"I needed a fast meal to show my team of 22 some appreciation, and even at 7:00 PM, Rinconcito Burien delivered! I called and asked for 11 party platters total (Asada, Al Pastor, and Chicken) to be ready by 9:00 PM. They didn't even hesitate--just a 'see you then!' When I arrived, I was greeted with a huge smile by the young man at the counter, and they even helped me load everything into my car. Amazing service, and more importantly, the team absolutely loved the tacos, rice, and beans. If you need to feed a crowd fast, this is the spot!" read more

My cousin introduced me to this taco chain here in Seattle and I think it might be the best tacos I've ever had. It's even better than the ones I had in Cancun and Texas ! Definitely have to try the El pastor tacos because the meat is well marinated and you don't even need to add anymore sauce to it . I also love this place because they have a self service bar where you can get your own sauce, radishes, pickled jalapeño and carrots, salad and limes . Not a lot of taco places have radishes anymore and I love to eat it with my tacos. I heard that not all location will have the el pastor so come to burien and try it out ! read more

El Rinconsito - Burien - El pastor - the best tacos - Mexican Near Me - Burien, Washington

Real Mexican food in Seattle? Yes! This place was recommend to me by close friend and it did not disappoint. I've traveled to Mexico and live in LA so I know Mexican food. And THIS is genuine Mexican food. Not only are the tortillas handmade, the salsas are made in-house. We tried the asada, carnitas and al pastor tacos and they were all tasty. The flautas were a revelation. And the deep-fried ice cream was enveloped in a coconut sauce. The food came out within 5 minutes. And the servers were very quick to deliver it. The restaurant itself is very easy to get in and out of and the patrons are friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely visit this place again. read more

The locations are always spotless and the service 10 stars. There always seems to be a staff person that is clearly managing the whole restaurant and ensuring quality control. Whoever these staff are, maybe they are the managers they are like the captain of a ship that ensures great service. It's hard to find this even with managers that manage fast food places. Some may wear the shirt and don't do much. This approach is really appreciated and the consistency is key. I honestly go out of my way to find El Riconcito's. It is way better than the many Mexican chains out there and the food tastes fresh, made from scratch, and really delicious. Thank you for making my belly full and happy. read more

This is a nice and quick Mexican spot that is one of my favorites in Burien. They have a very nice and welcoming staff who provide easy and fast service. Their carne asada is a little dry for my liking but on the right they have a help yourself to sauces, veggies, limes and radishes which make the best touches to my tacos. read more

I was trying to look for a decent taco place since both options were closed on sunday's. Also, always passed by this place and decided to give it a try. Honestly, it's a bit pricey. The quesadilla was my favorite more than the al pastor tacos and carne asada tacos. The Al pastor was a bit dry which was upsetting because it looked so tasty! The carne asada quesadilla was juicer than the taco. Tacos kinda tasted plain even with the salsa. I was unsatisfied. Although, it was good the quesadillas was consumed last because it made the whole meal better. They don't skimp on the cheese. Don't forget to get sour cream and guac for it. There's a self serve salsa bar which is nice because I often feel guilty asking for extra salsa . Service was nice, she helped us through the menu since it was our first time! Restaurant looked very clean even though there would be small rushes every 10 mins. Lots of seating if you are dining in. read more

You cannot beat the prices here. We came for take out and I ordered the pollo asado For two chicken drumsticks, rice, beans, and tortillas it was only $10. I was a bit disappointed about the lack of flavor and it was a bit dry. The service was quick but the ambiance was hectic with how busy they are. I would return but order the enchiladas instead. I got a bite of that was pretty standard. read more

I didn't realize that El Rinconsito had multiple locations throughout Washington. I have always frequented this location in Burien. My friend and I were deciding what we should grab to eat for dinner, and I suggested Mexican food. We shared the Combo #64 (6 tacos) and Combo #67 (burrito), which also both come with an Antojitos Favoritos Soft Drink. There is a parking lot, but it is fairly small compared to how many different seating areas are inside the restaurant. Luckily, this place is fairly close to my apartment, so it is easily accessible to walk here. read more

A regular "tacos/burritos" Mexican place. The food is tasty I didn't love the location. We enjoyed the food very much but the restaurant itself was brightly lit, very loud and cold (it was cold outside). It does not offer table service (you order at the counter then take a number) and does not serve alcohol (I would have loved to order a beer). The staff were very welcoming and kind but we could hardly hear each other when talking at a normal volume. This place will likely be a takeout only place for me. read more

