My experience: I had a 2023 Tacoma that I was in contact with Kevin about. I called to make sure the truck was a manual . He said it was and that he personally saw it. Kevin called back and left a vmail that is was a typo and it is an automatic. I called back and he said I could leave a deposit for the truck assuming they would honor the online price (32,985). Kevin said "Yes, we have to honor our online price and advised it would be higher $34k out the door. He said he would call back for the FaceTime required before the deposit. Kevin called back and said he was sorry but his manger Tim Lang took a deposit for it already. He was not able tot give a clear answer on a few things, but would reach out if it changed and said he was sorry as he "could hear the disappointment in my voice". Later that night the listing changed to 42,990. Had my friend call the next and see if it was available. Barbra advised my friend it was available and has had no deposits on it. They even sent him a video of the truck. If the price was wrong and needed to be adjusted, I get that. However, advising a customer that you will honor a price, then having a deposit taken be the reason it falls through, and going up on the price moments later, appears to be bad faith practices. I did reach out to the sales manager, Tim and the owner, Bill but have had no response.

I believe they pulled it straight from a auction without fixing ANYTHING before selling! I asked them was it ready to be sold because it still had a auction sticker on the windshield and they said yes! WISH I HAD TOOK IT TO ANOTHER MECHANIC FIRST BEFORE DROPPING ALMOST 5,000 DOWN PAYMENT! They got There mechanic to fix the heat AND IT STILL DONT WORK PROPERLY! AND HE didn't do anything about the strange jerk, shift factor and said they didn't notice it when they had it. I tried getting ahold of them a few times in the past month about this jerk that they new of but no reply so i took it to a mechanic in the area and was told this truck has a blown head gasket and bad injectors causing the jerk and loss of power! After calling ruch auto back about this they said they WASN'T GOING TO DO NOTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE WE ARE ALMOST 3 MONTHS IN WITH THE TRUCK EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW THIS TRUCK HAD ISSUES GOING ON BECAUSE I MADE THEM FULLY AWARE OF THIS AND HAVE TEXT MESSAGES TO PROVE IT!! Now i have a estimate of over 5,000 to have it fixed!! Getting ready to file court proceedings to deal with this! The ad was well written and illustrated, and our phone call was answered promptly. Upon visiting the site in Burlington, we found a neat sales yard displaying a number of clean vehicles and backed by a small sales office. Mr. Andi Kastrati awaited us and invited us to explore the van at our leisure and even take a test drive. He was able to answer our many questions and made us a purchase offer that we ultimately accepted. During our association with Mr. Kastrati, we found him knowledgeable, both on the minivan being sold, but also of the NC state purchasing process. In our meetings, we grew to appreciate his attention to detail and proficiency in handling our concerns and questions. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, its history, and the reputation for similar vehicles and his history with them. We encountered none of the dreaded pushy attitudes or hyper promotions often associated with the used car business. In short, he was very customer oriented. Thus to us, he reflected positively for the auto sales business in this community. We would commend any reader to Kastrati Auto in any future search for a used car in the Greensboro area.

When I asked Elizabeth what the $2995 markup (on a new vehicle that was on the lot over 300 days) she told me it was automatic based on sales of other dealerships. Did not make any sense. Then when I asked for a best OTD price, they quote me a number higher than their website shows. The quoted best price was the MSRP from the window sticker. It is no wonder that they have so many vehicles on the lot for 200 to 300 plus days. I was able to get them to finally quote me what their website showed as a price but then they added $995 to that price for some kind of miracle protection. Old school dealer gimmicks that most buyers today do not want to deal with.
