Absolutely atrocious service. There is no differentiation between the "mobile" ordering line, and the walk in customer line. Total confusion, grinding halts due to constant mixups in mobile orders. Seriously why even let people walk in if this mobile ordering is going to take constant priority. Understaffed, dirty, and have been on line for 45 minutes, as mobile customers just cut the line with impunity. Rap music blasting, and the "n-word" being said in every other sentence by staff. I don't even know where to begin, the line was long as usual so I wasn't surprised, but after ordering and receiving me and my friends food I discovered a raw fry which had me questioning how well the rest of the fries were cooked. As I took it back with the proof of the raw fry to get a new order they refused to give me a new one, I did not ask for money back just a new set of fully cooked fries. Also the man at the register was flirting with my friend, which wasn't a big problem, until he started calling her names & when asking for her name instead of putting her ACTUAL name he puts a nickname that he gave her on the spot. I don't think it is at all appropriate for the workers to be flirting with the customers, especially after seeing how uncomfortable she was. Wendys is my favorite fast food restaurant, because Dave Thomas is always going to be cooler than Ronald McDonald or that creepy Burger King king. You can smell the burgers from across the street at this location. It is next to the shore though, so sometimes it'll smell like burgers dipped in saltwater. Only complaint is the restroom. One of the owners of this establishment is an unbelievably crude and obnoxious person. When I was at the front of the long line and a thug cut the line I obviously had no Choice but to say something as anyone else would in a similar situation. The one owner of this franchise started calling me names then promptly stormed off before I could respond. The other people around me actually started say what a jerk he is. The only shining grace was the other owner who told the employee serving me that my meal was to be comped. After I got the free meal it just didn't taste as good as it used to it actually it left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I really like wendy's and this is the closest one. I just can't stand the thought of the jackass owner getting even one cent from me. The reason for the one star is also because while I was waiting for the free food I was able to speak with the employee and I was told that that particular owner is extremely difficult to deal with he abuses the staff. I ordered my food and ate at the restaurant and it was wonderful. This Wendy's is great. What can I say, it's hygienic, the service is friendly, and the food is awesome. This Wendy's tends to be crowded, so hope you don't mind with the several minute wait. There are always lines, but everything else is excellent, which overcompensates for the wait. The management is really, really friendly, definitely not your typical Brooklyn fast food. It is conveniently located to a bunch of stores such as Modells and Best Buy. The food is generally amazing. They have a fairly sized array of selections to choose from, all great. Definitely a place to eat at, the food also fits well with the service. Pretty, pretty good food. The food never disappoints, but I find the prices to be a bit higher than what I'd consider to be a fitting price. Not for every order- it's just that every now and then, there's this burger you want that's a dollar more than what you would consider good. But again, the food is amazing, so I think this is fitting. The hygiene? Definitely one of the better fast food restaurants in the hygienic game. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, and plenty of convenient free parking. Keep in mind that this is a fast food establishment, and fast food establishments don't have a good reputation when it comes to hygiene. But this one definitely surprised me with their hygiene. So far, so good. Now onto the service. The service is just plain awesome. Lots of emphasis on that. They are friendly and never disappoint. You will probably never run into an employee that is even a tiny bit off the hook. They are always on point. Really astounded me when I first ordered here. Between McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's, my vote goes to Wendy's! Wendy's definitely has the best food amongst the three chains. Their fries are the crispiest and have the right amount of salt. McDonald's fries are limp and soggy (yuck!) and Burger King's fries, while crispy, are stale. Wendy's chicken nuggets are actually good tasting while the ones at McDonald's and Burger King are just plain nasty...Wendy's burgers are also better and seem more innovative than the generic ones at the other two chains. In my opinion, Wendy's offers a greater variety of better food than the others and is definitely my go-to! I've been coming to this Wendy's ever since it opened (yeah I'm old lol) because it is like a 5 min. walk from my house and hasn't disappointed me so far. The service here is variable because all of the employees are seasonal workers. However, I do not recall ever experiencing any rude servers here. The seating area is also generally kept very clean and there is rarely ever any crumbs/garbage on the tables. I would say this Wendy's is more spacious than other locations so that's a plus. As already stated, I usually get the fries and chicken nuggets here and they are consistently good. I also like getting the plain baked potato with sour cream (yum!) I would suggest getting the plain baked potato since the bacon/cheese one costs $2 more and you can easily add meat on the plain baked potato at home for less than $2. Also, the cheese is artificial tasting and did not appeal to me at all. This Wendy's will definitely be my go-to for fast food and I look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu! read more

After hurricane Sandy hit the whole shore, Wendy's had to go through a reconstruction period. I really enjoy the new modern decor they have at this place. No more of that late 1990's ugly fast food joint aura. It's fresh, modern and totally chill worthy. They even have wifi now! (score!) I always order my chili along with a baked sour cream and chives potato and this Wendy's serves it right. It gets super packed during lunch and dinner hours so waiting in line can be a pain in the arse but it's not that bad once you get use to it. I don't come here much since I rarely go near Caesar's Bay but if I'm hungry and craving "old fashioned fast food", I'd most likely definitely come here. read more

