Thank you Wendy's! Thank you for reminding me why I stopped eating your food, or fast food period! Not everyone who comes through drive thru late night are coming from a bar, some are coming from work! I visited around 0030 and ordered a baconator meal and a junior cheeseburger. When I got home it was just a horrible flashback of the inadequacy of the past! The junior cheeseburger was literally cool to the touch as was the meat! The baconator wasn't fresh at all, it was nuked! When you serve a burger the bottom bun shouldn't burn the customer's fingers! Oh and the condiments, like the ketchup and mustard shouldn't burn the customer's tongue! Egregious, Epic, pathetic, embarrassing FAIL!!! From now on, if it's not made at home, it's Southern Grill or the Little Chicken Burger! Those are the only 2 places I'm willing to spend $20 for a meal! I love Burien Wendy's. Employees are always friendly and helpful. The food is great (better then McDonald or Burger King) and you don't have to fool around with a kiosk. Managers are quick to correct any order errors. The store is always clean and well organized. And their advertised specials are really special. I love Wendy's. read more

Every single time my partner and I have visited this Wendy's location through the drive through we can't help but remark about what genuinely OUTSTANDING service they give! There's a gentlemen who works there (haven't caught his name but he has manager energy) who is super friendly and welcoming and always says it's nice to see us. It's pretty typical to go through a drive through and have at least one thing messed up or missing but that never happens here. They are a well-oiled machine and can bust through a long line quickly and precisely. But the most important reason why this Wendy's is so fantastic is 100% the customer service. My family and I don't generally do much fast food but when we do we come to Wendy's as the burgers are excellent for the price and the kid's meals, least right now have cool interactive art games and generally we find the toys provided thoughtful and engaging for our child. I have to give props to the guy who works the drive thru at the Burien Wendy's. I do not know his name but if you ever go here, you will know who I'm talking about. He's always cheerful, but not in an annoying way, and he's always talkative and happy to see you. Most, not all, but most fast food workers sometimes aren't the friendliest folks and I had to give him the recognition he deserves. The only thing that I have negative is that the app works for me four out of 10 times when I order breakfast it'll tell me lunch is not available let's try breakfast I won't put my order through. Wendy's is so weird. They have high-quality beef but their fries taste like crap. They're always too salty. But I digress, I've been coming here because the apple pecan chicken salad is really good. I also really like their unsweetened iced tea. Here's a tip- the value iced tea is only a dollar and it's refillable! Sometimes, some of the patrons can be trying, but there's nothing Wendy's can do about that. Example- the lady in front of us last time that was highly offended the guy didn't automatically offer her something free or discounted because she was a senior. She must've never worked a food service job because if she had, she'd know that offering a senior discount to someone usually means to the person "you look old." On the subject of senior discounts- there isn't one here- but you do get a free drink. The seats are nice and slightly uncomfortable, just the way fast food restaurants like 'em. My hot husband enjoys the spicy chicken sandwich and thinks it tastes reasonably good, considering the amount of calories it has in it (he's a dietician). My creepy, former boss at Godfather's (now Round Table) used to sit in this Wendy's and watch us after his shift was over. So, if creepy's your thing and you are interested in one of the Round Table employees, there's a window seat with your name on it. All in all, you can't lose with a salad (sans dressing) and an unsweetened iced tea. read more

I was on my 30 min. lunch from work, which is right down the street, less than a mile away. I had been wanting a Wendy's burger, the Wendy's burgere that you bite into and the lettuce crunches in your mouth and brings a smile to your face, for a couple days now and to my surprise I found this winner of a Wendy's. I walked in and there was a line of 5 people ahead of me. (I should've turned away right then). Well in between those people the cashier would disappear for about 2 minutes at a time and it's not like he was helpling cook, or with the drive-thru, or getting things for a meal because I counted 8 people behind the counter doing those things! So I don't know what he was doing...but it took me almost 15 mins to get my order in. When I got it in I was relieved and pretty excited to eat my Wendy's Cheeseburger with only lettuce and condiments on it. When i recieved my burger 3 mins later, I took it and swiftly walked back to my car so I could take it back to work and it. Well, well, well... my burger was cold, my lettice was a soggy mess of one piece, and it did not bring a smile to my face. Along with the worst fries I've ever had! They were a soggy mess as well...not even ketchup could save them. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed with this particular Wendy's. Every time my family and I visit this Wendy's drive-thru we usually get Matthew at the window/intercom. He is flat-out an All-Star!! Extremely friendly, very accurate in our orders (in fact he seems to always remember us and our ordering habits) and genuinely seems to love his job.