Came to El Rinconsito for my first visit, to collect the 4 free tacos after a big Sounders FC win. The person at the counter didn't understand what I was asking for at first, but then proceeded to argue with me that the promotion was for ONE TACO per ticket. Instead of arguing, or asking for a manager, I just said forget it and left, and I am not likely to return for any reason. Why would I ever want to come back? Promotions are supposed to get new customer into your door. They don't work very well if you don't have your stuff together as an organization to support the promo, and your front line staff are not educated on what the promo is. Inform your staff. They need to do better as an organization. I will also note that I didn't want to have to leave a bad review on yelp to convey this information to the company. I simply wanted to send an email to someone on the leadership team or customer service, but they choose not to publish any contact information at all on their website (no phone number, no email, no corporate mailing address). The only communication they seem to allow is through Social Media, so if you don't have social media accounts, you cannot interact with them at all. read more

If you love eating gristle and spending the afternoon and evening on the toilet after lunch then this is the place for you.

El Rinconsito in Burien is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots. The staff is super friendly, and they have had quite a few people in the restaurant each time we've been there. I usually go through and rate each dish we try separately, but we've been there quite a few times now the list would be pretty long. We really like their street tacos. The 4 taco combo is a good deal even if you don't want the drink. The regular enchiladas have a delicious sauce on them and the rice and beans are great as well. Overall, we highly recommend El Rinconsito! read more

I'm glad I found out about this place. Authentic al pastor tacos, and they actually use a trompo! I was delighted when I first walked in and noticed that beautiful rotating top of meat and pineapple. I believe this is the only El Rinconsito location that serves al pastor. The al pastor was very tasty. It had a good amount of spice and flavor, and just enough charred bits. Salsa selection was good, and the salsas weren't too watery (I like my salsas relatively thick, while many places in Seattle seem to make them kind of watery). Good amount of pineapple, onion, cilantro. Always love the bit of grilled onion on the side as well. There's a decent amount of parking and a good amount of tables in the restaurant. Would definitely try this place out if you're a taco fan. It's not the easiest for me to get to being in Burien but it is worth the drive. First time came to El Rinconsito at Burien on Sunday lunch w my hubby. First we didn't know what to order so we asked the staff. She was kindly suggested us to try Al Pasto Taco 6 pcs plate. Tacos Al Pastor are thinly sliced pieces of marinated pork that make for the best taco. We shared one plate together ate it, but we were full. Taste good and you can also choose one drink and put it yourself. At the self-service area, you can get as much salsa, hot sauce and pickles as you like. Good service and good food here! read more

Order your food ahead of time since sometimes this place can get busy. I had ordered my meals through Uber eats and within minutes my order was ready; as i walk in the cashier asked if i was picking up and she immediately handed my bag of food. I've had their burritos several times and it's always consistent in portion sizes and the ingredients taste fresh. They are generous with including the fixings like the grilled jalapeños, onions and pickled carrots. Their burritos are not overly greasy or messy; they are tightly wrapped and nice in presentation. While a tad expensive, i highly recommend including sour cream and guacamole for that extra umph. Don't be shy about trying alternative proteins besides the popular asada. I've had their chicken, lengua and tripa and they are each equally tasty. Certainly a good spot to go to for late night cravings. I'll definitely come back soon to try their churros and tortas! read more

This place is the bomb!! Being from California I was looking for an authentic type taqueria and this place hits the spot! The gentleman that took our order was so gracious. We ordered a few different items and I was very surprised with how quickly our food was ready. They have a great selection on their menu - tacos, burritos, plates, soups - as well as a selection of hamburgers. Don't always see that at a taqueria! The price point is reasonable and the service is excellent. There is ample seating inside the restaurant and customers were spaced out at different tables eating their meals. However on this occasion we ordered to go (carne asada burrito, chicken plate, and fish tacos)- and the food held up well on the drive home. The burrito was a huge a hit. I highly recommend trying their tortillas - they are the real thing! Looking forward to my next visit!! read more

Order online for 5% off. I ordered before heading over and order was ready pretty quickly. Food was solid, no complaints for the price. Don't leave without getting some salsas from the salsa bar on the right hand side of the counter. The workers didn't tell me about this but I'm glad I asked if salsas were included in my order. I liked the birria tacos but could have skipped the steak. The steak was a bit tough and dry. read more