This is the busiest Wendy's I think I've ever seen. They have a walk-up pick up window and you can take an order out to go. A couple of things I liked: 1. The service -- to take and complete your order was fast. Inside, they yell "Next order up!" and folks take head. The young lady who appeared to be the manager -- for me at least -- was a reason to come back all by itself. But that aside, the speed of the order was excellent. 2. You can swipe the ATM/Credit card yourself. That takes away a worry I have about credit card safety at fast food restaurants. 3. The long lines means heavy turnover of food. So your food is not sitting around. 4. There's parking in the shopping complex. 5. There were like 50-80 folks at the Wendy's at 11 p.m. on a Tuesday night. So you will feel safe and secure. I tried to explain to my spouse why we don't come to this one. This one is crazy busy inside and randomly closes early, no booths are ever clean, and the food is random. There is no drive-thru, and the walk-up window is a bizarre place where the employees can give attitude to the 2 - 20 people shivering outside the window who just want a hot meal. He wouldn't listen to me today, so instead of driving an extra 30 minutes out of our way to hit the 4th and 86th one on a Saturday night, we went to this one. Traffic to get on the highway so so terrible that I'm not sure we actually saved any time. After freezing my butt off, I placed the first order of two. The person who wanted the food just wanted the 'regular' size. I was asked which size fries I wanted, I asked for the regular combo fries. I asked for a regular combo with a frosty but then we had to go through the size and flavor I wanted. I was warned if I chose 'regular' the frosty would only be small. I said, okay better make it large then. What she received was a Large fry and a small frosty. The second order was a large order, and I knew it would be a difficult one. But so much of the food we received was wrong or made angrily - the bun was hard as a rock and something was wrong with the meat on it, the fries stored with hot chili so that they were slick with steam, instead of caesar side salads we received side salads with caesar, no mayo was included with the JBCS no bun. The person hadn't heard of 'low carb' or 'served on lettuce' so by the time the order was corrected to have no bun, I think the people in the back had already made the sandwiches so they were angry about it. I forgot one item from the order and had to come back and place a third order. They wanted to put all the orders together in one bag which was a major inconvenience for us, but I was trying to be as nice as possible and so I agreed. I tried to be super polite and respectful, and apologized again when we left for placing such a hard order. The window person just agreed 'Yes it was hard'. I hoped that being polite and trying to be clear about the order would help us get decent food but enough of the things were mis-made that it seemed intentional. We spent about $35 so I do believe some people make larger orders - this was food for 3 - 4 people. It seems like an amount that should be okay to order. When I make small orders here through the Walk-Up Window the staff still seems angry, but you're more likely to get the correct order. Unfortunately, you have to call to complain and I hate phones, wish you could do it online. If you have to go here, I understand. I'll be back too, no choice. But if at all possible, make it several small orders. read more

My favorite burger joint. This location is situated next to Bensonhurst Park, and it's pretty big. They serve delicious burgers, except for the Baconator, which, doesn't taste too good, rubbery style bacon, yuck! But their baked potatoes are good, as well as their chili, and of course during the hot summer months, the Frosty...chocolate frosty...yummy! I simply love Wendy's from their speedy friendly service, as well as their always delish burgers. It is part of the Caesars Bay shopping area so you have your Kohl's, Best Buy, Modell's, Toys/Babies R Us customers to contend with and its right off the Belt/Bay Parkway and near the Verazanno so no wonder its busy like it is; but it is a very nice place. Used to be a Roy Rogers a looong time ago and like Roy Rogers, there is good food and nice people. Usually very orderly even when the lines are packed with people waiting for their order to take home. Since you are part of the shopping area, there is more than enough ample parking; plus there's a drive-thru. read more

I was in toys r us with my son and he insisted that we go to Wendy's. The line was herendous we must of spent at least half an hour waiting on line. However the food is very tasty. I must admit that I don't really care for fast food because I always get sick afterwards but I felt perfectly fine after eating here. I out something called the son of baconator, I guess its the smaller version of it and it was really good. The fries were OK. I am beyond disgusted. On Thursday, October 12 at 1602 Shore Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY I ordered a salad from Wendy's. While I was eating halfway through the salad, I found a DEAD FLY. I went back to the counter and showed the employee and asked for an exchange. However she laughed and said "you already are half of your salad." I am humiliated, I was thinking if I wasn't eating my salad, how am I suppose to find the fly hidden in between my lettuces? So I requested to speak with the manager regarding this situation and the manager said the same exact thing to me, but the manager did end up giving me a new one. So I took the NEW SALAD to go. However when I was eating my SECOND SALAD, I found ANOTHER DEAD FLY on the lettuce again!!! I cannot believe this. When you are hitting the shopping area of what used to be known as Ceasar's Bay Bazaar there are not really a whole lot of dining options. This Wendy's has been here for awhile now and is spacious enough to sit down and relax either after or before shopping. I keep my fare to the standards when doing Wendy's which is either some things from their $1 menu or a specialty chicken sandwich of the time. I've never really had a complaint about the quality of the food at this location which I consider to be always a good thing. Service in Wendy's overall is on the slow side though since so many things are prepared as they get ordered. I don't mind that either as opposed to burgers sitting under a heat lamp and drying out. There is also a free WiFi signal for those who wish to check in with Yelp, Swarm or do some Foodspotting. Oh yeah you can even keep up with your friends latest rants on Facebook but I generally prefer to do that when I am not eating. read more

The lines are always long, and if there not long then your still waiting to be called next for about 10mins because it's a bunch of kids working and there always fooling around. Today, October 18th, between 5 and 5:30 I went to this location for an apple pecan salad to take home. When I opened my salad at home, I noticed that there was mold all over the apples (deeply imbedded). To think that a food establishment would even think that it is okay to serve the customers expired and rotten food is absurd. Aside from today, their service has always been slow and the people getting food from the walk up window often double park their cars right outside (blocking the right turning lane for the belt parkway).
