This review concerns the Service department at County Ford, rather than the Sales department (which I'm sure is also just great). My partner has a 2013 Focus Se. With less than 100,000 miles, she ran into a manufacturing flaw that impacted some of the Focuses from that year. After getting opinions and estimates from other trusted local mechanics, we brought her Focus to county Ford. Their service department head, Richie was very patient with our many questions and our obvious frustration, after being without a family vehicle for some time. Richie was careful to explain the details of the problem to us in layman's terms and really bent over backwards for us to resolve the issue. We were astounded at the level of personal care given to us to understand our situation and to make it right. If I could put 0 stars, I would. This is a horrible place to do business. The only part I liked about this place was the sales assistant who helped us find a truck. She was sweet, I can't remember her name. The part that was horrible was the financing. My son was adamant about getting a F150. We found one he liked and needed me as a co-signer. The day to do the paperwork, I was not with him. He was only able to put $1000 dollars down that day as that what the bank would allow. I went with him a week later to put down the rest of the money. We worked with Dulce and I'm not a fan. She caught an attitude first when I told her we didn't want the RESISTALL as it was OPTIONAL AND $999! She made a lot of awkward conversation and quickly went through the paperwork. She kept talking about random topics and was distracting. (Probably for a reason). She said we owed another $2000 dollars with a $75 processing fee. We paid that and she said she would send the paperwork through email as she did not have anymore USB drives to put it on. We never received any paperwork. About 2 weeks later, my son kept getting phone calls saying we still owed $750. Dulce never mentioned this money when we signed the paperwork. She said she "thought we needed more time to gather the $750". This was not true. I called the lending company and they said they had everything they needed. I then spoke with someone else at County Ford about the situation and he was rude saying "your son was well aware of how much he owed" and did not care that Dulce made the mistake. I asked Dulce that day we were there if there was anything else they needed from us and she said "no, you're good to go". Don't go here because they're rude and disorganized. I highly recommend Cox Toyota close by. They're amazing, clear, and professional, County Ford is not. And my son has had this truck for about 3 weeks or so, and it's having problems. Not sure that I recommend this dealership. They add on to the window sticker $2995 and then use that grossed up number to show a discount. When I asked Elizabeth what the $2995 markup (on a new vehicle that was on the lot over 300 days) she told me it was automatic based on sales of other dealerships. Did not make any sense. Then when I asked for a best OTD price, they quote me a number higher than their website shows. The quoted best price was the MSRP from the window sticker. It is no wonder that they have so many vehicles on the lot for 200 to 300 plus days. I was able to get them to finally quote me what their website showed as a price but then they added $995 to that price for some kind of miracle protection. On the day of my purchase I had my own loan and was very specific that I did not need financing but a Italian finance person came In and pitched me anyway bringing distractions to my buying process. Vito or Vinny was his name. Next i was then told that a customer came in to buy my vehicle for cash and took it for a test drive. So I asked the question am I being punked? I was informed that the guy was legit but I also felt like they're trying to push the process to make sure I signed the contract right away. I did sign the contract but that was a natural unusual pressures being applied and I felt like it was coming from the dealership. But the distraction I believe also prevented my salesperson from doing the due diligence of explaining my purchase including the warranty completely. Because I literally expressed my unbelief in Auto watches I feel like they're scams for just getting more bonus money for the salesperson. And here in this case I ended up with a $1,900 warranty for 24 months protection without the mileage being emphasized nor covered and at the same time well I had a piece of mind because that particular vehicle did have a check engine light on during the test drive that the store did fix. And I could have gone to any other dealer and purchase something somewhere else because I never had this issue before and I have owned cars from Sir Walter Rick Hendricks University Ford CarMax and others. So what concessions can County Ford make given the fact that I was sold without full explanation a warranty that was nowhere close to covering the numbers of miles that I drive it a year? Cuz had I even been asked about the numbers of miles that I drive in a year's time then it would have been noted that I needed a different level of coverage. I'm in the same business for 30 years I do pretty much all the same things every year so I know I drive more than 12,000 miles a year and like I would never buy lease car which limits how far you can travel in a year's time I would not knowingly put myself into a warranty that does essentially the same thing as a lease limit my driving. Since there is ZERO contact information that I can find to contact someone with authority at County Ford, I have no choice but to share with everyone. I have had my 2007 Ford Explorer at this dealership FIVE times because it will not start....FIVE times they throw something at it and call it done. They keep the vehicle for extra days and tell me its starts for them (I am seriously doubting this claim) Yet as soon as I get it home....NO START. Their response is for me to pay for a tow to get it back to them. I asked you to fix something you have not fixed, I dont owe the tow, you do. I picked up my vehicle for the 5th time on Friday, and guess what? No Start. I will say though, Sam has been good to work with, shes always positive and good to talk to. I worked with JOHAN to purchase a preowned vehicle. His offer was $21K for my trade in and $29K for the vehicle I'm interested in. This was all so