This Wendy's location, at a very busy corner in Centralia, is just alright. Located just off I-5 and near the Outlets, is usually fairly busy and serves up decent Wendy's fare. I've been there a number of times and service is generally good. The staff are kind and do work hard, being as efficient as possible and getting the orders right. I'm not exactly sure why the quality isn't as good as other Wendy's I've been to, but alas ... My go-to order is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and fries. Most of the time I've gotten it here, the chicken is fine but the bun is kinda soggy at times and the mayo and lettuce is not as much as other places. The kids always get burgers and they love them ... so that's good at least. Other positives are that it's usually clean and the condiments counter is fully stocked. So, all in all, it's okay. It's Wendy's so you pretty much know what you're going to get, being a nation-wide chain, but it's just average compared to others around the country I've been to. read more

Needed a little snack for the road, so we stopped by here to get some Spicy Nuggets, and got to try the new Orange Dreamsicle Frosty. The Spicy Nuggets were hot and fresh, and my bf got the medium Frosty, and apparently, it wasn't big enough for him. He really liked it, and finished it real quick. When I went here the other day, so my grandmother and husband could try the new frosty flavor, I thought well it would be great to get 3 smalls. We always (for several years now) have bought the frosty keychains because when we want a small simple treat it makes it quick and easy and etc. Anyhow over the past several years it has NEVER been an issue to use the said keychains to try the "special flavors" such as the Dreamsicle Frosty. And in the past they have always used the keychains to cover the cost. We always buy 6 keychains which allows for 3 small frosty drinks. Anyhow we went through the drivethru to be told that it was not covered by the keychains. That we have to "Pay" $1.00 per keychain for the new Girl Scout Mint Frosty. Which would mean that we would have to pay the 1.29 per "keychain" plus 1.00 and then they deduct the 1.29 for the said keychain costing 2.00 per small. After you already pay for the keychains. Anyhow we just bought the 6 keychains at new years and was never informed that they wouldn't cover the costs of the frosty drinks offered or that their new rules would disable being able to get the specialized flavors in 2025. This is false pretenses from Wendys since in the previous 3 years (22, 23, & 24) you were allowed specialized flavors at no additional costs. Now for the more frustrating part of this visit... The worker said it would be an additional 1.00 but never clarified it was 1.00 per keychain until she was charging my card. Then it was clarified it was 6.00 not 3.00 which was an issue in question because I knew our Medium Fry and 3.00 would be under 6.00 and when she was running my card she stated 9 something as my charges due. If you are going to charge customers the specialized flavors... 1. Be upfront when they are purchasing the keychains that is supposed to cover frostys (which by the way no where on the keychain does it say anything about specialized flavors being voided). 2. Be upfront about the charge for the "upcharge" being per keychain ... don't just say it would be "1.00 each" when you know the customer ordered 3 small frosty, that "1.00 each" comment would mean 3.00 charge, not 6.00 charge that I was charged. 3. Don't be rude or disrespectful to a customer because you as the employees are tired of dealing with customers being frustrated about this "change" that was not clarified to us as the customer when we purchased the keychains in the first place. 4. AND WENDYS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR DOUBLE CHARGING CUSTOMERS FOR FROSTY DRINKS! I for one... am not going back to wendys... they lost our business. Shady as fuck for business practices and well to be straight... I bought girlscout cookies and made our own version of our frosty with my Ninja Creami and it tasted far more outstanding than your "girl scout thin mint sauce" you over charge for. And the burgers we always bought we can make better at home, and well... to be honest... when you go out to grab food ... it is for convenience not to deal with attitude! read more

The service was friendly, but the entree (chicken wrap) was mediocre. And their drink machine had no soda except for root beer. The best thing I can say is that the fries were tasty. But I would not go back because of the missing soda and the mediocre entrée. read more

The manager Chris took our order and was not exactly rude on the loud speaker but his voice said otherwise, sounded like he was about to have a mental breakdown with each question, sounded psychotic. I have never heard something like that before. I have never had an issue at any other wendys, in fact it's the one I never usually have issues with. When we pulled up to the window the manager Chris was on the phone with someone and freaking out saying how he can't take this anymore. I usually stay away from the lunch rush, But in the evening the drive through service is outstanding and the food is always fresh. The chili is to die for and the chicken is 100% real whole meat, and so is the 100% ground beef (no pink slime added in Wendy's beef.) The website said they're open until one am. I pulled up at eleven forty, and waited there for five minutes in the drive thru, without anyone even acknowledging me. I drove around the front and saw a person inside, then drove around to the drive thru again, and saw another employee taking out the garbage, while a new customer was awaiting a voice on menu screen . It would have been nice if someone could at least said hey we are closed, so no need to waste your time waiting here, but instead both employees just ignored the customers waiting in the drive thru. Avoid this Wendy's. I had the most frustrating ordering experience this afternoon. First I felt rushed and second the drive thru attendant didn't once ask if I would like to add anymore food. I first ordered my husbands food then was going to place mine and my son's. Once I got my husbands order in she quickly told me my total and which window to go to. I then told her "I'm not don't yet." Ordered my food and then she did the exact same thing to which I said "I'm not done ordering yet." Having JUST had a bad restaurant experience at the new Azteca next door, my family and I set out to Wendy's for what SHOULD have been a predictably perfect Frosty. I even said out loud while entering the drive thru....,"I have faith in the Frosty to make me feel better!" So we order 2 med Frosties and my husband gets a vanilla Frosty(aka...vanilla ice cream). What do we all expect from a Frosty? Chocolatey-Little malty-cold-and THICK!!! Right? Well, my husband gets his vanilla....and it's obviously soft serve vanilla. But both of the Frosties handed over, were literally vanilla soft serve blended with Hershey syrup and as soft as a shake. If I had ordered a shake, I'd have been happy. But I ordered a FROSTY! Speed was pretty good but the fries were cold so I asked if I could have some hot fries mine were cold. They gave me the fries back after 45 seconds and said be careful they are really hot. As we travel, I will often get a Wendy's salad (husband doesn't eat lunch). We stopped here and I got the BBQ chicken salad - and oh my goodness, it was the best I've ever had - good greens (not one spoiled piece!), chicken, and excellent dressing (which is standard). The WORST Wendy's restaurant we've ever been to! They are far more concerned about their speed of service rather than the quality of their service. We went thru their drive thru a couple weeks ago and they completely screwed up on our order and didn't even give us everything we payed for. We live in Rochester, and we're taking the food home to eat. The mistake we made was not checking the bags until we got home. When we got home and discovered we were missing part of our stuff, my husband got on the phone and called them. They did not answer so he left a message and asked them to call him back. After a couple days of not hearing back, I wrote a letter to the restaurant manager along with an explanation of what happened. I sent it off along with a copy of our receipt. It's been a couple weeks now and we've heard nothing back I highly discourage anyone from going here. They don't care about customer satisfaction and "making it right".
