We purchased our daughter's wedding dress in the fall close to 2 years ago because the stylist told us that her dress was being discontinued and we would have to act fast if we wanted it. Fast forward to prom season when I stop in with youngest daughter and that style is still there. Went back for bridesmaid dresses because we have a bridal party from all over the US but they all have a DB near them and I bring this up with the girl who sold us the wedding dress two years ago. Her response as? Oh! We never say dresses are being discontinued. Especially not this style so I don't know how that happened. When I told her to look at our account because she was our attendant, we never saw her on the floor for the whole hour we were there. Poor service, stylists who don't listen to customers and are dressed horribly themselves, and who frankly, downright lie just to get a sale. read more

Great experience! I went to David's Bridal today to look for a mother of the groom dress. (Note- I hate shopping and get very overwhelmed) My consultant was Dilia P. and she was very pleasant, easygoing and knowledgeable. This was my first stop and first time out looking for a dress. I'm happy to say that I found the perfect dress! The dress was in stock and in my size too!!!! No alterations needed! :) Since I was shopping in flat sandals, Dilia brought in a pair a heels for me to try on with the dress and I loved them so much that I also bought the shoes!!! I would literally give the sawmill, Dublin, Ohio location 0 stars if I could. I stopped in on a normal day, they were not busy at all and asked if I could look to get my mind made up on colors and fabrics before an upcoming appointment. I'm sure glad I did because when I showed up to my appointment with 7 bridesmaids to shop for their dresses. I was greeted with a pink haired attendant, Sharaya. If she's your attendant, ask for a different one. She literally ruined my experience of dress shopping from the moment she introduced herself. She asked me what colors and styles I had in mind. I answered. I have 3 colors, with 2 different fabrics and the girls can pick their dresses. Her response was "okay why are you wanting different fabrics and colors?" She then proceeded to ask my bridesmaids after less than 5 minutes if they had their styles picked yet. Mind you, the store was overloaded with people. It was like a zoo in there, and with very little size option in each style. My bridesmaids had to look at 5 different styles to find a dress they could even try on. She asked 3 times within 10 mins if we were ready to go try on. She then separated our group, I was trying to help girls find dresses and she took the rest to the fitting room area. When I joined them, she proceeded to once again try to talk me out of my decision for different colors and fabrics. Even pulled up a picture of a full collar boutonnière on a tux after I explained I am doing it for a reason because I have a bridesman and said I should just get his tie the same fabric as their dresses and then get one of these to match them all. I said I like the different fabrics and that's what I want, she continued to make the entire appointment and my whole bridal party uncomfortable by arguing with me. If I didn't have attendants in different states I would have walked out and would never give my business to David's bridal again. Wedding festivities are supposed to be great memories with your favorite people, so David's bridal should hire people to help make it fun, not incompetent people who can't find a job anywhere else due to lack of people skills and bad customer service. read more

So I know I bashed David's Bridal other location on Morse Rd. but I promise I won't do it to this location because, wait for it.... I got the dress here! Yes, I've been waiting till after my wedding to post where I actually found the dress. You might ask why? I didn't want many people knowing where my dress came from. I got a great deal on it but on my "big day" I wanted it to be a surprise what my dress looked like and where I got it. Turn's out everyone loved this dress I got and asked where I got it and they were surprised when I said David's Bridal. Since my original plan was to drive all the way to the "wedding district" itself in Cincinnati just to find my perfect dress. I changed my plan because of being impatient after trying on so many dresses in many other shops just in Columbus. So my patience got much better here because I seriously only had to try on 2 dresses until I found, "the one." When I found it the store lady I worked with who looked like Dolly Parton said, "excuse me David's Bridal shopper's, Tammy Rubin just found the most perfect dress for the most perfect man to marry, let's ring the bell for her." Let's just say that was the best introduction into my marriage because now I have a great story to tell for the rest of my life. You didn't even need David Tutera to be there to make that moment just special for me. Brides or bridemaid's I would highly recommend stopping in here because they have great deals on dresses during certain times of the peak seasons. I bought mine around March and my dress came in around April which is way sooner than I expected since my wedding was in July. My appointment was at 12, I was tears by 12:15 and out of the store by 12:45. Someone else commented that the place is a zoo. I have to agree. I was so overwhelmed by the party of six that was right next to my dressing room and the multiple people behind me. All I could feel were eyes on me and it was so uncomfortable. Thankfully David's Bridal was able to move me after we asked. I was hoping this would ease my discomfort but I quickly felt my stylist wasn't invested in hearing what I liked and disliked, she was just bringing things that were closest to my size, which is 18/20 in bridal. I've been to one other bridal store and I had a stylist that was invested, she asked questions, pulled dresses without asking, and she explained why she chose dresses for me to try on. Not only was she trying to make a sale, she made me feel like she cared about what I wore on my wedding day. Today, At David's Bridal, I did not feel this. I felt like an afterthought. read more

