So it took about 8 months to get installed. I understand there can be issues getting the parts necessary and I have cox so I was ok with the wait. Finally got the install on 3 days ago and here I an on my very reliable cox gigabit connection writing this review because WeLink has been out every morning since the install. Of course I when through the resetting/power cycle of the modem/router and after a few tries it worked the first two days but has not worked today. When the connection worked it was not great.. I say that because I experienced lagging while gaming on a wired connection and only 3 other devices connected to the network which were not in use at that time. I really wished they delivered what they promised because I am not a fan of Cox's price increases which never seem to stop. read more

My frustration with Cox and CenturyLink ended when WeLink came into neighborhood. I live in Neighborhood that only has slo-mo CenturyLink (no fiber optics), and overpriced, and undependable Cox. Yes, I had both of those carriers, and never did I get 1GB with Cox, not even close. I will say, it is a process to get WeLink because I had to wait a couple of months for them to set up in my area, but their Customer Service was amazing in keeping in contact with updates on their service. When they did, it was a pretty quick and detailed. When I finally got set up, it was snap setting, and I was getting nearly 600mb on both up and download. I will admit, it had a couple of small heck ups in the first week, but customer service had a very professional technician came to the house within the hour and readjust the units. It's now passed a month and half, and I didn't have any issues since that first week. Even when we had those thunder and lighting storms this past week, WeLink didn't shut off...which I thought it would, At 65.00 a month (with two free disc), it's make Cox look bad, and CenturyLink at 49.00 (plus extra rental of their modem/router) but with an awesome 40mb service. I had been waiting for an alternative to Cox cable for my internet service. When the We link representative "Cory" stopped by my house and told me there was an alternative. I was interested. Corey explained Welink worked by installing a very small transmitter/receiver on my roof. Corey also promised blazing fast internet speed for a very large reduction in my monthly bill as compared to what I was paying now. Well it's been a month and I must say the service is excellent ! Super fast and super reliable. I am cutting the cord from the cable company by utilizing some streaming apps via my super fast internet. I will be saving over $100 a month. Not only is the internet fast but it works everywhere on my property. Even in the garage and outside. I really got to thank the representative Cory for explaining everything for me so that I would try Welink. Cory even told me he could help my friends get the service as we link was expanding into new areas. I contacted WeLink Wireless Internet LAST YEAR on July 20, 2020 regarding getting internet service installed in my home upon based on a recommendation from my neighbor. What transpired over the last 15 months is appalling! Be wary...here's my documented nightmare! 7/20/2020: Received "Welcome" email explaining their program and installation process. I called (844) 285-9434 to find out their timeline for installation and was told it would be 2-3 months before they would be in my neighborhood. 8/20/2020: I called (844) 285-9434 their customer support line and spoke with Bree to see if there was any updates. She said she would check with the network planner as to when they would be in my area and email me. NEVER heard back from her or WeLink. 10/3/2020: I called (844) 285-9434 and spoke with Customer Service Supervisor, Kissin for an update. She said they would be in my area "before the end of the year" and would be in contact. 3/9/2021: I called (844) 285-9434 and spoke with Customer Service Supervisor, Kissin again for an update as I hadn't heard anything in 5 months. She said that they had encountered funding issues and it is now pushed out 6 - 8 months longer, but they'd be in contact...and she apologize. 6/21/2021: I called (844) 285-9434 and spoke with Braeden, Kissin is not there today. He said they are active in my area now and he was gonna talk to scheduling and have them contact me. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM!! 10/18/2021: I called (844) 285-9434 and spoke with Jordan, I asked to speak to Kissin and he said he doesn't know who that is. I explained all the above to him and he told me "they were no longer selling in my area". I said "What?" He said they are no longer in my area and are not selling. After being on hold for several minutes, he came back on the line and said he spoke with Justin Trujillo, a Customer Service Manager and he told him to tell me that Henderson was a "Legacy" site and they don't know when they will be back in my area. Jordan said "If I wanted to still speak to him, he would tell me the same thing". I don't know how this business is in business. This is very poor customer service and I have been very patient up until today. If this is the kind of customer service you receive just trying to get service with them, I can't imagine how it will be if you were to actually have problems and need customer service. After paying a higher rate for 40 months, I started having problems with their service. Instead of fixing the problem, they simply terminated my service, months before my bill was to be cut in half. Truly one of the most insulting sustained customer service experiences I have ever had. In December 2021 I signed up to join this network. After an initial hardware install inside the house, I was told that there would be some additional hardware needed on the outside of the house. By March 2022, I had not heard anything. Calling WeLink I found that they were having supply issues...understandable, but annoying I had to call to find this out. By May 2022, I called again. WeLink was eager to set me up now that I contacted them. A tech came out to the house, said there was no line of sight (LOS) and left. Two weeks later, WeLink actually called me and said they were ready to set me up. I reminded the person on the phone that someone had come out and to make sure to check with the previous tech before sending someone out again. They were thankful for that info and said they would get back to me. By June 2022, I called back asking someone to come out and remove all the equipment since I was tired of doing all the legwork for WeLink. While here, the tech called his management to find out what kind of package I could be offered to eventually become a customer -- the response was that my house isn't important enough to the network so I was not needed as a customer. I thought I was done with WeLink, but in July 2022, a WeLink rep came to my house to follow up with customers who 'may have fallen off the radar.' I explained that WeLink had already taken all of their hardware out of my house as well as any respect or good will they may have thought they had. read more

