinner will be cold by the time I get my drink and return. This issue has enraged me, and you may have lost a customer as a result. I'm hoping that this Wendy's has better management, because this was ridiculous. read more

Went to wendys at 9:36 p.m. last night and it was very busy. The manager inside was upset with the help. Some of the help were going to walk out and it was done in front of the customers. The manager said the door would be locked early because they couldn't keep up with the crowd. Included in my order was chili. I got a lump of chili in the bottom of the cup not fit to eat.