I was extremely frustrated when I came in for my appointment with my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids and I had an appointment at 9, and we had met with ellora. I was really excited all week for this appointment and even texting all my girls about this appointment. Well at the beginning of the appointment it seemed okay. Started asking ideas and what she thought she couldn't give us any. The one dress we wanted was completely out. Which was disappointing. So we were very fortunate to find a dress that we could use instead. Well she brought the bridesmaid dresses to try on, then she disappears several times when we need her to help other people for awhile. I have to literally hunt her down and find her. She says she will be with us in a few minutes. I made an appointment, why are you helping other people now when we need your help? So when we were waiting we got extremely frustrated. We wanted to talk about accessories and other things but this just made us not even want us to do that. We had to bring up talking about shoes and stuff. What even made me even more upset when I met with the manager in January I had expectations that my shoes I had liked was saved to my profile I could find it when I came back in March. Well fast forward to now there are no notes or anything. It was extremely upsetting too. I couldn't find the wedge I had fallen in love with a while back. I had to re find it online and ask if they had it. Luckily they had it in stock which was nice. But it just seemed like it was one thing after another that didn't really go right. It was extremely upsetting for me and my bridesmaids. We really tried to stay super cool about it but it was starting to upset us. Not sure the disconnect or what was exactly going on. My mother pressured my fiancé' into buying a dress here and this store location staff joined right in. After my fiancé broke down crying to me later, she called the store to return it less than 20 hrs after purchase, to which they denied her. The ladies here pressure sold someone into a dress that she was obviously uncomfortable in just to turn a profit. Buyer beware, they'll sell you anything just to get it out the door. EDIT: true to form and consistent with their lack of customer case, after being contacted by the owner(comments on this), my fiancé emailed them 2 weeks ago, to no response. I can't stand David's Bridal. I know it's the biggest name in cheap bridal wear, but there is a reason they are so cheap. You get what you pay for. We had a very large group of ladies who went to do both bridal shopping for our girl, and then shopping for bridesmaids dresses. You would think they would want to spend a little time with us all planning to purchase not only the bridal gown but 7 bridesmaid dresses and 2 mother of the bride gowns. haha, you're funny for thinking that!! They told us to arrive early with such a large group, so we could get some additional seating for everyone to sit while the bride was trying on gowns. We did, but the store was still locked. They wouldn't open the doors until the minute hand hit the top of the clock. When the lady did finally come open the door, she made some snarky comment about us being "eager" to get in. Once in the store, we were not able to get seating for everyone, and again, the sales girl made some comment about we shouldn't come with such a large group. When they finally get our bride put into her first dress....the sales woman disappeared. She said she had another bride to greet. When I finally went to go find her to tell her our bride was ready to be out of this dress, the woman seemed annoyed with us for bothering her. So then she was really annoyed with we had to do it again with the 2nd and the 3rd dress!! Luckily, our bride pretty much knew what she wanted so these were the only 3 dresses she tried on and she committed to one of them. All of a sudden, I think the sales person realized we were there to do business and it was at that point she started paying attention to us. So, now its time for the bridesmaids. Reminder, there were 7 of us. We were all there, ready to purchase dresses. Our bride knew what dress she wanted us to try so we all went and found our sizes, and tried them on. While we were in the dressing rooms, they brought in another bride and her group to sit in the place we were sitting! So, now, we are homeless and just standing in the middle of the store, with no where to actually see ourselves in a mirror other than in between 2 brides. Not only has our experience been ruined, but now these other 2 brides experience was interrupted by us. Needless to say, the moms didn't do any shopping. Fast forward....dresses purchased and picked up....As girls were getting their dresses, the texts started flying around the group. One dress has a hole in the chiffon, one is missing a hook at the top of the open back and 3 of our dresses are missing the eyes of the hook & eye at the top of our zippers!! One girl has an eye for her hook, but it is done in thread, rather than an actual clasp. Brides and bridesmaids alike...be warned. The dresses may be cheap(ish), but you will end up spending more getting them altered and getting things put in that should have been there in the first place. Not worth it. read more

