    I picked my wedding dress Thursday I took It out of the bag like they told me. Only when I took It my venue the day of my dress was ruined, the beading on many parts of my dress came up, the rip on my back down wouldn't close, and I had one on my train, there was a piece of paper stapled to my dress. The top was completely loose, my bustle on my dress would not stay on. Paid almost 700 dollars for alterations my dress was ruined. My bridesmaids right before I walked down the aisle had to make my dress look like It was coming up. Very disappointed in all this. The girl who gave me my dress when I picked It up was extremely rude too

    This review is out of the ordinary, but I wanted to recognize Wendy's understanding and excellent service during our recent trip there. My mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness last year and one wish she had was dress shopping with my sister, who is in college and not yet engaged. We contacted Wendy's bridal to make an appointment and let them know the situation, and they were very happy to help. A group of us arrived for the appointment and the staff were all very friendly and helpful with getting my mom around in the store. They were great about suggesting a less busy time so we could enjoy the day. I can't remember who our associate was, but she was wonderful- all knowing that we probably would not be buying a dress that day. I will recommend Wendy's to any bride I know in the future!

    Kathleen was so nice to me. She was so patient and helpful throughout the whole process of my dress tryout. She had me tryout so many dresses of different styles and lines. She pulled many plain, bling, sparkly, form fitting, A-line, ball gown type, to appease the two people that came with me and to also help me figure out what I wanted for my wedding dress. I was a little stressed out because the mother of the groom can be a little bit overwhelming and judgmental toward the dresses. I had to discern what was best for me versus what she (mother of groom) wanted for me. I also didn't have my mother and stepmom nor my dad in the picture (They were all lazy, toxic and have been detrimental towards being apart of my special day). So it was very hard to try on dresses when family doesn't want be apart of your best day ever. Yet Kathleen was very nice about it kept me very calm and comforted. She did help me put my foot down letting them know that the mermaid and or super form fitting ones was not my style even when I said I hated it. The grooms mom was so obsessed about it, drove me insane about the mermaid/form fitting style dresses and it was just uncomfortable to deal with. I hated mermaid form fitting because it restricted my legs and arms. Eventually we were able to find one that everyone was super happy that had enough sparkle, bling, lace, a little form fitting, being able to feel cool, and yet loose to be able to move my arms and legs without any issues and be comfortable. I am truly thankful. She made the process for finding the perfect wedding dress smoother and easier than I thought it would be at the first store. It was off the rack and it was on sale and I loved it. Truly grateful and happy I made my first appointment here and got my dress and experience here at Wendy's Bridal. I definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was a very interesting and fun experience with what was all that was going on at once. I appreciate the patience that Kathleen had with the two people I had with me, I was expecting her to lose her patience, but she was totally cool with them.

    Large Green Stain on 'New' Dress

    When my daughter got her dress home, she found a green stain near the bust line. She immediately returned to the store and was accused of spilling something on it. The manager told her there was nothing they could do, as she left the store with the dress. She added each dress is carefully inspected by 6 or 7 people when it was received. We provided a closeup picture that shows the stain. We were told that picture wasn't taken at their store. We provided the same picture, that was zoomed out, showing my daughter on the store's pedestal. Every excuse denying all responsibility was used. She was referred to a local cleaner, who said they would get it out, for $150. They called when it was done, to pick it up. When she arrived, she was told they couldn't get the stain completely out and could try again. We didn't want to take a chance on ruining the dress, so we took it home. Several calls and emails to Lila W. produced nothing. Finally an offer to alter the dress for free, was not taken. We took the dress to our local seamstress, who found another huge twelve inch green stain underneath the dress in the back part. There is no way any inspection by one, let alone six, would have not discovered this stain. It almost seems as though we were sold a used dress! Customer Service is non-existent here. My daughter was treated like a liar and my wife was lied to several times, despite the proof provided with our own pictures taken in their store. Their treatment on all counts was inexcusable.     I came here with an engaged friend. I thought the shop itself could use a little renovation. It looks old and of poor quality throughout. And there seems to be little seating for friends and family, which I thought was strange. The staff was somewhat nice. The particular woman helping us was okay... I thought she could have been more enthusiastic. And in general, I thought Wendy's policies were are little strict. My friend and I went to her final fitting and, as it turns out, the dress needed one last alteration (3 weeks before her wedding date). Apparently alterations (regardless of the amount of work that needs to be done) require 2 weeks and steaming also requires 2 weeks. I inquired if it would be possible to pay a rush fee and that was not an option at this establishment, which I thought was strange. So my friend is forced to find her own steamer because Wendy's refuses to be rushed....strange. And the woman seemed to not care one bit about this inconvenience. I think brides deserve a better experience for the amount of money they drop on their dresses. This place is was uninspiring and generally a buzz kill.

