I went to Dublin's Bridal and I absolutely LOVED the dress I said yes to and the store! There were no doubts in my mind at all. I went to David's Bridal and Henri's, where I walked away feeling disappointed and gutted by the staff, selection, and pressure. Susan, my stylist, was beyond helpful! She helped me get changed into each dress and said how it honestly looked on my body. I really appreciated that she wasn't just a "yes person", it was obvious that she really cared about what dress I was getting. My wedding was only two months away, so I knew I was walking in with fewer options, but Dublin Bridal and Susan brought me plenty of quality dresses that looked great!! You walk into a bridal suite, with plenty of enough space for your guests and yourself! The bride (or bridesmaid!) goes behind a curtain with a stylist who helps you get dressed. They clip the dress so it fits you snug and you say what YOU think first, so you have your own opinion before your bridal party does! I loved that because it gave me time to think about what I actually DID like, or what I actually DIDN'T! They also make you feel special without pressure OR stress!! I purchased a wedding dress here that was 3 sizes too big. I was concerned about being able to do alterations but the sales associate assured me it could be done. After spending $800 in alterations, the dress does not fit me and the overall look of the dress has been affected. Stay away from this place. They just wanted to make a sale. Sketchy business practices. They don't stand by their product. Now I have 3 weeks to find a new dress after spending $2000 on one from here! You're better off finding the perfect dress in your size somewhere else or increasing your initial budget and spending less on alterations. I was definitely taken advantage of. read more

I had an bridal appointment with Susan, and she was INCREDIBLE! We looked at a couple of dresses and she asked and listened to what I liked about them and what I was looking for. We tried on a couple before I saw one that was pretty similar to the dress in my mind. It was a ball gown, and when I said it was not quite what I was looking for, she found a similar dress in an A-line style, which perfectly matched what I was interested in. She was very fun, friendly and professional and the dresses were all gorgeous. I went into the appointment nervous, but as soon as I met Susan, all my nerves went away. I had a great experience when I was looking for my dress and I absolutely love my dress that I bought. They gave me a goody bag with champagne and was patient as I tried on a couple of options. However when I came to pick it up I felt rushed and one of the lady wasn't as nice compared to when I first went in to buy my dress. I said that I wanted to look over my dress because right before you leave they have you sign that once you leave you accept the dress as is and the lady said "what is there to see? You already tried it on." I spent over $3k so I thought I'd thoroughly look at what I bought in case there was a manufacture defect or it accidentally got dirty but wasn't given a chance to. I highly recommend Dublin Bridal! I am a plus size bride and I felt there were a lot of beautiful dresses to choose from! From past dress experiences, I was very relieved to see there was a lot for me to try on! It made me feel so much better. This was my very first bridal appointment, and I was nervous. I had the sweetest consultant, Susan. She made me feel wonderful, cared for, and was so patient with me. I tried on many dresses and still picked the first I tried on! I didn't feel pressured or rushed. I was treated so kindly, and she was wonderful. I can't wait to see her again and pick up my dress! I'm so glad I had Susan for my consultant. If you buy your dress from here, DO NOT let them refer you to Vesna for alterations!!! Negative stars. It was a horrible, unprofessional experience. Over promised and underdelivered with my gown. After already going way over budget on a dress that was going to be my dream dress, they came up with a charge of $775 for a bustle, to take the dress up and add sleeves-which at our *pickup appointment had to be cut off of me bc they were so poorly made. And I was not able to move my arms in the dress at all (sending me into having a panic attack- from feeling claustrophobic), Bunches of fabric where it shouldn't have been around my upper arms and wrists, and tightened in all of the wrong places. It was a tool arm, not mesh like discussed. And yes, there were multiple fittings to get it right and tailored. There was also a hole in the elbow. I couldn't lift my arms above my elbows and the straps kept falling off. The seamstress was defending every decision instead of comforting me or giving me our best options. Then she stepped over to the fan in the room and put her dress over it to cool herself off before taking a seat behind me, as I'm holding onto the wall, so I don't faint. I'm trying to breath and am asking her if she needs anything.. water, someone to help her. Every appointment up until this visit (included) had been about how hard her troubles were and how busy she was, and I did not heed the red flag warnings, as she would talk badly about other brides being dramatic (Major red flag). She then left the room and the owner had to take me out of my dress. Her eyes were stone cold, as I had tears streaming down my own face. It was disconcern for me. All you read on Vesna's face was business and 'are we gonna get paid or have a problem' It was discouraging and I was so disappointed and heartbroken. My seamstress was nowhere to be found bc she left the building. After leaving without my dress and giving Kathy 3 days to get back to me on a timeline for when I can collect my dress, she reaponded back to my text, telling me that she was feeling sick and would work on it over the weekend and we could try to shoot for a day next week again. My wedding is in 17 days, and she has moved my appointments around 4x already over the summer. It should have never gone passed 3 months of alterations. Then to also find out that my dress, my property had left the shop during a pandemic to be transported to and from her home this whole time and also while she's sick, just did it for me. I kindly asked her to please let me have my dress back. I don't even care that it isn't finished, that I was done and needed to make other arrangements. I am out of time here, and she reminded me that if I do not pay my balance for the sleeves, that my dress would not be released to me. Luckily my mother and fiancé went to collect my dress and pay my balance that we would have later filed in small claims against for having a breach in contract. They got ugly and nasty and heated when my mother asked for the dress and veil back. Finally they released them, but it was a terrible experience. I have no idea why Dublin Bridal refers their brides who spend $$$$ on their gown there, but I know I'm not an isolated case. It is my understanding that the owner and her husband actually may own both shops (Dublin bridal and vesnas), so that would make sense. But Brides, so yourselves a favor and read the reviews and listen to the red flags. I've been trying to be kind and graceful through this entire experience and it has only shown me how much of a pushover I have been, bc I haven't wanted to be ugly or labeled a bridezilla, but accommodating others for your wedding is NOT what this is about. Let me just start by saying I found my wedding dress at this store and I do absolutely love the dress. However after the initial first visit things went down hill. I am out of state so I had my parents pick up my dress for me. When I visited them one weekend I was very excited to try it on and when I opened the bag it was the wrong color. It was a creek color and I specifically asked for white white white. I'm bot sure what happened. I don't even understand how my parents missed it. I called Dublin Bridal up and the lady on the phone was rather rude saying that the dress was my fault. I had to take it back and they told me that dress didn't come in the white I wanted. That's not what I was told when I paid close to 2,000$ for it. After taking it back I went back home (out of state) and received a phone call from them telling me that the designer has decided all of a sudden to make it in the white white just for me. He also waived all the fees. However since they would have to keep the messed up dress I would have to pay 300$. Yes that's right there mistake yet I had to pay for them to keep it. It took about 6 more weeks until I got the next call to come pick up the dress. So I took another weekend trip for the dress to make sure it was placed in my hands and was the right color. I was told to come at 5:30. When I arrived I had to sit and wait 45 minutes before they would see me because another brides appointment went over. Thankfully they had fixed the dress and it was the correct color. The lady that was there for my appointment made a rude comment once again about how it was my fault that the color thing even happened. Why on earth if I wanted a white white dress would I even let you show me a dress that only comes in creme. They made a huge mistake and never owned up to it and I'm out an extra 300$ thanks a lot. As amazing and unique the dresses are at this store I suggest saving yourself the heartache and stress and going somewhere else. I also have another acquaintance that went here for her dress and the same thing happened to her. Lucky when she heard my story she caught them Right before her dress came out the wrong color. read more

