Where do I start, went through the drive-through they were probably four cars ahead of me the line moved really quick until it got to me at the order area. The lady first asked "can I take your order" after I stated my order a giant pause. A few seconds later I said did you get that and she said no "can I take your order" I nicely repeated my order and went to the first window to pay. She read back the order at the window it was correct I paid and after a little pleasantries I waited to go to the next window to pick up my order . This is where things got out of control as I rolled to the pick up window, I noticed a congregation of employees 6 to 7 standing around inside by the Coke machines playing grabby, not doing their job just standing around after five or so minutes the manager appeared and noticed that I was sitting outside the window and ask if my order had been delivered. They said no and proceeded to hand me out two soft drinks when I didn't order. Next after I stated that the soft drinks were not mine they ask what did you get. At this point since I'm the only person in the drive-through it shouldn't be too difficult for you to know what order you still have left to fill on your board. . After I told them my order they handed me a bag and didn't say thank you have a nice day or anything turned a walk away when I noticed that it was not my order it was only half of my order they had left out the fries. They began arguing between each other and finally a bag of fries appeared. None of this really would've made a difference if I Received a sandwich that wasn't cold and french fries that were cold and soggy after waiting and watching the employees screw screwing around inside the store. This is my last stop, last attempt, last time I will ever visit this particular Wendy's they are consistently rude, consistently get poor food, and in most cases now the employees seem to not have even want to be there at work. It radiates when you get around them they all seem to have attitude. read more

I went to the location on Defense Highway to get a burger and that is it what I got was a worker coming to the window with a paper bag over his hand holding it up like a gun and saying that he wanted some thing from us. Apparently this was a joke to him! A freaking joke. The manager said nothing to him... I yelled and screamed to get a real managers number and I got a number but who knows if it was fake or not. I SHOULD have called the police but I didn't. I will NEVER EVER go back here again. read more

I usually like Wendy's but this location is changing my mind. The lady taking orders acted she was only tolerating me. When I walked to the counter and said hello, she just stared at me in silence. I said hello 2 more times with the same response. She finally asked if she could take my order. If they don't care about the customers, why would I think they care about the way they prepare the food? I'll keep on driving by the next time I'm looking for a burger. read more

This was a good experience. I was here around 5:30-6 PM on 6/6 and ate in. The customer service was good, the food was good. This was a totally different, opposite experience than the one I had at the West Street location (if you see my previous review from there, that whole West Street location needs to be re-trained and overhauled). Even an employee commented on the weather to me when he was working the floor! That was nice, he was friendly as well. I saw him carry an order to curbside pick-up I think. The cashier was also pleasant and hardworking, all the employees were. I do recommend this Defense Street location over the West Street location, if you can make the drive. This is what a Wendy's Should be. read more

staff were very friendly appx noon at Defense Hwy. . i will say that. the food was very hot also. but.... i ordered three items. two of them the patties were undercooked. the third was cooked properly. but a smashed unimpressive sandwich. just one tiny little piece of lettuce on it. Does the picture i uploaded look anything like what they post on the menu? is there a shortage of lettuce, tomato etc? what has happened to quality of food? read more