    I felt very rushed picking out wedding dress. I did not appreciate that they did not tell me that you cannot cancel or return any dresses.

She helped me get changed into each dress and said how it honestly looked on my body. My wedding was only two months away, so I knew I was walking in with fewer options, but Dublin Bridal and Susan brought me plenty of quality dresses that looked great!! You walk into a bridal suite, with plenty of enough space for your guests and yourself! The bride (or bridesmaid!) goes behind a curtain with a stylist who helps you get dressed. They clip the dress so it fits you snug and you say what YOU think first, so you have your own opinion before your bridal party does! I loved that because it gave me time to think about what I actually DID like, or what I actually DIDN'T! They also make you feel special without pressure OR stress!! I am so happy I found this store, I immediately recommended it to a future bride based on my wonderful experience!

It had been a long…read moreday and I was beginning to feel let down because, while I liked many gowns, I still had not had the feeling yet that I had found "THE ONE" that so many girls experience. Roth asked me a few questions about my wedding, my style, and budget. He and Heather began to pull a few gowns for me and begin my room while allowing my guests to shop and pull dresses for me that they also liked. Roth started the process by putting my in a dress I would have NEVER PICKED, but he knew that the shape would look stunning on me, be perfect for my venue, and be the vibe I wanted. I instantly was floored. Roth showed me exactly how the dress would fit and clipped it perfectly. He added sleeves to show how we could customize the gown, pulled out a veil and flowers, while Heather was putting in clips in my hair, all the while making me feel like a beautiful bride. I looked stunning and I cannot WAIT to go back to try on my dress when it arrives. Roth and Heather took care of my guests, gave out champagne, and actually had us laughing and having a great time after what was an exhausting day. I still can't believe how beautiful I'm going to look on my day and it is all thanks to Roth and Heather. I got all the feels trying on this gown, and knew it was the one. Roth was an amazing stylist and many of my guests wished he was around when they were getting their dress! I would recommend White of Dublin to EVERY bride!!!

Staff were a little bit pushy about getting measurements taken and that sort of thing before I even decided that I wanted the dress. And I agree that they didn't seem give sincere feedback. Overall, I really regret spending the money to come here and would recommend other bridal shops (La Jeune Mariee or Wendy's Bridal) in Columbus over this one.

    I made an appointment online and was sent a link for their Lookbook. There was a spot to tell what you liked about each dress you selected. It seemed helpful, even if it took me a while to scroll through and make my selections. I arrived for my appointment and was asked what I was looking for and if I could show her a picture. I kind of expected a couple of dresses might have been pulled for me before my arrival, given my online selections and notes. She had me look through the store to see if there was anything I liked. I ended up not even trying anything on! I know I am super selective and had a unique color in mind, but what a waste of time! On a whim, I drove down the street to Wendy's Bridal, and I might have just found the dress!

