Several years ago with a renovation we had our wells re-done and enlarged. Large and nice metal grates were installed but leaves and critters (birds, frogs and rabbits) continued falling in and I'd have to rescue. Looking at various big box stores and doing online searches, there were no good options. Nothing was exact size and almost everything looked cheap. Fortunately through a marketing flyer in the mail I came across Well Covered. They (Vic and Oscar) were very responsive. Based on providing rough size dimensions they provided me a quote that was very reasonable. After agreeing to the estimate, they came out and cut all 4 plastic covers to the exact dimensions of each grate. The covering is high quality and they attach each with screws and clips. Super professional look on top of our nice grates, plus they even cleaned out the existing debris (and more frogs!) while they were at it. Don't even waste your time looking at big box stores or online if you are looking for quality well covers at a fair price. Go straight to Well Covered, you will be glad you did. read more

You know you're getting old when you get excited about new window well covers! I needed new window well covers and am so happy I called Well Covered. Vic and Cole were great! They cut the covers to size on site and cleaned out my window wells. They put the marble rocks that I had bought into the wells and took the rusty old metal grate covers with them. The whole job took about half an hour and they both were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! read more

I can't say enough great things about this company! I reached out to them over Yelp, sent pictures of my window wells, got a quote for four window wells, and they called to set up a time to come out within a week. They arrived during the two-hour block previously discussed on the phone and were done quickly. The work is phenomenal and I couldn't be happier! I've been walking around looking at other window wells in my neighborhood and they look cheap and are even falling apart already. I waited a long time to do my own because I didn't want to deal with buying and installing something that didn't look good or last. The covers installed by this company are streamlined, effective, and look great. I can't recommend this company enough! What could've been a long, drawn out process was easy and my house looks fantastic! Thank you!!!!!!!!! read more

I contacted this company to ask about a window well replacement or repair. I explained that the top of our window well was cracked and I thought it could be repaired. They wanted to come out, dig it out, and replace it right away, complete with a new top to it. No consideration was given to the possibility of a repair. My husband and I determined that no water was going into the basement other than what could get into the top crack of the metal well (which did not go into the soil) and repaired it ourself. I'm guessing someone walked on the edge of our well, although the top is completely intact. The well remains dry, 6 months later --so, if I wanted to spend $1000 replacing a window well right away, this company would be great! If you just want a repair solution that costs less--go else where. read more

I received a quick response and was provided a very reasonably priced quote over the phone. The team came over this past Friday and got to work right away. They were in and out in a short amount of time and the quality of the well cover is amazing. read more

I'd give this company more than 5 stars if I could. When we built our house almost 10 years ago our builder chose to install a Wellcraft Egress Window so we could create a guest bedroom in out basement. I am so glad he did. Our cover became damaged after a very stormy night and was discoloring too. It still worked okay but with guest coming to stay with us we decided it should be replaced. In researching where to get a replacement I noticed the company had a life time warranty on the cover. I submitted a warranty claim (which was extremely easy to do) but thought like most companies they would try to find a way to deny the claim. So, we decided to order a replacement from Menard's right away. To our surprise the very next morning (Monday) I was informed the company accepted the warranty claim and would ship on out in 4-6 weeks. Our guest was coming in about a month so I was in a dilemma on weather or not to cancel my Menards order. To my surprise I received the replacement cover from Wellcraft that Friday already. I was able to cancel the Menards order but needed to pay a 25% restocking fee. Still very happy with the customer service at Wellcraft. read more

I wish we had done this 2 years ago when we moved in. This company is great. Their response time was quick. They set up time to arrive. They were very professional. The end product looks so much better than the old grate. The value is well worth it. read more

On time, good value. Didn't try and over sell us on what needed to be done. Cleaned up after themselves, we're careful not to step on the flowers. We got a lot of wood and talked to a lot of people, these guys were by far the most professional and the only ones that I would recommend! read more

I called them and they gave me an estimate over the phone by the measurements I gave them. Well Covered came out the following week. Cut the covers to the size of my wells and installed them in less than 1 hour. He was professional and very pleasant. My window wells are covered and look great. They are heavy duty and ready for a lifetime.Their pricing was very reasonable for what you receive. I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for window well covers. read more