Well I was a lucky duck to walk down the aisle back in 2009, so that meant that I had to find some fancy schmancy white dress to walk down the aisle with. Well since our wedding wasnt until October, and I had 13 months to plan a wedding, I figured that I would start with David's to find a dress. I had 'done some homework' ahead of time to see what kind of dresses they have in stock. I quickly found a few that I liked and would like to try on. When I had arrived at the store for my appointment, I was quickly sent over to the racks of dresses to look at and to pull whatever ones that I liked off to try on. After trying on at least a dozen dresses, I found one that I liked. (And here I panicked 9 months before our wedding that I woudlnt be able to find a dress!) I came back a few month later with my Mom and she found her MOB dress there too. Unfortunately the dress came in two different colors and this DB had the other one in stock. We ended up driving to another David's location in Dayton to get her size and color that she liked. And she looked like a million bucks!!! I found the dresses for the bridesmaids there too. I ended up taking my matron of honor with me to try on different styles as well as colors. I knew I wanted a deep purple color for the dresses, but wanted something that would make the girls look good too. Great experience here too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!!! read more

I recently visited this DB location to try on wedding dresses and it was a bit overwhelming. There were things I liked and things I hated. We'll get the bad out of the way first: Bad things: - It was a complete zoo in there. I had my appointment on a Saturday afternoon and it was mega crowded and there were people running around everywhere and bumping in to one another. It felt like pandemonium and made the experience feel very impersonal and stressful. - The girl I worked with was a little pushy for my taste. One of my friends brought a dress over from the $99 rack and she was outwardly miffed about it. It made me feel really uncomfortable which was only made worse when she left the door to my fitting room (where I was standing naked) hanging wide open over and over again. Thankfully my bride tribe would close it for me but only after I already felt humiliated. It was awful. - No seating for my people - they didn't have a lot of seating available and my friends and family were just stuck right outside the door and it made it very difficult for them to see the dresses I tried on and it made it difficult for me to see as well because there just wasn't any space. Good things: - They have a huge selection and they have really great prices. - They have a lot of availability for appointments, so long as you don't mind a crowd. - If you pick a dress there, you get to ring a bell and everyone claps so that's pretty cool. We recently visited to choose bridesmaid dresses. After a rough start, the manager apologized and really worked to make things great. Found us a great attendant to help us and then also helped us herself as well. From that point on I felt like they really tried to make it a positive experience. Overall, honestly, David's is not my favorite company, we've had negative experiences in the past and I feel like the quality is not as good as it should be, but I was impressed with the manager and our salesperson and they really worked to help us find something everyone was happy with. Unbelievably rude staff. Our "stylist" was clearly irritated by having to work with us. I glanced up to see her in the mirrors talking about us to another staff member. She was getting off at 4:30 and it was 4:15, so it was clear where her mind was. She made several rude comments to me and my mother while we were trying to pull dresses. I am shocked that they don't have a more professional staff, with some common sense and pleasantries. You're dealing with a very special time in someone's life, and this place just really put a nasty taste in our mouth. read more

