Closing time online said 1:00 AM....thought maybe the light went out so I gave it a try and pulled up to the drive-thru...3 different people looked at me and hurried in the back without saying a word...if you're closed you could of just said so...This is soooo annoying to me as a server who has to take any table that walks in even if it's just 1 minute before closing and then have to wait for them to finish their meal (average time about 30-45 minutes if I'm lucky)...All they had to do was cook the food and I would have been on my way...how are you going to stop taking orders over an hour before you close??? This was the WORST Wendy's I have ever been to. We stopped while traveling. There was 7 of us. We walked in and the floors were sticky. The tables were dirty with food, trash etc. We went to place the orders and the counters were just as filthy. They looked as if someone hadnt wiped them down all day (and mind you it was NOT a busy location, so there was time). We placed our orders to be advised they were out of cheese (cheese, how you offers several options) but was offered shredded cheese so we said sure. However, when we received the sandwhiches they were not even hot, so the cheese was just falling out. A few seconds on the grill or in the microwave could have fixed that issue. We asked for BBQ sauce for our nuggets and they were out of that too. Because it was late, we just went with it, ate our room temp food and headed back on the road... This was the worst experience I've ever had at ANY fast food restaurant & they deserve zero stars. Went inside to order & there were a few people in front of us, only one register open. KALA rang up the people in front of us, then had to get drinks for them (fine). BUT she took her sweet behind time doing it! Like, three minutes to get two drinks when the drink machine is right next to her! We finally order, I get nuggets & ask for bbq sauce but they're out, so I got a different kind. Finally get our food 10-15 minutes later & we go back to the car. (I'm going to note here that there was a dead squirrel in the parking space next to my car. Not that the restaurant can control that, but just added to the whole experience....). We checked the bag to make sure we had everything & they didn't even put any sauce in there! Went back in to get it & told they guy I ordered sauce but didn't get any in the bag. There was no "sorry", just "well what kind did you get?" in a very rude manner. Also, I used the restroom after we ordered & were waiting for the food. It was a disgusting mess. Two stalls, the handicap one was taken so I went in the other. No toilet paper. So I go back out & wait for the other one to open. (Again, this part is just more about the experience...). Another lady comes in & asks if I'm waiting. I said yes & while pointing to the empty stall I said "that one is out of toilet paper". SHE GOES IN THERE ANYWAY! The handicap stall opens so I go in there - there's toilet paper all over the floor. The lady in the one with no toilet paper just lets out a fart & continues to use the bathroom! Her toilet flushes & I'm just waiting in the stall for her to leave so I wouldn't run into her. read more

Gross. Mildew smell, sticky floors, greasy crumb covered tables.....at 11 am...... half the ceiling tiles are stained from leaks. Pealing stained wallpaper. One girl at the register. She was nice but the line moved so slow they have put in a tv to occupy you while you wait. Three groups gave up and left as opposed to wait. My drink was also wrong. Do not eat here. Go across bay bridge to Stevensville Exit. I have never been into a restaurant this dirty in my life. The floor and counters back where the food was made was covered in dropped food and trash. The tables where customers eat were very dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day. Despite all of this we were extremely hungry so we risk getting food poisoning an ordered anyways. It took at least twenty minutes to get our two sandwiches with fries. It wasn't super busy, maybe 5 couples. They were out of napkins, ketchup, ketchup containers, mayo packets, and tomatoes. After this entire experience we just wanted to get out of the dirty hole. Well to top it off we get in the car and start driving to find out the sandwiches are ice cold. I don't typically not eat something but I couldn't stomach it. We ended up pulling off the road a couple of miles up and got KFC sandwiches. It was the biggest waste of $17.68. This franchise needs to have a check done. Horrible experience at this location today from the moment we walked in. Walk in the building floors are incredibly sticky. Get up to the register to order & the lady doesn't listen to what we want, we clarify and then she charges us for the most expensive meal possible. My husband orders a taco salad, we get home and there's no chili for the salad! How is that a taco salad when it's missing the main component? $25 on fast food for 3 of us and it was horrible. This Wendy's sucks. We visited on September 1st, and they only had one person taking orders. We waited about 10 minutes to order, which isn't too bad, but there was only one couple in front of us! Worst of all, they were out of Coke, ketchup and toilet paper. The women's room was so disgusting. We have, foolishly, stopped here many times on our way to the beach. Never again. Since it was Sunday, we couldn't go to Chick-fil-A. If we ever are in that area again on a Sunday, we will go to Wawa or McDonald's. read more