They came to my door to sell their service and I thought it was a good idea to give it a shot to compare to Cox. They said they were coming to my neighborhood and would keep me informed as to when they would be installing. I got a message that my appointment was being canceled but I never had an appointment so I called to clarify. They had no idea why I was never notified of an appointment but throughout the day I was receiving random messages that my appointment was canceled. I finally sent a message to let them know I was no longer interested. Maybe once they get established and hire people that know what is actually going on with their company, I will give it some thought at that time. It took a little while for the installation because everything was backed up. It is a new company, so you have to be patient, it's worth the wait. I'm in the Enterprise area who signed up in late June, and had service up until September... It took about 3 grueling frustrating months for me. I was skeptical about the antenna on the roof, and with the random wind storms we get in Vegas, surprisingly I have no issues at all, but I would with Cox, as many of you know what I'm talking about, they'd go down for whatever reason periodically, and are a pain to get a hold of. I was also concerned about the antenna being invasive looking or ugly like a satellite on the side or the house; to my surprise, you can't even tell it's there, even if you could see your house from afar, its low profile design makes it unnoticeable. In the end, 4 months later, Im paying less money for faster on average reliable home internet, than I would get with cox. No issues at all so far, and they give free mesh routers. I was paying $80+ for cox to have 100 mbs down capped at 2tb, which I went over because I watch a lot of online streaming videos, and games. Now I'm paying $70 flat for unlimited data on average 400mbs down no caps. For a new company, not bad at all... Just waiting for them to start running on IPV6 so we can get those gigabit speeds on average.... This is definitely a much better obvious alternative to get rid of big cable, especially for those who don't subscribe to TV and home phones. My advice is to be patient with them, but also keep pressing them, they will come. Again, they're backed up, and they're new, but the outcome will be worth it. Also, don't be a KAREN. read more

The price they charge is a lot better than reasonable and the service being connected was just fine with me. Made an appointment for next week ... they came in installed everything and all was good for one hour. Called their help line multiple times and left them a voice message and also emailed them (thank god I had not cancelled the other provider). Just got off the phone and guess what, they do not cover my area yet and basically I am out of luck till enough people sign up and they can activate my area... so what I am to do in the meantime is anyone's guess. Easily the best decision I've ever made! I made the switch over to Welink out of spite for Cox. Now I have the best internet service I have ever had at a super inexpensive cost. The speeds they promised I actually get with out fail! I took a few weeks to get installed as they were newly in our area but it was well worth the wait! They even GAVE us two wifi mesh routers rather then having to rent from them. No instal fees, no upfront costs like seriously????I was worried it was to good to be true but it ended up being the best choice for my home I have made to date. I have had them over a year now and will stay with them as long as I am alive. Promises made by welink have held up. The complete opposite of what Cox is as an ISP. read more

Terrible! Had a WeLink Tech come to our house last year (2021) and install some equipment. The tech said we'd get a call in 2 to 3 weeks to have another tech come out and finalize everything. They never called, emailed, nothing. An entire year has gone by and we still can not get a hold of them. Both my wife and I have called them numerous times and sent several emails asking them to come remove their equipment and fix the holes they put in our walls. I said in an email that if I did not receive an response soon, that I would rip the equipment out myself and throw it in the garbage. It's been a month since that last email. I don't recommend hiring them. They never finished installation and apparently they don't give a flying fuck about customers or their equipment. read more

I signed up for WeLink back in either November or December. They came out and installed what looks like a power supply and an outside equipment box months ago. Was told they will contact me soon. Here we are in June and still no service. I called a couple times and they told me there was a delay. I asked when to expect it and they said they had to speak to their installers and would call me back. Guess what? No call back and still no service. I have seen them in the neighborhood installing equipment on other houses but not mine. I'm actually considering other alternatives if there are any. The salesman convinced me that speed would be 750Mbps compared to 1Gbps Cox. I agreed to install WeLink as a tryout. Speed does not go above 200 Mbps. Tech support spent time with me to no avail. Neighbors on my street today were having WeLink radios installed, so I talked to the technician and my neighbors. It all sounded good, so I called WeLink and they told me the service wasn't available in my area. I said, well your techs are across the street at my neighbor's house installing right now. Even though WeLink's CSR ( Jordan ) explained the situation and it makes sense, I was a little disappointed. Apparently, they do very carefully planned ( in advance ) build outs only when they have enough requests for service in a given area. Which means they don't have a traditional service ( like a cable company ) where you can just call to initiate service, you have to wait on a list and wait for them to call you. They don't know when or if they will be able to provide service in your area. My concern is whether their business and customer service model is sustainable. I don't think there is anything deceptive or disingenuous in their model but it is unusual. Wish them success and will wait to see what happens. read more