Really disliked my experiences here. My first visit was for my own bridal gown search and while it's not the fault of any of the employees, their selection was just mind-blowingly similar. I felt like each dress was simply another variation of the one before it. I was underwhelmed yet allowed my stylist to pull a few styles to try on. Then the cringe-worthiness begins. The stylist insisted on helping me and crammed into the small fitting room with me. Then she handed me multiple shapewear garments and insisted I try my dresses on with them. I'm talking full girdle and a spandex skirt that encased me like a sausage down to below my knees. I told her I didn't need them (and mentioned I did fine without them at the two previous stores I had visited that day) and she still insisted it would look better with them. I knew I wasn't going to be buying any of the dresses she pulled so I (literally) sucked it up, put them on under my dress and waddled out to awkwardly spin in front of my horrified mother. I still get calls from them to check out their selection since I had to include my phone number to make a Saturday appointment. My second experience (this time as a Bridesmaid) was not much better. While my stylist was much friendlier and less aggressive with the shape wear, the overall services of David's in general is lacking. The dress I tried on and wanted to purchase had a broken zipper. Their solution was to give the dress to their alterations department, fix it for free, and then call me to come pick it up. No discount, nothing for the hassle. No thanks, I'll buy it online... and they frequently have discount codes. Except, surprise! The same dress was found at Macy's for $20 less. See ya, David's. *Will add that when I went back in for my bridesmaid dress their bridal offerings had improved IMMENSELY so I don't know what was going on when I was in there. read more

Worst experience of my retail life, thus far. This place is a ZOO! Way too many people crowded into this mundane space. I was hoping for a memorable day with my daughter, but this was a nightmare. Our customer rep, Aidyn, never greeted us properly, never once found a dress in my daughter's size, a 12, she bought us 16's and 18's, which just hung on her because Aidyn never helped her with clipping the dress, and never once gave anything close to a compliment. Update: raise the score to 2 stars. Credit to Miss Katie, who's the only one gave us smile at the store. Unfortunately, one star is the lowest score I can give. I wish I could give them a negative score. First, looks like there's no one is able to smile at you, at least no one smile to us. I don't know it's because of we're Asians or they just lack of the ability to smile. I understand they probably are extremely tired after hours work but that's your job to be nice to your customer, at least a smile will be a basic requirement to customer services. Not a stone face. Second, after check in, Lady A gave us a form told us to go find Lady B so someone will help us. However, Lady B sent us back to Lady A. We told her that A told us go to her, and B just asked us to look around. And it's been a while just like we are forgotten by them. Typical corporate mega chain garbage. They'll pretend to care about you, but once you hand over your money, forget about anything resembling customer service. My fiance bought her wedding dress here, as well as her bridesmaid's dress. All told, they spent well over a thousand dollars at this store. Yeah, I get it, a thousand dollars isn't the most outrageous amount anyone has ever paid for a dress; but to some people it's still a lot of money! You'd think that David's Bridal would want to take care of people who just plopped down a big chunk of their hard earned money. Nah... See, my fiance lives out of town, but since the wedding is in Columbus, and her bridesmaid lives in Columbus, she went to this store rather than something closer to her home. That was the first mistake. The process went fine until it came time for dress alterations. Then David's Bridal started hitting her up with all kinds of additional costs. Oh, and they require her to spend valuable time and money driving hundreds of miles back and forth from Columbus because they couldn't figure out a way to coordinate the dress alterations into a single appointment. Forget about flexibility. You know, David's Bridal is a lot like a funeral home. Both businesses deal with customers who are in extreme states of emotional stress. David's Bridal is a whole lot worse at it though. read more

