I stopped by for lunch and ordered the grilled chicken wrap combo--it was, of course, delicious as always. The highlight of my visit, though, was the amazing customer service. The young woman who rang me up was incredibly sweet and professional. She even complimented my hair, which definitely made my day. Thank you for the great food and even better service

Not the first time we've been disappointed with this location, but I guess we've learned our lesson. Something is always wrong with our order and this time the quality just isn't there.

    Apple pecan chicken salad. DELICIOUS!!

I don't go to Wendy's very often since I try not to eat too much fast food, but me and the hubs were in the mood for a salad, so since we were about to pass Wendy's we decided to get a couple of salads to eat in the car. He ordered the parmesan chicken caesar salad, and I settled on the apple pecan chicken salad. My salad came with a pomegranate vinaigrette dressing. Let me tell you, that salad was delicious!! It truly hit the spot, and it was so fresh. The salad consisted of chicken, lettuce, blue cheese crumbles, apples, cranberries and sweet pecans. The salty/sweet combination, along with the perfect pomegranate dressing made this salad a winner. The portion size was hefty and it was good to the last tasty bite. I definitely recommend it. I downloaded the Wendy's app on my phone and saved $2.00 off the salad. ( :

I really felt I needed to hold off in doing a review until I visited a few times . The new bourbon bacon cheese burger is the best thing so far. The fries are hot and miss. Some are well done where as others are under cooked. Definitely not consistent. The service is mediocre at best. The greetings on the speaker are random. Today it was "Hey how ya doing?" Sometimes I actually get "welcome to Wendy's. Would you like to try our new____?" The other day I got, "what would you like?" They at least got the drinks right this time when I asked for no ice. Last time I asked for no ice and the receipt said no ice and they added lots of ice. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget meal and got home to find out it was spicy nuggets. Neither of us eat spicy anything. When I pay and then get my food/drinks there is no "Thank you", "Come again" or anything. Very flat affect from all employees.

I stopped in to grab some lunch. The dining room was closed so I had to go drive thru. The drive thru actually went quickly. The cashier was friendly. She got my order correct the first time. Wendy's met my expectations today. I ordered a Parmesan Chicken Caesar Salad. The lettuce was really fresh in the salad. They remembered to include the toppings and dressing with the salad. Everything with my experience today was A-Okay.

If I could give zero stars I would, this particular location will have you waiting in line for over 30minutes. I'm under the impression the employee's are doing this intentionally. When I finally get to the window to pay for my food the employees are typically sitting down on their phone watching a movie, not friendly, not fast, and not doing their job. After receiving my food, of course it's cold! I would not recommend this location to anyone. The line was much longer, however customers were tired of waiting so long.

On a Sunday evening, I arrived to the restaurant at 11:14 and waited over 45 minutes in the drive thru. As I approached the drive thru window to spot 2 workers not wearing their mask. One worker was preparing beverages and the other worker was accepting payments, bagging food and handing completed bags to customers. I asked both workers why weren't their masks on and they stated "why did it matter".

Drive thru was quick. Forgot my honey mustard and put too much mustard on my burger. :( Fries kinda seemed a bit undercooked?

Just had my first decent interaction at this Wendy's. And in university city after 11pm, that deserves 5 stars.

Sometimes simple of the way to go. Lettuce, American Cheese, tomatoes, crinkled pickles, onions, and their "good good sauce." This all came together with the 100% premium angus beef (antibiotic and hormone free) smash-burgers perfectly cooked. The fried were very good, nicely crispy, but not overdone. Service was friendly and very quick. I highly recommend this place if you want a great burger.

Optimist Hall itself is a very food-centric, upscale food hall with a ton of vendors, so the atmosphere is energetic and fun. Seating can be a little challenging during peak dinner hours since so many people are grabbing food from different spots, but when the weather is nice there's plenty of outdoor seating. Harriet's keeps their burger formula refreshingly simple. It's a classic smash burger done right--made to order with a straightforward menu that doesn't overcomplicate things. There's usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly, and the burgers come out hot and fresh. One of the best parts of eating here is the flexibility of the food hall experience. While you're waiting, you can grab a craft beer, a glass of wine, or even browse for dessert from one of the other vendors. Insider tip: Come with a group if you can. It's a great place to share fries and let everyone explore different vendors around the hall. Parking is fairly easy with the nearby garage, which makes the whole experience even more convenient. Overall, Harriet's is a fun, delicious stop for a smash burger, especially if you're already enjoying the energy of Optimist Hall.

As a West Coast transplant now living in Charlotte, I have very specific standards when it comes to…read moreburgers. For me, the gold standard isn't fancy -- it's balance. Think that perfect meat-cheese-bread ratio you get at an In-N-Out: not too big, not too messy, not dripping everywhere, but still juicy and satisfying. A burger you can actually pick up and enjoy without resorting to a knife and fork like George Costanza. That's why I appreciate Ace No. 3. Their menu is refreshingly simple -- burgers, fries, shakes -- and that simplicity tells me they know exactly what they do well. Everything is made to order, and the consistency shows. The Ace burger is my go-to, and it delivers every time. The shoestring fries are excellent, and the sweet potato tots are another favorite. I've also treated myself to a milkshake here and there, and they're worth it. Fun bonus: they offer "boozy shakes" for adults, which adds a playful twist -- just note they have to be enjoyed on site. They also keep a short, rotating list of beers, which I appreciate. It's curated, not overwhelming. One thing I noticed recently -- and as a fellow marketer, I have to applaud this -- is their milkshake happy hour from 2-4 PM. That's a smart strategy to drive traffic during slower hours between lunch and dinner. Simple, effective, and well executed. A few practical notes: Parking can be a little tight because the lot behind the restaurant is small, but if you go during off-peak hours or order ahead for pickup, it's manageable. The Belmont neighborhood location is easy to get in and out of, and while it's not a high-traffic pedestrian area, that can actually work in your favor. Bottom line: As someone who grew up with West Coast burger culture, this is the closest I've found in Charlotte to that classic, satisfying bite -- even if it costs a bit more than In-N-Out. The quality and execution make it worth it. Get out there, eat well, be curious -- and follow me as I continue eating my way through Charlotte.
