Really enjoyed the pleasant conversation and the careful attention to my feet which were in pretty bad shape. And again I think just being in a tranquil interior added a lot to my relaxation. She instead recommended I do the YonKa dry skin facial which is actually cheaper than what I originally booked. I love that she picked what would be best for my skin without trying to upsell a more expensive facial. I'm not well versed in skin care so I really liked that Kayelyn walked me through everything she was doing and the reasons why. Most times you just lay there in silence and while I do like sometimes to just relax and fall asleep, I really appreciated the skin care education and I was still able to relax as well. But I feel like I have a better idea of what my skin needs and how I can achieve it. The only reason I'm rating this 4.5/5 stars is because I normally like some lip care during my facials and this was lacking that. I really liked the essential oil toner she used and ended up purchasing it afterwards. The scent is heavenly and made my skin feel great. I normally don't purchase skin care products after my facials but I really liked the YonKa brand products she used on my face. I showed up on time, but due to a number of people checking out and checking in, I settled into my room more than 10 minutes late. My massage was actually really good, but it ended more than 10 minutes early - which ultimately 20 minutes shorter than I paid for in total, given the late start. I was also charged $30 more for my massage than the rate published online ($140 for a 90 min massage). My friend went for a facial a week before me and said that her service ended more than 10 minutes early too. Overall, good massage but felt ripped off given I was overcharged $30 and the massage was cut short by ~25%. Will not be returning and for those of you who go - be really explicit on the timing / duration of your service.

They had a walk-in that ran late so the room I was going to be was occupied so I had to wait about 15mins past my appointment time, but the receptionist was kind. There's a room that's in the lobby area, which was mine and I was nervous about how loud it would be because there was also work being done on the railroad tracks which are right next to the building. They quickly turned over the sheets when the appointment before me was over. The overall massage was good, Vincent had different techniques than what I was used to that helped with my trigger points. I'm not sure if he ran out of time though or if this was just his style but he didn't massage my arms or neck area when I was laying on my back. He did spend a long time on my back though which was helpful because that's where most of my tension was. I also liked that he didn't do the exact same thing on each side, it felt truly customized to where my tension was and what my body needed. He used hot towels too, which were a nice touch to help relax my muscles. He also provided me some neck stretches I can do to help release tension. Since it was my first time tanning I did the level 5 bed for 10 of the 12 min and think I will go back and do it for the full 12 min. I TAN well as I don't burn easy, but it takes a lot of tanning to darken so this may be a lot for some. They will help you find your bed and number. I'm happy with my results. When I first got finished I didn't really see a difference and she explained I would darken as the day went on and I have :) easy finding a parking space, not far off the 64 exit and even with other customers coming in, everything was explained to each of us and it was not much of a wait at all.
