    3.5 Sauce Wendall's wings!
    Mike S.

Great classic wings done right! Wings: 9/10. Price: Decent/average. Cash only! Wait time: 35-45 minutes. Inside: 3/10. But with a very old school vibe. If you're into that.

Haven't been to Wendell's in years!! I was slightly disappointed d that they no longer had the variety of wing flavors (used to love the salt n vinegar ones). We got the medium spiced wings which were flavorful and tender. The kale soup was so good!!! Really hearty! Lots of potatoes, meat, kale and the flavor was spot on!! The pastrami sandwich(Wilkey) had a coleslaw on it-really fresh and bright. The Wendell burger was the star!! Tender, spicy and truly filling! That spicy brown mustard was truly delicious! Highly recommend Wendell's!

We have gone to Wendell's many times over the years for the wings. A bowl of wings is just enough along with a beer or two to fill you up. I tend to prefer the 3.5 and my wife the regular. Our kids enjoyed the milder ones. Simple place, cash only, not a fancy spot but the wings are worth it. They appear smaller and I am told that this is because of how hot they cook them, which removes the water and makes the chicken wings look smaller. Compare this to a moist / slimy wing and this is better. It can get loud inside and it is a bar room atmosphere so as you would expect it can be noisy. Nice people and good service. The phone rings endlessly sometimes which is like nails on a chalkboard. But still worth it.

Tiny ass wings. Waitress was hammered. Cash only, but not a single sign letting you know. Avoid this place. Not worth the trouble.

A long hour wait for tasteless, burnt wings. I would not recommend this restaurant for their wings.

The baked fish was cooked perfectly and not greasy at all . The chicken (supreme sauce on side) was excellent and very moist. Generous sides and good pricing with the amount of food you get!! Sigh, welcome to West Bridgewater, chthonic purgatory. Food: I started with a small, side salad, a Caesar which was surprisingly ice cold, fresh and good. For a main I had the J&J Salmon with two sides: green beans and Brussel sprouts. Again, surprisingly cooked exceptionally well. My bride and sister/brother-in-law had coffee which was brewed for them, so very fresh. I'd give them a 5-star rating if not for two things. First, they've no Perrier, Saratoga Springs, or Pellegrino bottled water. In fact, not even a bottle of Poland Springs, Polar, etc. nothing. I don't drink the West Bridgewater tap water - you'd be insane too ... it either smells fishy or tastes like chlorinated pool water. No joke. Secondly, the place was God-awful loud. I mean cerebral spinal fluid leaking from my ears: sport games, music, and screaming kids. The experience and ambiance (bad) but decent pub food (surprisingly good) causes me to give this place four stars. Eye twitching, but hey, at least I left my gang colors at home! Other than that, Mrs Lincoln, how was the play?

If you go, the tenders are an absolute must- we got 2 orders to go as well! We also got the chocolate pistachio martini and the Neil's lullaby alcoholic drinks- both amazing. My dad got 2 of the Neil's because it was so good. My mom's entree was fish and chips which was perfect. There wasn't a lot of extra batter on it which was great. My dad got the clam chowder bread bowl and barbecued steak tips and coleslaw. Both were incredible obviously. I got the smokehouse chicken sandwich which was, again, incredible. Lastly, we split one of their specials of the day which was toffee pudding with mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was so yummy but I didn't like the texture of the bread pudding (just my own weird thing, the flavor was still great). Their portions are HUGEEEEEE so you'll definitely need to-go boxes and extra room in the fridge. I saved my appetite all day to eat here and it was most definitely worth it. The service was great, all of the staff were very friendly. We went during the lunch rush on a Saturday so we had to wait about 30 minutes for inside seating. They do have outdoor tent seating with heat but we liked the look of the place inside and really wanted to sit there. We will absolutely be coming here again soon!

Outstanding New England food and hospitality…read more The steak tips were the best I've ever had -- perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and tender. The crinkle-cut fries were fried to crispy perfection. The quahog and chowder get a true New England stamp of approval (I grew up here and now live in the Philly area, so I know what I'm talking about). The fish and chips portions were enormous, golden, crispy, and delicious. Even though the inside was packed, the staff cranked up the heaters and gave us the patio all to ourselves, which was a great touch and showed how much they care about their guests. The place has a classic New England feel, bringing back memories of growing up camping at Normandy Farms down the road. The owners were welcoming and genuinely hospitable, which really set this place apart. Fantastic food, nostalgic vibes, and top-notch hospitality. On to see the Tom Brady statue -- Go Pats!