I can stay within my budget. However the written agreement I was given was completely different. After 3 hours of negotiations he DECEITFULLY changed the numbers to $20.5 K for my trade in and $30.5K for the vehicle I'm interested in. This is a lot of money if you have a tight budget. This place is a TOTAL SCAM. A bunch of DISHONEST people who PREY on you to make a living. They lost my business for good. 0 stars. This is the worst of the worst of the worst imaginable typical dealership. Run away screaming! Years ago, my wife got a beautiful pre-owned silver mustang with a moon roof and keyless entry. Also got the maintenance plan for "free" oil changes. My wife takes it in for one of those oil changes. So when would that be? about 6 months in? The tech goes to reset the oil counter in the instrument cluster and accidentally activated the "MyKey" feature. This sets a specific keyfob to be permanently limited on acceleration, top speed, and even radio volume! The idea is that this is the only key you'll trust your kids with and only the parent's master key can avoid these restrictions. We we only had 1 keyfob. They had just sold it to us that way with no extra keys and everything was fine until they messed with it. They reluctantly cleared all the key info and reprogrammed the 1 keyfob we had as the new master key. We're happy and on our way. Realized soon after that the remote start no longer works. Obviously the remote start requires security access to the car systems, it needs some type of programming trick just like a keyfob. Easy fix for a car guy right? Bring it back to the service department. They take their best shot. Come out and tell my wife with a straight face that they didn't mess up the remote start and it doesn't look like it ever functioned. They just sold us the the car off of that same lot mere months earlier and demonstrated the remote start system proudly before we purchased it! We were not amused to say the least. Their techs NEVER could figure it out. A FORD dealership could not fix the remote start on a MUSTANG that THEY SOLD US! They replaced that entire remote start module with a different model that their techs had experience with and you best believe that was at ZERO cost to us! You think that's bad? You haven't heard ANYTHING yet! Years later we notice this lot and only this lot had a deal on a 2021 Mustang Mach-E 24000 miles or so. I know, I know. It's our own fault. How bad could it be? This is Ford's flagship effort to compete head to head with Tesla. No matter how bad this lot is, this is just a simple deal on a used car. We don't have high expectations. We want to try the Mach-E and if it doesn't work out, we'll sell it and try something else. We bought it only SIX MONTHS AGO. It sort-of worked sometimes but Ford continuously breaks every feature under the sun with software updates. And the entire touchscreen system starts crashing and rebooting WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING! Took it in today to look at our options on a trade-in. We just want out. Trade in value is $16k. Less than half of the sticker price on a USED car from 6 months ago. That's right, that's a genuine FORD dealership with a dozen or more BRAND NEW Mach-E's on the lot right now and also F-150 Lightnings for sale I'm sure. The mask is off now and they are just admitting right to our faces that the car they just sold us 6 months ago is absolutely worthless. We expect to be screwed like that on a new car purchase. That's why we wanted the deal on the used one. How bad does a 2021 car have to be for that? Never mind that we bought it used. Some sucker had to buy it new. It's still a 2021 model that's not wrecked, looks great, low mileage. You know about what that original sticker price was. Bottom line is that the Mach-E is swirling the drain and Ford knows it. Run away screaming! The sticker price is a complete fiction - monopoly money at its finest. But they would be happy to roll all of our negative equity into a new deal if we can just show up with a huge down payment. You should ask why on earth did we go back there? Well, basically, it's just an honest chance to show us who they really are and boy did they. We wanted a reasonable used hybrid SUV that was on the lot across town. They called for us to check on it. You are never going to believe this, but a couple just showed up at that lot and is looking at the car we like so it's not available for a test drive at the moment, but they have some other good ones to show us. Really, have I ever heard that at a dealership before? I remained as nice and calm as possible. Went right over to that other lot and bought it on the spot. Same day. No down payment. No trade in. No other interested parties. They had to wash it before we test drove it because obviously it hasn't had any interested parties in a while! Ford Motor Credit now has a very pretty Mach-E to come repossess. It will be a cold day in Hell before we make another payment on it. read more

Took my daughter to County Ford, she has had her eye on a vehicle there. We had an appointment with Nathan Spoon, as we were talking to him a previous customer had an issue. We were then move to the next sales person, which was Raheem he helped us out. That was a great experience. I'm giving this post a two star because of the fact that he helped us however, before being moved to that sales person, Nathan spoke about student discount. If you look at the picture that I attached, they include RESISTALL without telling you it's optional. A lady by the name of Jessica that works there showed us the paperwork and | questioned her about it after doing my research. I told her that this is optional. I've bought cars in the past and never needed that. She kept trying to persuade me that it's already in there with the car, which is BS.. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure it's a great thing to put on the car. If you plan on reselling later on but it is optional, and it is something that should be told to the customer. After telling them to take it off the bill, they did, but did not offer her a student discount because they lost out on that $999 that was optional. Make sure you read everything. They are trying to charge you for before signing anything with them. read more

