Since my fiancee didn't want a crepe from Aloha Crepes today, we decided to go down to Wendy's since it was on the way home. I can't believe so many people eat lunch so late. By the time we got there, it was nearly 2:00 and the line for the drive-through was almost to the driveway entrance. When we got inside the restaurant, the line was to the door! Apparently, there was only one person taking orders and one person bringing the food up. After I was done eating half my crepe, I noticed that my fiancee hadn't moved a bit in the line. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. Best to beware going to this Wendy's at 2:00 on Saturdays. read more

Since, there is not too many Wendy's on this island. Normally, I go to the one on Puuloa Road that's next to Cycle City or the one on Moanalua Road across Aiea Shopping Center during work time to buy lunch. Before, I used to order their Taco Salad all the time a very long, long time ago. Now, I usually order one of their healthy salads for a healthy lunch and every so often I buy one of their burger combo with french fries and a drink. Recently, they offered the $6 Biggie Deal which is a junior bacon cheeseburger, french fries, 4 piece chicken nuggets and a drink. That is a good price! At first, I thought it was only good enough for a chihuahua sized appetite. But, I was wrong and it was good enough for a bulldog sized appetite. It had enough food to make me feel satisfied after lunch time. Also, I was surprised and shocked that they used my food picture for their Yelp profile picture for now. At least my food picture has its time in the limelight for now. I guess until someone else posts a better one. read more

Wendy's - Tuesday April 23, 2019 I am shocked and surprised that they used my food picture for their Yelp profile app. I am honored. - Burgers Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

Went through the drive through with no line and only one car in front of us. I guess the first car drove away without taking their food, and the girl had to ask us what our order was. Then from there it took us about 10 minutes to get our food because there was confusion. The line formed after us, out to the road. The food was mehhh, chicken nuggets were luke warm and the wrap had all the cheese in one area and all the veggies in another area so each bite was either just cheese and chicken or lettuce and chicken. Maybe next time we'll go to mcdonalds. read more

Visit: 6/2/09 - Dinner. Ate the combo #1 with oreo frosty and chicken nugget side. Combo was okay. I think I will order a chicken combo next time. Beef sucks here. Frosty was good. Too bad they did not have new coffee toffee frosty. Chicken Nuggets are always good. Too pricey to eat it all the time. Price here is expensive. I would go to Jack in the box or McDonalds for better value and food. I will come back for chicken nuggets. $1 for 4 pieces. Yikes. read more

Sorry, but their hamburgers dont have taste. Not enough spices? Too lean? Not sure. May be good for the 'older' crowd, but I am not a fan. read more

Drive thru service was terrible! No fries in my bag, wrong size chili order, nothing to eat the chili with. I know we eat poi with our fingers but NOT CHILI!!! Had to go all around up Aiea Hts Dr to get back on to Moanalua Rd!!! In the afternoon traffic! And to top it off no receipt! So I called the 1 888 number to put in my complaint!!! Very disappointing! read more

Absolutely the WORST hamburger we have EVER eaten in our life. Wendy's has a current campaign featuring 3 specialty burgers. The mushroom & bacon/bbq sauce is what we tried. The dang burger is really 1/4 of the size shown on TV and the print adds in store. Burger is dry, shriveled like an old shoe with no taste. They do give you 3 nice slices of bacon, small & would equal 1 1/2 pieces. What a rip off!. Haven't been to Wendy's in awhile and was drawn in with the TV commercial. Talk about bait & switch. Stay away and save your money. Go to Burger King, Jack in the Box or McDonalds; at least their specialty burgers look like & taste like one. We will NEVER EVER eat at a Wendy's again! Only reason there are 2 stars instead of one is that the cashier was nice. read more

How about you cook your burgers all the way through next time? Strawberry lemonade is always great as usual, but I would rather wait a little longer than a couple minutes if that means I won't get raw meat read more

Wendy's - Way too pink for me - Burgers Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

So the guy taking orders in the window named Carl(not too sure cause he can't write his name well on his name tag) but he has two circle tattoos on his forearm. Was extremely rude, wouldn't let me complete any of my sentences and kept finishing the my order and telling me to pull up before I was even done talking. He was very rude and condescending as well. They didn't even salt the fries and still put pickles in my burger after asking three times for it not be in there. Next time this happens I'm coming inside and I'm gonna turn Carl into my personal Wendy. read more