I went to Dublin Bridal with a friend to shop for her wedding dress! I shop at the Kroger in this plaza all the time, but I just noticed the sign for Dublin Bridal last week. They're hidden behind Swan Cleaners in a small, but beautiful shop. They have a huge dressing room with mirrors to catch every angle and a great seating area for guests. We were offered a choice of drinks - water, wine, mimosas or champagne when we walked in and we gladly accepted a mimosa. They also had a cute little tray of macaroons out. The staff seemed very knowledgeable about their dresses and after a quick round of questions, pulled several dresses for my friend to try on. They have off the rack dresses mixed in with all of their samples, so be sure to keep an eye on the tags! I will say their selection is on the smaller side compared to other local stores like Wendy's Bridal. They don't have a huge variety of sizes either, most seem to be around the 8-12 range. I think they could easily maximize their space and add another rack of dresses. read more

I had the best experience I could have asked for at Dublin Bridal. My stylist ultimately picked out my dress after listening to my comments on the ones I had tried on. The guest seating was comfortable and semi private, the changing room/platform was very spacious and my stylist took time to let me try on everything I wanted to. We even tried on a dress after finding my dream dress to make sure it was "the one". I didn't feel pressured to buy anything out of my price range and my stylist made sure to keep that in mind when she chose pieces for me. I did have to go back to have my measurements retaken: but the owner wanted to double check some discrepancies between what I was ordering and what my measurements were. (I tried on an 8 that fit perfect but my measurements are closer to a 12 and my stylist didn't notice when I ordered so they just want to make sure everything is alright). Overall I'm very happy because they contacted me with this issue within the week of my appointment. I would recommend if you're looking for something more intimate than David's as there will only be two appointments at one time in the two separate dressing/viewing areas. They had a great selection and I didn't see any dresses over $2,500. These dresses are made to order so you won't be going home with the dress on the rack unless it's a floor model sale. You can call and see when these are going on to find a discount. I liked the peace of mind knowing my dress would be brand spanking new when it comes in. I would 10/10 recommend and ask for Anastasia if you can, she was awesome. read more

I looked at one other wedding dress shop before coming to DublinBridal. The other shop did a good job, and listened to what I wanted but Dublin Bridal went above an beyond! When I went to my first apt, I tried on 8-10 dresses. I was starting to get discouraged with both finding the dress yet. The dress I really liked wouldn't go over my hips and the rest never gave me that "feeling". Elizabeth - an awesome bridal worker there- had an amazing idea to put me in a dress that was a bigger size but had the same fit as the dress I really liked. I loved the fit, and when the held the other dress up to me, immediately started crying and knew it was the one. To make sure, they ordered the dress in my size, I went back and the dress was perfect for my wedding day! Elizabeth also does alterations do she was very knowledgeable about how we can make the dress fit me perfectly. I am beyond excited to wear my wedding dress for my wedding this December. I had a GREAT experience at Dublin bridal and would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect dress.
