They call back and say that the car needs some $700 service work done at the 30k mile mark. This apparently is an oil change, tire rotation, AND they change your air filters and windshield wipers. I tell them NO and stop by the Advance Auto Parts down the road and replace the air filters and wipers in their parking lot and save about $500. They did suggest a new battery but wanted $190 to replace it. Advance Auto Parts sold me one of their best for $90, installed it free and gave me a 3 year replacement warranty. Another $100 I'll keep. I know it's an Acura and all, but this place never fails to shock me at the prices they charge. i guess some people must let them do this otherwise they wouldn't tell me these ridiculous prices with a straight face. I'd have given them 1 star, but they did fix the wire for free.