This location is a little tricky in terms of parking because there aren't that many spaces to begin with. Getting out is also a challenge at times if you are turning right. The food here is not too bad and their speed is pretty fast for both the drive thru and dine in. Definitely a go to place if you can't decide what to eat. The service is pretty good. read more

Since my last review, service has been more reliable. They actually remember to make my salad without blue cheese, so that's a plus. I've been getting their apple pecan chicken salad pretty often because I think Wendy's salads taste a lot better than salads from other fast food places. I love that they have fruity salads, which is why I'm sad that I keep finding a reason to eat elsewhere. My last Apple pecan salad had a chopped bug head in it that I only found when I was nearly done eating. Gross. The bug wasn't anything familiar to me and it was in a very solid state. I almost thought it was a piece of wood before realizing there were 2 eyes staring at me. Because of this I believe it may have actually been imported from the mainland together with the food. I don't care if health regulations allow a small percentage of bugs in food to be acceptable, it's still disgusting. read more

Wendy's - Chopped bug head in my Apple pecan chicken salad... yum. - Burgers Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

I love the food but it's along wait time hey that's fast food for ya gotta get the double bacon burger. So good with bbq sauce

Only giving this Wendy's two stars because I love Wendy's and their food generally. This place is usually pretty good with their customer service, but I came here tonight through the drive thru; barely any cars, not busy at all. And the lady taking my order? No greeting, and you can tell she wasn't really listening to me as I had to repeat my order to her over and over. When I get to the window to pay, my total is $10.15 and I gave her $20.05 since I couldn't find a dime, but wanted that $0.90 back. She asked me if I had a dime as if I was stupid for just giving her the nickel. Then she handed over the food without offering any ketchup or saying thank you. You can tell Annie doesn't like her job. Really poor customer service on tonight's trip to Wendy's. read more

I don't know if I'll ever give a fast food place 5 stars. Those will always be reserved for local shops with personality. Although this Wendy's location is not nearly as crowded as the Pearl City location next to Walmart, the drive thru still runs painfully slow for no reason. My food always feels cold, as if it has been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. They also never asked me for my dressing when I order salad. Just lettuce... no fork... just lettuce. Although I appreciate Wendy's as a whole for offering different choices than other fast food corporations, I am still not impressed with the experience. read more

It won't let me give this place no stars, went to get some food tonight. Went to the drive thru and the female taking my order was so very rude. She talked like a tita from Waianae. Absolutely no customer service. Then got to the window to pay and all you see is a bunch of chronics working inside. The female taking the order and the female that gave me my food both look like chronics. I didn't want to hand her my card to pay because I was afraid she was gonna do something squirley like take a picture of the #s on my credit card. So I decided to pay with cash instead. Don't go to this place, very bad customer service and chronic looking workers. They also don't wear mask or use gloves. This place needs to be reported to the department of health and all their employees need to do a drug test read more

Got the 4 for $5 deal (not 4 for $4 like the commercials say because we live in dang Hawaii) and I was really excited to get a good variety of food for so cheap! Food was good. Not much to say about fast food lol. I also ordered a chocolate frosty. The only downside to my meal (besides how unhealthy it all was but who goes to a fast food place for healthy food?) was the fact that a small Frosty is SO small! Good, but small. read more

5.18.13. LOVE Wendy's (Frostees)!! This location is terrible, mostly because it is located in a super inconvenient spot. One, it's difficult to tell where the entrance is and exiting is kind of tricky. If you're not familiar with the area, I would def suggest looking up how to get here or just avoid this location. Service here was good though--very patient & friendly! Yelp 365 Challenge: #137/365 read more

I've been sitting in the Drive-Thru for 15 minutes and the cars have not moved. Absolutely no etiquette whatsoever on how to speak to a customer through a drive-thru no greeting no nothing can I take your order your total is $12.10 second window. One good point the food was okay the order was correct exactly what I asked for and the young lady at the window was very very friendly she smiled and talk very politely she knows customer service but the gentleman on the drive-through needs a real education on how to take an order from a customer. read more