Oscar and his crew were at my home today to install four covers. They were professional, efficient and did a great job overall. Oscar's cost was comparable to a couple other companies I received proposals from but his professionalism is what sold me. I would highly recommend them. Thank you Oscar for making this project painless. All the best to you! read more

Called and spoke to someone last week and the job was completed within seven days. The company came out the day they promised and cleaned out the window well and left the bags and old window well for us to dispose of. Only four stars because my husband stood on the window well to make sure it was strong and it started to give a little with one foot so I don't think it can hold as much weight as stated. Really happy with the company, would buy from again. read more

I had Well Covered install four window well covers four years ago, and they have held up beautifully. Even with the covers, a chipmunk managed to get into one of my window wells. I called Well Covered, and even though they did the installation four years ago, they showed up the next day without question or complaint to retrieve the chipmunk and check out the integrity of the cover. That was fantastic customer service, and I wanted make sure they were recognized for it. read more

They arrived when they said they would and immediately got to work. We had two window wells that needed replacement covers installed on, and they were able to get them done within a half hour. The covers look great, and they still let a lot of light into our basement. I would suggest using them if you need new window well covers for sure! read more

My new window wells make the whole house look better maintained and crisper. They have a good seal so I think it may help with some water leaking in during really bad storms. From inside my basement, the clear window wells are letting in more light than the hardware store cheap ones did. Each window well is fitted to that window well. One window well is an emergency exit so I was shown how easily you could push any of them out in an emergency. The two men came just when they said they would, worked quickly, and left no mess behind. They took the time to make sure I was satisfied. The price is not cheap compared to the ones at the hardware store but the quality is exceptional. read more

After seeing my review I received a phone call from the owner apologizing for the misunderstanding. He refunded all of the extra charges, even after I told him that I didn't think that was necessary. After calling three different window well cover companies, I'm extremely happy that I selected this one. They gave me a two hour window for when they would arrive and worked with my schedule. Having six window well covered cleaned out, fitted, and installed took around 2 hours. They also found a group of toads living in my one well and took the time to collect them then move them to some place safe. Overall, very happy and I would select them again. read more

Incredible service, fantastic price and very good product. When the guys came out they cleaned my well, put bags of loose pebbles down (that I had bought earlier) and washed the windows. Moved into my house a couple of months ago. Can't believe that in the 25 years that the house has existed no one bothered to put window well covers on. Saw Well Covered Window Wells, Inc in the clipper magazine. I emailed them a request for an estimate and had the estimate within a couple of hours. Was scheduled for Monday, October 7. Yesterday I got an email asking if they could come today. That was great. Oscar showed up and immediately went to work. After he installed the covers he cleaned everything up. I am very happy with the work and they look great. They are far better than those flimsy plastic things they sell at the big box stores. What service! Found these guys online, and left a message. They followed up promptly and installed within 5 days. The guys were courteous and installed and cleaned 4 wells and covers as promised and quoted. They were in and out within 1 hour. Per the other review, while there is some give (it's reinforced lexan not steel) I have no doubt about its strength to hold the weight of an adult. Their installed price was VERY competitive compared to the of the shelf products locally or online. Highly recommend! read more

We had Well Covered come out ready to install for us. They were very response and nice throughout the quote and appointment process. Turns out that the placement of our windows to the window wells would result in us taking off the covers every time we open the windows or have a gap, which would defeat the purpose. Oscar, one of the partners, was so honest about it, resulting no business for them. I felt badly that I wasted their time and he was so nice about it! read more

Happy with my experience. Easy to contact and set up install. Install was complete within a week of first phone call. I had 5 custom covers installed, they look good. They are sturdy. A much better option than what was at the hardware stores; I tried a few, and nothing fit. They even came back for a small adjustment-free of charge with no questions asked. I would recommend a friend, or use "Well Covered" again!!! Thanks! read more

We purchased a new single family home in Pingree Grove. Other neighbors recommended Well Covered, so we decided to go with them. They were great! I called them in the morning and since they had a crew in the area, they were able to squeeze me in for two window well covers. Their crew arrived and did the cut, assembly and installation, on-site. They cleaned up the area afterwards and were done in 20-30 minutes. Their prices seem fair, compared to others, their customer service has been excellent so far! read more

10 years later and no problems. Window well covers are still tight and wells are clean of debris. Very professional. Highly recommend.
