I could give zero if I could. This is the worst Wendy's in Asheville. I arrived at 1:40pm. The drive thru went faster than the line inside. I waited 35 MINUTES! To get my food. I have been here about 20 minutes already in the drive-through line and I have never seen a restaurant turn down more business than this one by leaving their doors locked. I have seen literally about 15 to 20 people walk up to the door and turn around because it was locked. They are so slow and it's really ridiculous when you order a pick up order and you cannot even pick it up you still have to wait in the drive-through. Very pointless. I got a small cheeseburger for my three year old granddaughter. She ate half of it before we realized it was red in the middle and obviously undercooked. This is a health hazard and I called the restaurant who offered to replace it. I told them no thanks, just cook the burgers so that no one gets e-Coli or botulism. I walked in and was alone at the counter for 5 minutes, no service, no cashier, no help. Finally some friends came up and started chatting with me as he was wanting a refill and the soft drink machine was very limited in drinks. By this time more people have come in and are waiting too. I have always loved wendy's and considered it one of my number one choices when it comes to fast food. I know it being fast food that it's not going to be top notch, but I have NEVER been to a location so bad. It seems as if every time my boyfriend and I go it's worse. This specific time my boyfriend's bun was hard and stale like it had been sitting out all day. The cashier was shouting about how an employee had mixed chemicals to clean the walk in cooler (where the food is kept) and how disgusting it was. WOW! I mean I try to have little to no expectations when I go to place like Wendy's. I know places have off times, but this was gag me and then gag again of the smell near the never cleaned dirty Soda machine with many many varieties offered but very few available. The smell was real bad near the machine. I look for a table in the OMG the dining room is filthy space. The food takes at least 15 min before ready. The dining room trashed . The wet spots that smelled like urine. I wait and finally get my food, The food tastes bad, smells bad and I gag and loose appetite. The playfulness of the crew was noticed over how well they did not clean dining room. Want ever go back .horrible place! read more

I was told by the manager they do not honor deals off the Wendy's App. The deal was for a free half salad with a purchase, that had been shown over several media sites and websites, not just the app. The manager was rude to the elderly gentleman in front of me and rolled his eyes when the elderly gentleman left without ordering because of the price. The cashier and manager smirked and said you pay for what you get. The manager looked at me and shrubbed his shoulders. I ordered three frosty's. One chocolate and two vanilla. I was told they had no vanilla after I had already paid. Another lady had ordered a salad and while waiting for her order they told her they had no avocado and ask if she would take another salad instead. When I spoke with the manager and ask for his name, he gave me his name. I asked for him to write it, so I could remember it, and he refused. He, the manager, said he didn't have to do anything. That is very obvious. By observing the 5-10 minutes I was there NOTHING was exactly what all the customers I witnessed got. I like Wendy's, but not good enough to deal with that stress. read more