After a long shopping session at Babies R Us, I definitely needed something to eat. I could see the Wendy's sign from the parking lot of Babies R Us and I decided to give the place a try. First off, let me say the place was crazy busy. I managed to score the last parking space in the lot. I went inside, and there were no seats. Again, I was lucky and there was a couple leaving as I was standing in line with the hubs. I immediately sent him to save the seat as I was going over the value menu. Their value menu is pretty extensive. It's not all $0.99, but the prices are all pretty much under $2. I ordered a number 2 large for the hubs, and I ordered a sour cream and chive baked potato, some type of double cheeseburger, hot chicken nuggets, and chili rice. The total for everything came out to about $13. I was stoked. I prefer the burgers at McDonald's, but you can't go wrong with the variety at Wendy's. The service was not bad. The place was crazy packed, and I thought my wait time was reasonable. Ultimately, I think I would come back if I was in the area and I wanted something quick and cheap to eat. However, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. read more

Isn't this supposed to be "fast food"? Four of us from the office went to this wendys. It was not my choice, but I was the oddball "I-don't-do-fast-food-joints" and we were carpooling. It took forever to get to order. I looked back and I felt bad for the line behind me, mostly military in uniform, lined up almost to the door. Getting my order- just a baked potato and jr. Frosty- took about the same agonizing amount of time. Were they pulling the potato out of the ground? read more

I never really tried Wendy's until I got married.. my hubby is a fan of Wendy's. The idea that their hamburger was square and not round just seemed weird to me... since most of the hamburgers I know are round. I have seen Wendy's at Japan, but never really stopped by... man was i missing out! This location is usually very busy around lunch time and you can see the cars lined out almost to the road... but if you make it at a good time, definitely try their burgers ! If i had the choice between McDonald and Wendy's .. it would most definitely be WENDY'S! read more

I love Wendy's, but this location is eh, not the best. The parking lot is structured really weird and there's almost never room, especially when the drive thru is full. It's almost impossible to pull into the entrance. The inside was really messy. There was food on the ground, used napkins all around, dirty trays left on the tables, and dirty tables in general. It was hard to find a nice place to sit. But other than that, I love how it's a cheap, delicious place to get your fast food. Definitely I'd choose Wendy's over mcdonalds. read more

It's Wendy's and amazing quality. So expect to pay more than the dollar menu at McD's. bad customer service, the ladies restroom smell like vagina When I found hair in my chili, the cashier didn't apologize, the fat asian lady who has "manager" on her name tag didn't apologize. I actually said "sorry" because I didn't want a new chili but just a refund. They have nice dine in area though. Cashier guy took the trays from the trash area and he dropped the paper and left it, while another customer picked it up behind him. This location by far has the worst employees; from management to cashiers. read more

This only pertains to value, value, value. Went there the other week and noticed a 50 cents chili and rice. Thought this was a typo on the fast board menu but sure enough it was only 50 cents. For a late night bite, Wendy's is a place I enjoy purchasing food. Although if you go at the latest time they either run out of the food or they can't cook the food due to they turning off their fryers. Other than that Wendy's is a good place to purchase food at a very late hour. read more

The "very angry female" from the previous comment is Shantel. Super rude while taking our order. She asked, "anything else" with a scowl and we said, "just a second" then she barked our total at us. The burgers are great! But the service sucks big time. There is no customer service or people skills in this fast food drive inn! Took 5 minutes in line to order then 17 minutes till my order was complete! Unacceptable!!! Not sure if I'll ever visit this restaurant again! read more

If I could score this place 0 I would. I just left there and I'm never going back. I've never in my life been to an establishment that had such rude employees. First issue was I was being rushed in the drive through with an impatient employee who kept asking was the order done when I asked her to give me a second so my kids could tell me what they wanted to eat, NO ONE WAS BEHIND US. I got over it and went to the window to pay and we didn't receive a receipt which I didn't realize until we got home and discovered that we ALSO didn't receive one of our burgers. So I called telling them I'm missing a burger and was put on hold so she could look for the order which took about ten minutes. After "locating" the order she said I wasn't rung up for the junior bacon burger and hung up on me as I opened my mouth to ask her if I could come get a copy of the receipt. I called back and she answered and hung up. Then when I called back two extra times assuming the call dropped they never answered. I'm disgusted. WENDYS DO BETTER. read more

Very angry female taking our order...Even scarier in person at the window!!! Fries were soggy. Scariest customer service ever!!!