I had a 3:30 appointment with David's Bridal on a Saturday to look at bridal dresses. We got there a little bit earlier and the women upon check in just told us to start looking around. No direction on what kinds of dresses were where, or where to put any dresses that I found that I liked. That's okay, I asked myself and started looking around. The way the dresses are set up are kinda overwhelming. They are crushed in side by side in plastic. You have to pull them out to see what they even look like. The was the only chain bridal store I went to and the only one that was this way. Maybe all chains are this way. My bridal consultant found me, introduced herself, and started gathering the dresses we were carrying around. We were put in the back in a small room. It was very uncomfortable with the consultant in the dressing room with such small quarters. They also only had 3 chairs set up for the 5 people I brought. The consultant started off kinda cool towards me and my friends and then warmed up a bit but turned into a total B*. She kept making snide remarks, asking "How many of these did YOU pick out?" I know they say not to bring so many people but they knew what I wanted and did not sway my opinion. After the dress shopping, we looked at bridesmaid dresses. One of my bridesmaids is very small with a larger top area, she asked what size she should get. The woman snapped at her to "honey, get the size that fits your biggest part, we can take stuff in but not let it out". I do not even think that is true. She also MADE them have their measurements taken before leaving, she claimed for "lawsuit reasons". The bridesmaid dress selection is good, and convenient. 3 of my 4 bridesmaids live in another state so using David Bridal is more of a convenience. We did pick out the bridesmaid dresses here. None of the wedding dresses really took my breathe away. Maybe I would of tried a little harder to look around but the sassiness of my bridal consultant really kind of just make me want to leave. She also kept pulling dresses that was nothing like what I told her I wanted. I will not be back for my Bridal dress. I found it across the street at Wendy's where the woman was awesome and helped me found the dress I want. read more

I went in to buy a bride's maid dress. Found the bridesmaid dress I needed to buy and thought I would kill two birds with one stone and try on wedding dresses for my wedding next year. I picked out 4 dresses I wanted to try on out. Told if I wanted to try them on I had to do 1.5 hours of paper work (by Amy maybe?). I then thought that is absurd and a counter productive way to earn my money and opted out of dress shopping here. What would any company need with an hour and half worth of information? If I buy a dress you get my money. My mindset is: You don't get my personal information and money, I am not applying for a job or handout. I am trying to buy a wedding dress. keep in mind there three (including me) shoppers in the store. The other one browsing and one just picked out her dress. I have had nothing but great experiences here. I got my wedding dress here with help from the lovely Kristina. You'll get the best experience if you make an appointment and go during the week instead of the weekend! I went back a few months later (without an appointment) to look at bridesmaid dresses with my girls on a SATURDAY and they found me a consultant and a room and were very helpful. I even got 20% for getting my wedding dress there! You also get a discount off men's tuxes at Men's Wearhouse if you get your dress here. And you are nuts if you go to a busy bridal shop on a Saturday without an appointment and expect a consultant's undivided attention. I didn't get my dress here, but we were able to get the bridesmaids dresses, and a few minor wedding items. The advantage is that with this national chain, your out of town bridesmaids can probably find a David's Bridal close to where they live, which makes it easier on them. We made a mistake by going there on a Saturday. It was pretty crowded and didn't have anyone really to help us. I guess thats our fault. But we did have one of the sales people there try to help us as much as they could. The selection just seemed to be slight variations of the same dress. read more

After hearing all of the horror stories about David's Bridal, I have to admit that my expectations were low when I made my appointment. I had found a few dresses online that were priced reasonably so I decided to take the chance and just pay a visit to David's Bridal. After only a few minutes in the store, I realized that all of my worries were for nothing. My consultant was Kathleen and she was extremely friendly, upbeat and helpful. She helped me to quickly find the dresses I had wanted to try from my search of the website and then allowed my mom, stepmom and friend to shop the racks and pull additional gowns for me to try. We weren't rushed at all and instead were shown the fitting room I was assigned and were able to head over that way at our own pace. Kathleen was attentive and complimentary throughout the entire appointment (without coming across as "pushy" or overly sales driven). I tried on approximately 10-15 gowns total and was very indecisive between my final 2 top picks. Kathleen (as well as all of the other employees within the store) was very patient and helpful, despite the fact that the appointment had run over it's allotted time. From the initial greeting to the final checkout process, my entire experience was nothing but professional, positive and painless. The sales/discounts they were able to offer me were fabulous and I am very happy with my wedding gown purchase and experience at David's Bridal. read more

