We came here to use the restroom, get some snacks, and get gas. The Wawa was big and spacious. It had a lot of parking and gas terminals. The bathrooms were okay but had an unpleasant smell. I ordered a personal pan pizza for $8 and it was so tiny. It was more like a small NYC slice of pizza. The pizza lacked flavor, and the sauce wasn't great. There was barely any sauce, it was mostly cheese. It was more like cheesy bread than pizza. I could have gotten better frozen pizza than this. It also took more than 25 minutes to get it. read more

On our way home to Cape Charles and decided to grab a salad for lunch. I can honestly say I have never thought about having a salad prepared at Wawa but there is a 1st time for everything. This was a busy Wawa as it is on the way to the beach. I ordered a turkey bacon ranch salad with dressing on the side at the kiosk and my order was ready surprisingly fast. Well stopped here while on the way to OCM and overall this was a nice spot and a staple of getting an iced coffee on the way down to the beach before hitting the Bay Bridge - I always seem to just make the exit which is right off the highway and it would be nice to see some signage for it so you don't have to double back after you realize you missed it. This place is NEVER dead. Ever. Tuesday at 2pm - slammed, Sunday at 3pm - SLAMMED. Doesn't mean it isn't clean or there are any issues. The only problem I have run into was having to ask for the ice coffee dispenser to be refilled. Which the guy did promptly. Didn't order any food - just the iced coffee and continued over the bridge. A must stop for anyone going to the beach! read more

I really like Wawa sandwiches. This place is usually very busy . It's usually nice and clean..I was not happy with only having 1 choice for soup, although their chicken noodle is good. I would like a few choices. Also, they didn't have the thicker deli sandwiches we would get on white bread. Instead, we had to get the 3 slices of meat on a sub roll where we throw half the sub bread away. The subs are tasty, and the soups are also I just like more choices. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm heading across the bridge. read more

Bathroom reeked of piss and could see blood smear or maybe lipstick inside bathroom stall. Dirty ring inside toilet visible from not being cleaned! Ughhh! And a gnat or bug or something scurrying around on the floor! We go to a lot of wawas and this one was surprisingly disgusting! Shame on Wawa! This is probably my favorite Eastern Shore gas station/pit stop. If I'm travelling near the Bay Bridge, it's guaranteed that I will stop here. I'm really glad they've expanded the number of gas pumps, but they should really expand/update the store! This is probably the busiest Wawa I've ever frequented, and they could really use the extra space for the kind of traffic they get here. All in all, always a nice place to stop. read more

Great place to get gas and air in tires as well as subs but that's about it. The multi drink machines are always out of a lot of drinks and the area is dirty. It's not like the Wawa that I go to by a long shot (Dunkirk or Edgewater MD). They actually take great care of you. I will give 5 stars here because of Employee Sean working on Coffee and breakfast sandwiches and cleanliness. There were no sandwiches ready-made and the Christmas Spice flavor coffee was out. Well immediately Sean asked what I was looking for and when I told him, instantly replaced the empty spot with a fresh pot. So I asked him about the sandwiches, and he took my specific order and made them perfectly fresh and hot. So worth the 3 minute wait. He even suggested I could go pay for them while they cooked to save myself a little bit of time! He was friendly, polite, and very efficient. Next to him was another coworker whose name I did not catch but was wiping and cleaning with the sanitary wipes in the general area which is appreciated. Perfect start to my Saturday! I heard great things from friends up north about them visiting wawas after their late night drinking binges...but I'm still a (biased) fan of sheetz stations over Wawas. But, if you need gas and some food that (probably) won't make you sick...voilà! Food is decent, made to order, and cheap. As someone who drives to the shore every chance I get, I find myself stopping here a lot since it's easy on-easy off Route 50 and is just a couple minutes before the Bay Bridge. This location never seems very clean, which is probably partially due to the volume of travelers that come thru here. They also don't stock the same variety of teas and lemonades that I've found at other Wawas. I wouldn't stop here for a meal unless it was the only option, but it's fine for picking up drinks and snacks on the way to the shore. read more