Just want to say that every time I have went there....mostly through the drive thru....it has been quick and easy. BOTH MOANAULUA STORES Aiea & Pearl City are the BEST!!!!!!! The staff and management seem to make Fast Food ....FAST. Nothing worst than to have to weight for your food. I have not had any problems with them. I have thanked the employees at both locations..... and I think Liz and Ponce are at the Pearl City and I can not think of the young lady that manages evening shift at Aiea.....they will know who I am....by my order....lol.. We just stopped here at Wendy's for something quick that was still open after our flight arrived (& we got our luggage & rental car & all that). The parking lot may have been a tight squeeze, though. There aren't very great vegetarian-friendly selections available at this or at any Wendy's restaurant, so it isn't usually my first choice. But I was with a group of 7 adults & 2 kids (ages 4 & 1 years), & we needed something fast & convenient. I just had some regular Old-Fashioned Burger, but without the meat patty. Also some fries & a small Frosty. The food was good, pretty standard for Wendy's, but one adult member of our group had some food poisoning for the next 24 hours. At least the staff was friendly, helpful, & accommodating. read more

Last night my boyfriend and I decided to make a quick stop to get something to eat. We went though the drive through and the person who was taking our orders seemed nice and polite. However their frosties were apparently out again! (That was the whole point of going there) anyways we got up to the drive thru window to pay and found it was the manager working the window who seemed frustrated. He gave us our drink and told one of his employee to take our money. My boyfriend handed him a $20 bill and the guy replied "out if $20?" and my boyfriend said yes. We waited for our change and he didn't give it to us but instead hands us the food and walks away. The manager came back and looked at us and asked if we paid and we said yes and pointed to the guy who took our money. He looked back at us like we didn't give him the money and the manager asked us the same question again as if we didn't want to pay for our food. I mean come on if that's the case we would've drove off already since we were given all of our food. The manager raises his voice and asked his employee if we paid and the dude finally said "yes and I gave you the $20 they paid with." The manager turned and asked us again if we paid with a $20 and we both yelled yes for the 3rd time! He slammed the cash drawer and instead of handing the change to my boyfriend nicely he kind of just threw it at his hand and all the coins fell on the ground with the receipt WITHOUT EVEN AN APOLOGY OR THANKING US FOR STOPPING BY! My boyfriend had to open his car door and picked up his change while all the cars in the back were staring. I was just about to go through the drive thru window and beat someone! Never going there again because this was the last straw. A month before this recent incident. We decided to dine in and hangout to eat since we wanted Wendy's and this was the nearest to us. The line was fairly long with a wait which was understandable. The girl at the counter took orders from 3 different customers each time and let the rest of us wait. We put in our order and stood to the side to wait. Almost half an hr later we go our food. I had to complain so many times because first they gave our order to someone else because they mixed it up, secondly everyone who ordered before us got their food and was done eating before we even got our food and sat down. I felt sorry for the people behind us because their orders haven't been taken yet! On top of that all the employees were frustrated at one another getting into arguments that we all could hear standing there. This place sucks period! The management and work ethics of employees are poor. I'm not a type of person to review much but because of these scenarios, first thing I said to my boyfriend is "I'M WRITING A DAMN REVIEW ABOUT THIS PLACE!" I wouldn't rate this at all if it allowed us to not rate. This place doesn't even deserve one star. read more

To be honest In the past 5 years I think I've gone to Wendy's about 5x and this year would be 2/5. When I think of a fast food burger joint I usually go to jack in the box as my go to but since coming to Wendy's this year I think it's now my favorite fast food joint. Last night it was packed the drive thru seemed really long so we went inside to order. The line was out the door and there were only 2 cashieers who were not only taking the orders but also packing the food and calling the customers. We waited in line for almost 10 mins. Finally when it was out turn to order the cashier was very patient with us and because I rarely go to Wendy's I had a lot of questions that were happily answered with no attitude whatsoever. We waited about 5 min before our food was ready. The quality of the food I would rate a 4/5. It was nice and hot when we got our food and the burgers were much better than other fast food places. All in all great experience last night, very surprised with the great customer service we had received even though it was crazy busy the cashiers did awesome. Will be back much more often. read more