Now, THIS is what I'm talking about! I had to redeem myself after that not so good experience at Jony's a couple of mornings back. In retrospect, I realized that Jony's has a captured audience: It's a stone's throw away from 2 major hotels and in review, I remember that the patrons were of a certain creed yet not from Washington. In other words, Jony's is a Mexican lunch breakfast spot with the only Mexicans being in the kitchen. And their togo items are in styrofoam?! You know...that stuff that doesn't degrade for 100 years! Who is not bio conscious in today's environment?! Anyway... El Rinconsito is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Washington. They greet you with a smile and a hello. The place is always clean. My usual order is a carnitas burrito, which comes with a mild roasted pepper and a roasted pepper, a roasted onion on the side, and is delicious. My fiancee usually gets the 4 carnitas tacos that include a soda with a choice of a variety of flavors. This morning, for the first time, I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito, which included fresh chopped smoked bacon, russet potatoes, cheedar cheese, scrambled eggs, salsa, in a flowered tortilla. It was hot, It was fresh, It was juicy, delicious, and very satisfying! I'm figuring out as a rule of thumb, eat at ethnic places where the patrons are ethnic. After all, they know what good food is in their eateries and communities, right? read more

For ambience better location than Bellevue, For taste just as incredibly tasty. I think the area may just be bit out of the way for most King county folks living on eastside or seattle area No fuss no fanfare, great street tacos at insanely great prices for the quality. The review should end but i will keep goin...hehehe Their masa is great for tacos and because people come here so often you almost always get fresh tortillas. You can the lady roast it fresh right when you order. it is just perfect. You get fresh radish slices 4 5 types of salsas...but the meat is sooo delicious. I have tried their fish tacos, spicy pork and they were great too but my favorites are chicken. These are street tacos so dont expect coleslaw and cheese. Just enjoy the authentic street styles tacos with onion and cilantro and jalapenos. Besides their mulitas are good too but I am not a big fan of jack cheese with street taco style meat. Not a big fan of gorditas and torta. I feel they are too bready. You do get decent spicy enchiladas here as well. But if you are going here for first time GET TACOS. read more

Karaoke machine, check. Drinks, check. Tacos? It was Friday night and I volunteered to get tacos for a par-tay. I've been to the Rinconsito's in Renton, Tukwila, and Kent. The Burien location was by far the busiest one I've ever been to. The taco shop's parking lot was full. Dine in tables were all occupied. Food delivery drivers were constantly coming through the door. To-go customers waited patiently for their number to be called. The kitchen staff was cooking up a storm. That's a good indicator of freshly prepped food cuz nobody really wants something that's been sittin' under a heat lamp for hours. Brought the tacos to the party and all the tacos were eaten. read more

El Rinconsito in Burien is open until the wee hours of the morning on Friday and Saturday nights, making this the perfect post-club place to grab a bite of grub. In our case, we were coming here post-soccer match and heard that the Al Pastor tacos were bombbbbb. They weren't kidding. The Al Pastor is on a rotating spigot, topped pineapple (how it's done in Mexico City). El Rinconsito also had quesabirria tacos that are the best I've tried so far since moving to Washington earlier this year. The restaurant is clean, service is fast and friendly! read more

I've only been to El Rinconsito a few times, but it is now my favorite Mexican place! The food is authentic, the prices are affordable, and the staff is extremely nice. Apparently this is a family-owned business with 14 locations in Washington state. They started with a food truck in Kent, but Burien was their first brick and mortar location. This restaurant is really easy for us to get to and they have a parking lot. El Rinconsito is definitely a casual place. It is kind of like an upscale Taco Time. You order your food at the front counter and sit down. Someone will bring your food to your table and someone will clear your table when you are finished. It is always busy when we go there, but our food never takes that long, which is amazing. The menu is huge. They have mainstream Mexican food like tacos and burritos, but they also have rarer dishes like pozole and menudo. They also have some stuff that I've never heard of! I recommend the tacos with carnitas (fried pork). You can order 3 - 6 tacos or the taco plate, which is three tacos served with rice, beans, and pico de gallo. Don't forget to visit the salsa bar! My husband likes Enchichimi, which is an enchilada and chimichanga with your choice of meat and served with rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole. For drinks, they have a fancy Coke machine (with tons of drink options and fruit flavors). They also have several Mexican drinks like Horchata on tap (I've never seen that before!). You can also get a bottle of Refresco Favoritos. We really enjoy going to El Rinconsito and we also look forward to checking out some of their other locations. read more

Found a long long long strand of hair‍ in my burrito as I was telling my husband this was best burrito they've made this time. Do I keep eating there? Idk After brushing and cleaning my mouth it still feels like I have hair in my mouth For reference we've eaten here more than a dozen times and order from the app, so I've probably eaten a whole head of hair by now and not know until today.