For my own wedding, I worked with a bridal boutique and did not have the distinct displeasure of doing business with a store like David's Bridal. But for two recent weddings I was in as a bridesmaid, I got a front row seat for their nightmarish customer service. Long story short, they use lies and threats as part of their "notification" policy. Strange and pathetic. Strike 1: I was told I would be notified when my dresses came in. I was not. *lie* Strike 2: They called the bride and said they had called me two separate times and left messages but I never came for my dresses. The saleswoman tried to make me out to be some sort of villain who orders bridesmaid dresses and goes rogue. However, I never received communication from them (in any form) but they continued to place blame on me. When we confronted the staff in person, turns out they had no contact information for me on file...none. How did they make these two phone calls I never returned? The world may never know. *lie* Strike 3: They threatened to send the dresses "back." Not sure where "back" is, but it's apparently like a land of misfit toys, except for bridesmaid dresses that were never claimed by their irresponsible owners. And once they went back, you better believe you won't get them in time for the wedding -- they'll make sure of that. Again, when confronted about this part of their policy, they denied that they've ever done or would do such a thing. *threats AND lies* Anyway, I got my dresses and if it wasn't for the one sweetheart who pointed out that her coworkers were senseless (don't remember her name, but she gets a gold star), it could have been a lot worse. Adding my review here bc owner removes any negative feedback on Google reviews 2.5 stars. Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience even though we had a scheduled appointment. We were only looking for bridesmaids dresses bc I have my dress. On Friday before our Sunday appointment they called and confirmed. I verified all info including the 3 older attendants are my teenage nieces and the 2 youngest are age 8 and 10. I had described what I was looking for and was assured they had a nice selection. Our consultant was not ready when we arrived and we were told to just start looking. When our girl finally arrived she took measurements for them. She was extremely nervous and couldn't seem to keep any of the girls straight. Then when I asked to see items for the younger 2 they had about 3 to choose from. I found other items in a different section of the store by asking another customer. Our girl constantly left and helped others and would forget what we has asked. Also we had 5 girls that needed to try on and 1 tiny dressing room and the store was laid out horrible for trying on and having a group. They need to limit appointments and reconfigure their areas. We bought 1 dress off the rack and we are ordering 2 others thru Amazon bc we can have them in a week. We are still looking for the other 2 but will probably go to Twirl in Kenton. Much better customer service and experience. read more

My dress shopping here was less than desirable. I had made a "wish list" as directed online when I made my appointment. They did not have one single dress that was on my wishlist when I arrived at the store. I wish they would have just called and cancelled my appointment at that point. They pulled some other dresses that I tried on, but the customer service representative had more than one bride she was working with at a time. They left me in a dress I hated and that didn't fit for a good 20 minutes waiting to take it off. I did not buy a dress from Davids, I went elsewhere because my experience wasn't great. I should have known to go elsewhere as well for bridesmaid dresses, but we made an appointment with David because of their semi-reasonable prices. I was called the day before the appointment for the bridesmaids and told them there was only ONE dress they were interested in, the convertible dress. She said they had it to try on for them. She also confirmed my wedding date, which was approximately 3 months away. She said they need to purchase within the week to get it here for my wedding. We had all finally decided on the dress and color and were checking out, when I was told that the dresses might not be here in time for my wedding. Turns out they would only be here a week before, leaving no time for alterations. I was irritated seeing as the person I spoke to the day before forgot to mention that to me. We ended up leaving, not purchasing the dresses, and going to the Elegant Bride. They had saved me from my dress fiasco and they also came through for the bridesmaids. They were able to get the dresses a whole MONTH before the wedding. read more

I was extremely disappointed in the service. I had to get 8 alterations done, even though I did not change sizes. Either staff didn't do them when I went to pick the dress up or they were just wrong. We barely received compensation and were just told " sometimes it takes awhile." They had the dress for 3 months to do alterations and wanted me to pick it up the week before the wedding. Originally was told by management it would be maybe 2 alterations at most. Bridesmaids got alterations done there as well and they were wrong. I tried to be as kind as I could, but was extremely frustrated with the lack of care. read more

Lauren wasn't pushy or overwhelming and let me do things on my own (which is what I wanted). I would not recommend David's bridal. I went here with my sister and the sales rep was no help. They have their dresses in clear bags and it's impossible to see what the dress looks like. There fitting rooms are tiny and the whole experience was just bad. When I came out of the fitting room, the lady helping me was gone for like 5 mins, didn't tell me she was going anywhere and I was trying to hold up my dress waiting for her, this happened a few times. It was not professional and not an intimate experience at all, not to mention the fitting room was dirty. read more