We will NEVER buy from them again. To say they are less than honest is an understatement. Did you know that $53,000 less $1,000 plus $999 equals $55,999? Yeah, neither did I. CHECK THEIR MATH AND CHECK IT AGAIN. They tried to add the $1,000 we got for a trade instead of subtracting it, then somehow added in an extra $1,000 on top of it. Glad I got my calculator out. Second, it was miraculous how our interest rate dropped almost 2% once they applied some "coupons" when we were reconsidering because of the payment. Third, the truck was missing floormats. We were told to come back on Monday and they would have them. They couldn't find the one's for our truck so they gave us some out of another truck and they don't even fit. Fourth, they have our trade listed at almost $12K over what they gave us. And much higher than KBB has it listed. Stock # 221141B. This is a great truck, but they are royally screwing you on the price. What a bunch of crooks. We should have walked away, but you live and learn. Oh, and the online price magically changed, increased $500 when we checked it while they were working numbers. It's not them, it's the computer system is the answer we got. read more

Just thought Id share this here also, in case you are making the bad decision of buying a car from County Ford in Graham NC. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a service team. I had warranty work done to the vehicle and now more problems than ever before. I hope you hear my warning as I didnt hear so many warnings from others to not buy a Ford. You really treat your customers like they are incompetent and liars, when in 9 months of owning the vehicle and 12k miles have had no issues, until warranty work is done. Really? Do not ever purchase a vehicle from these people. Today I took my Bronco back into them to inquire about outside issues stemming from warranty repairs done to the factory paint failure at delivery. The paint issue has been going on since February and it was finally resolved and approved for warranty work with their third party on Aug 22nd. the vehicle was driven by a county ford representative from their dealership in Graham to High Point where the repairs would be done. Kristan Johnson the warranty manager at County Ford assured me the paint would be done properly. Well the paint came back perfect, it really did, however the new problems far outweigh the paint issue I had. On August 30th I emailed Kristan to let her know that while at the body shop my app was alerting me that 1) Hill Assist warning failure 2) Service Engine soon warning 3) Blind spot detection with cross traffic were coming up on my phone. When I spoke to her and Ashleigh in service, they assured me that that was just because the battery was disconnected when they had to spray the paint on the vehicle. Not according to Larry Walker and Sons and speaking with Daniel today, He stated they plugged something into the OBDII scanner to set off and test things. He also stated that Kristan called to check why the check engine light was still on once at the dealership. So here are the issues that County Ford, Kristan and Brandon in service and warranty are denying is their or Larry walkers fault 1) My car alarm keeps going off by itself, 4 times yesterday Sept 5th to be exact and last time was at 2:30 am 2) my Key fob was severely damaged between The day i dropped it off Aug 22 and the day i picked it up Sept 2nd. To which the Panic button no longer works but all other buttons work. TO which when asked what I would like to be done, I stated id like the key to be repaired or replaced, Brandon said I am NOT fixing your Key I am NOT fixing your key. 3) The door that was sprayed is misaligned. Could that be causing the issue of the alarm, who knows. County Ford claims it was like that, ok, if thats the case then thats another warranty issue that needs to be repaired from the factory. But I know my car that wasnt like that 4) the trunk top would not close into a locking position because the catches were not placed properly. This is most likely due to the misaligned soft top frame that was caused by the repair shop. never had this problem before I had to physically adjust the frame down as it had a gap to where my had would fit in it and that wasnt there before. 5) A rubber gasket is now missing its security pins 2 of them to hold the gasket in place 6) With all the alerts that were set off by the scanner at larry walkers, do you think that maybe it could have cause an electrical issue in the bronco? I was warned to not buy a Ford and against my better judgement I did. The car was great. We have had it from Jan 13th 2022 and I have not had a single issue with the vehicle other than a poor paint job on the vehicle. We have 12k miles on it. After getting the car back from the body shop we have a plethora of issues. All by the way are covered under warranty. So for these clowns to say they are NOT going to fix it, we will see about that Brandon. Shows me the quality of people you are dealing with at County Ford in Graham. read more

I purchased a car there on 11/29/22, 11 days later on 12/10/21 it was broke down with check engine light on. I called sales, GM and service center, they refused to fix, have told my husband and I multiple lies, given us the run around, kept me on hold for 45 mins plus, Gm hasn't called me back after multiple voicemails left, as of today I towed my vehicle away to have fix due to the service manager telling me that county Ford does not fix Santa Fe's, they have given me multiple stories. I am here to tell you after they get your money they do not back their vehicles, I have called the better business bureau, Diane Wilson and a lawyer. County Ford service department is the most aggravating place to deal with. Make sure you see one of the ladies but even then Good Luck because they can only say what the men have told them (not their faults). I've had a situation with my truck for awhile now and I took it in there to have it diagnosed and told them they were going to have to drive it for about 30+ minutes. Well they must take me for being born yeaterday because when I got it back I asked them about it and they said it didn't happen while driving it. WELL...I get into my truck and they had only deiven it 10 miles...that's right...10 miles. Well now it has done it again and I call and..."well you are just going to have to wait until it stays on." Me- "doesn't it get save into the computer?" Him- "I don't know." After being talked to like I was a dumb female I put my husband on the phone.