This is a seriously old Wendys. It looks like it hasn't been updated since the early 90s and is just...awkwardly open. The food itself can be hit or miss. The manager was nice last time I was in there and comp'ed my girlfriend and I each a frosty for our order taking a couple minutes but man...the kids working there just did not want to work or listen to him in the least. Are you kidding me? I have to plan a special time slot just to pick up some food from Wendy's! I could finish the first two Harry Potter movies before even getting to the window; the first one before someone acknowledges me on the intercom! It's confusing that it takes so long to get COLD and stale food... that is if they aren't out of it--like usual. How do you run out of chicken nuggets, baked potatoes, AND frosty's in one night? I have NEVER seen a manager working, and constantly see the staff goofing off and not paying attention to their JOBS. I've had to go around the line several times because they've forgotten items-- there's Harry Potter #3! I have reached out to Wendy's several times about complaints of which they completely brushed off. I wouldn't be shocked if this location closed down within a year. Unfortunately this and the nastiest McDonald's next to it are the only restaurants before the bay bridge. I will just have to wait a few extra miles to get some decent food and service. read more

Skip this Wendy's and move on unless you don't mind you're order being wrong. We asked for 2 hamburger meals, 1 with everything and 1 w/o the cheese, lettuce and tomato. We ordered another hamburger w/ everything, a medium Coke, a medium Dr. Pepper, the 10 count regular chicken nuggets w/ a medium Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. We ended up getting Spivey chicken nuggets & 3 hamburgers w/ cheese, lettuce & tomatoes. The drinks didn't taste right. So when we told the young man taking the orders, he said he gave us a Dr.Pepper & a Cherry Coke. But the carbonation tasted off. My husband was so upset that nothing was done right he just wanted to leave. It was 10 pm & we had just spent over $30. For $30 I want a meal that satisfies my hunger. We ended up going to the McD's next door and I bought some hamburgers and fries there. Very disappointing experience at this Wendy's!!!! Now I see why they only got 1 Star!!!! read more

Walked in and was greeted with a hefty aroma of disappointment and neglect. The staff was disgusting and uninterested in the customer or my order. The physical condition of the building is disgusting it is crawling with cockroaches. The interior is covered with a grime that on some surfaces is sticky, and on others it is slimy. My frosty was only half full when served. Before it was served it took a trip to a back room with one of the employees. When it returned the employee simply smirked at me and left. Went at 11 AM went to get ketchup from dispenser and it squirted all over me because the dispenser was dirty and clogged. Reported it to staff. Lady came out and very rudely asked me which one as if it was my fault she replace the ketchup didn't clean up the ketchup that was squirted all over the floor and counter. Stopped here on our way thru to ocean city. First off no one greeted us at drive thru. We asked if they were open, the girl (who watched us they a window) said yeah! Then my husband ordered the 4 piece chicken tender meal and a guy said it would be a 6 minute wait and did we still want it. They were rude and could've cared less they had paying customers! I'd call and complain but I doubt it would make a difference! The inside was all tore up, the floor looked as if it exploded and all the chairs and tables were stacked. While I'm a huge fan of Wendy's, tonight's venture was a bit unpleasant. The food was alright; no complaints there. A 3/4 pounder paired with their fries and frosty keychain satisfies me every time. What left me with a bad taste in my mouth however, was what I noticed behind the counter. The girl taking my order was a blonde with a nose ring. I believe her name was Tiffany. She took my order just fine, but afterwards, I could clearly see her walk back and blatantly order other people around; sort of like a micro manager. What really irked me in particular was how she seemed to be picking on this shorter girl. It was close to closing, and they were doing side work. The shorter girl was going all over the place doing different tasks, and I could clearly hear Tiffany yelling at her to do what I assume was her own work, such as "FILL THE CONDIMENTS". Profanity could be heard as well. It leads me to wonder, how many other consumers have witnessed this happening? Tiffany was defintiely a millennial, but regardless of age, regardless of occupation, it's a professional environment and should be treated as such. The only things I saw Tiffany do besides take my order was either FREQUENTLY checking her cell phone, and bossing other people around. And these are the type of people that demand $15/hr? Utterly pathetic!!! What compelled me to type this review? Probably the fact that I usually sit-in to eat at this particular Wendy's. After tonight's encounter, I felt too awkward sitting to eat while I could hear some teenage girl whining at people to get work done, and nobody stopped her. Just too unpleasant. I had to take my food to-go. I firmly believe that kids like this need to be watched over. I know this stuff happens in restaurants all the time, but for a consumer such as myself to SEE and HEAR what went on tonight? Unacceptable. Looks like I'll have to hit drive thru more often.