The sales staff was very patient with how picky I was and ended up having my dream dress...however I would recommend going elsewhere for any MAJOR alterations. Long story short we disagreed in how to handle a small defect (button loops too small in one portion of dress). I was told one thing when I bought it, then they did another at my first fitting, which caused the loops to completely bust off. Luckily, they were able to fix it in time for my wedding day, but I had to go back three times for them to get it right, and I had to keep re-explaining everything since I never got the same person twice. If you're just doing a hem or adding straps, they're fine and well priced. But I was not pleased with my experience with the button loops. read more

I would recommend buying your dress from somewhere else. Although I found my dream dress I went through three months of HELL getting it altered there. My first alterations appointment I got a feeling that something was going to end up going wrong when the lady dong the measurements acted like I was wasting her time. The true nightmare began a month later when I go back to try on my dress after it was Altered. The dress now fit worse than before it was altered. The chest had big wads of fabric bunched up where it had been taken in. There was now a huge gap between my chest and the dress now so you could see right down my dress. My dress no longer fit snug up to my body. I was in tears that my dress was screwed up so bad. The response from the alterations lady was well you must have lost weight. ThAt comment just pushed my nerves even more. So the lady measures me and sees that originally they had my chest measured at a 38 now its measuring a 30.I did not get the lady who altered my dress at my second appointment luckily or it probably would have screwed up even worse getting fixed. Cathy took over Fixing my dress and had me come back a month later. When I returned a month later to continue the hell I have already been through with alterations my dress is now too tight and won't zip up. So Cathy brings out cups to be sewn into my dress instead of wearing the $75 bra I bought there when I bought my dress. It was the only way to get my dress to fit since you can take something in, but not let it out. So yet again my dress is still not finished. I go back a week later and now my dress does not fit in the waist do to all the work that has been done to it. This time my appointment is with the alterations manager. Who's solution to the problem was fashion tape. I just laughed at her because no way am I using tape to hold my $700 dress in place on my body. So she tells me they will take in the sides and won't charge me even though it wasn't needed originally. Like she was doing me a favor. I go back again the next day to try my dress on it finally fits with only a month until my wedding. read more

Davids bridal on sawmill is terrible. Please save yourself a terrible experience and do not go here. They were rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. My whole experience and my 2 bridesmaids experience was awful. The lack of customer service and just plain outright rudeness was the worst I've experienced as a customer in a store. I went in for bridesmaids fitting with two of my bridesmaids. I did not have a mask because I had recently cleaned out my car & work from home. I live in Dublin and masks aren't mandatory, so I figured since they require them, they would have them available. I walked in and I immediately asked for a mask Because I knew they require them. They looked at me and told me they require masks, but don't have any available. I had bridesmaids traveling and didn't want to just leave them. It was 7:30 and there wasn't any one else in the store and there werent any other places around To get a mask. I got one off the floor of one of my bridesmaids car, which was brown with dirt and disgusting. The rest of the evening was terrible. I will never go back there and will never recommend Davids Bridal to anyone. My bridesmaids, who had masks the whole time felt the same way like they were not welcome. We weren't rude but the staff were unforgivably so. I will never return and will let everyone I know about the terrible service and treatment. The next day we went to Wendy's bridal across the street and they blew David's bridal out of the water in every way. I ended up buying my wedding dress and 8 bridesmaids dresses very happily from Wendy's. read more

I made an appointment weeks in advance and i was put in a room next to the bathroom so i had to keep moving for staff and people who also kept stepping on any dress i was wearing. Screaming kids running around everywhere and men in the dressing room area. The girl and who i think was her boss kept bringing me dresses that were not even close to what i asked for and she didnt seem to know how to clip the back of my dress and seemed very overwhelmed and kept rushing me through my appointment. Making an appointment was very pointless. That was my first time trying on wedding dresses and it was horrible. Btw looking at your watch multiple times and telling me how much time i have is rude when you wasted alot of my time bringing me styles of dresses i didnt ask for. I would never recommend this place for a wedding dress. I got my dress at Luxeredux and the appointment was wonderful completely different from the nightmare at this place. read more