I wish I could give this Wendy's ZERO stars! I don't know why I keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt. It has been horrible time after time. I knew I should've kept driving when I saw one of their employees sitting on the wall by the drive-thru SMOKING. This spot used to be good YEARS ago, but that management and crew have long since moved on. Now, while there seemed to be one or two employees who were polite when servicing me, there were quite a few, like smoking lady, who are the dregs of society. THE FOOD: My French fries were SO SALTY that they were INEDIBLE! My Spicy Chx sandwich was hot but had googobs of mayo on it. Totally repulsive. It seems like deliberate corporate sabotage by disgruntled employees. It couldn't have been personal against me bc I simply ordered, paid, drove off NEVER AGAIN. Ever. I would give zero stars but I cannot. This is just another Wendy's waiting for Chick Fil A to take them out of there misery. My wife and I went here just trying to grab a quick bite before an event. We utilized the drive thru for this transaction. I should have known we were in trouble when the drive thru mic was on and we could hear a full conversation. We get back to the hotel and I was missing a burger. Next problem was my wife's burger had plastic on it which may have come from some type of food packaging. Fast, efficient, clean, courteous, accommodating unbelievable customer service. Food was fast and fresh; perfectly salted fries; every one did their job and the rush was handled with expert efficiency and I cannot song their praises enough. I recently had lunch at this Wendy' s Annapolis location and I must say the food I was served was absolutely terrible. I will never ever visit this Wendy's again. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich meal and the chicken was so over cooked it was inedible. It was like a rock. How hard is it to cook a piece of prepared chicken correctly? The fries were cold and had no salt on them... Pretty lame too. The only thing that was right in the entire meal was the fountain soda. I responded to Wendy's directly as the receipt had a website that you can link onto to weigh in on how things were with my visit... Senior management should send in the "mystery diner" and order the poor quality food I had on my last visit. Maybe then they will correct this nightmare. With all of the choices that exist around Annapolis of where to grab some fast food, Wendy's should be much more concerned with the quality of what they are selling at this Annapolis location. It was really pretty bad... Save your money, go elsewhere!!! read more

Yeah, I know what you are saying: a 5 star rating for a fast food chain???? No, I'm not nuts and normally I would agree with you, but this place is the exception to the rule and here's why: From entry to exit I was made to feel welcome. Every employee was friendly and eager. They accommodated my weird order with smiles. Plus-and importantly-the food was good-very good. I tried the new bbq sandwich and asked to have a sampling of all 3 sauces. They not only put these into little containers for me, but they labeled them so I'd know which was which. The chili is always good and hot but with the addition of the chili sauce it rises above... I love that they have baked potatoes which are so wonderful, and rare. The salad was actually fresh with plentiful vegetables. There was a new employee training and he was told that the motto there is "whatever the customer wants" and it truly shows--everything shows how much they want to please. The place is spotless and the employees look crisp and professional too. Compare this to the location up the street on West--hoo boy, what a difference. I am a big believer in giving kudos to places and people who are trying hard to excel-no matter what the venue/food type. So, I can say in all honesty and without feeling embarrassed that I can not think of one thing they could have done here to make my experience better. It was THAT good! read more

Edit: about a year ago, I hated this Wendy's. The service was awful, nobody was friendly and they messed my order up quite a few times. NOW it's like this Wendy's has done a complete 180. I think it might be under new management. I'm always greeted with a smile and a friendly voice, they are very customer oriented now and they never get my order wrong. Sometimes they run out if BBQ sauce though which sucks but isn't an actual complaint. I definitely prefer this one to the one on West Street. I would give it 4 stars if it wasn't fast food. read more

After waiting in line for 10 minutes (family of 5 in front of me), I walk up to the cashier for her to say "I'll be with you in one minute" so i waited even longer. And then she finally asked for my order, I asked for a berry burst salad without the chicken and feta cheese because I'm vegan and she said the salad already has cheese on it. I understood and decided to order fries instead but before I could order my fries the cashier said "hold on a minute." and then walked away and started making the order for the family before me. Im rating a 1/5 because the cashier made me wait even longer, didn't allow me to order fries, interrupted me multiple times, and they were fully staffed so there was NO excuse to why she had to walk away from the cash register. She did not great me with a smile, or was nice. It was a horrible experience so I walked out. read more

Every single thing in my order was wrong, including the complete wrong drink. It would be a better if they accidentally gave me someone else's order completely. When I do eat fast food it is usually Wendy's, but I will be driving farther to not go to this one. read more

All the food was atrocious. But the worst part was my wifes chicken sandwich. It was RAW. not just a little undercooked, but pink. No excuse for that. Manager gave us money back and was apologetic but sorry; we won't be back. read more