    Let's start from the beginning. 1st appointment with Kylie (who is no longer with the shop). Went…read morein and asked about a few dresses that were on line. Pretty much any samples they had in store were not my size. Ok that is fine and normal for me. I tried on a few dresses to see how they felt etc. Came back another day to place the order. I got measured and ordered the dress paying what I expected as it matched the price on the site. I also questioned the size being ordered because I have never been that big of a size before. The sales person Kylie said oh it is designer sizes and they measure different. Fast forward to the dress coming in at size 24. I could have probably fit a small person in the dress with me. The alterations seamstress was immediately stressed and measured me saying a size 18 is what I measured. They checked to see if the dress could be re-ordered and here by the time of the wedding I am in. The designer could not get the dress in time. Seamstress says that they will take the dress in for free but I will have to pay for the hemming as size does not change the length. I disagree but trying to move on because it is what it is. Then the seamstress try's to place the blame on to me saying comments about my weight. This was when I started to get upset. But just kept it to myself. Then the seamstress says that when taking it in this much I will lose the pockets that are designed to be with the dress. The pockets were a major part of the selling of the dress for me. So the seamstress gets me all pined to take in the dress and hem the dress. Go in to my next alterations appointment. I express my disappointment in the pockets being gone and a different sales associate says well Kylie is no longer with us so there is nothing we can do about it. Cool. I put on the dress and it still needs taken in. Still quite big in the bust and shoulder area. Next the seamstress comes and pins the bust area and takes up the shoulder part as it is a one shoulder dress. I come in for the next alterations appointment hoping everything would be correct and finished. It was not. There was a huge gap on the side that did not have the shoulder strap. The seamstress recommended that we take up the shoulder strap to correct the gap. I agreed because I was going with the recommendation of the professional. Next alterations appointment come in try on the dress and the gap was still there. Talking to the seamstress she began to blame me for agreeing with her to just raise the shoulder to fix the gap. I said I was agreeing with the professional recommendation. So she huffed and puffed while pinning my side once again. Next and final time alterations text was sent. I arrived tried on the dress it finally fit. I asked why they don't steam a dress before leaving their shop with their name on it. The sales associate said steaming is an additional fee. I said it it fine I will have someone else do it. The associate rang me up for the $103 ish dollars for the hemming costs. I paid and expressed that I was highly unsatisfied with the service received at this shop and that they would allow a dress out of their shop with out being steamed. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dress shop. Between the blame of multiple things being pushed on to me the customer. Also the frustration of not bringing the dress I wanted home. No pockets, the one side the arm hole is tight and a dress that needs steamed. I have more work to do and pay for on this dress to get it how I want. Very unsatisfactory and I will not be back. I am sure I was taken advantage of on pricing but I just wanted to get some what of a dress I paid for out of this store. I just have to pay for pockets to be put back in to the dress. And somehow fix the arm hole being too tight or lose some weight according to the seamstress for the dress to fit me properly...

I'm not sure how I'm going to get them out! They don't have any kind of a discount and didn't offer one either. YOUR PRESSING PRICES ARE NOT ON THE WEBSITE PER YOUR ANSWER. I'd give a zero if I could! I received my phone call back. What a joke!! They are giving me a small amount back because that is their prices! You all saved the day for us and I cannot thank you enough!

I wrote to ART square before I hit the road last week and asked if they could help a traveling musician passing through (who didn't have much time in any one place). I got a warm reply, so I went by the shop in between obligations for the filk fest. As I began to describe to Sayah what I needed, I noticed that he had a oud (one of the most beautiful and expressive instruments I'm familiar with) leaning against the wall, and I exclaimed, "You have an oud!" Then I noticed he actually had two. His eyes lit up, and to make a long story short, not only did he do a beautiful job on my shirt, but we also got to jam out together! How often does a traveling musician get to have that little unexpected slice of awesomeness? Sayah and his wife Rania are from Syria, and even though I offered to learn a Syrian tune, he said, "No, I want to learn one of yours!" So I sent him a link to my song "Exodus," and he also added a beautiful texture to a Scottish song that I just threw at him with no preparation. We had an absolute ball. Sayah normally has a two-week waiting period, but he made an exception for me, which I was not expecting. He invited me to come back and play anytime I'm in the area. My deepest gratitude to him and Rania. Shukran, my new friends! PS. No need for alarm. The giant scissors didn't cut into my head.
