Colorado has many options when it comes to craft beer. I saw this place's beer in one of the stores after I arrived and was intrigued by the flavors I saw (who wouldn't be when finding a double peach milkshake IPA). On Halloween night, my cousin took me up to Greeley for some after dinner treats (no tricks here). I was impressed by the variety offered and the price for 5 flights. $8.50 got me the flights I have pictured and labeled. All were well brewed and full of what flavors they advertised. I ended up getting a full pour of the double peach milkshake (not like what you find in GA) because it was my favorite flight, but I know I would have also had fun trying another 5 flights. Next time I come to CO, I would love to return here and try some more flights. Make the journey to Greeley; you can get a free souvenir sticker and try some of the best beer! read more

WeldWerks is one of my favorite Colorado breweries with amazing stouts and IPAs (they are well known for their other beers as well, but these styles are my favorite). Given their location (in Greeley), it is common to see customers come in to "stock up" on their beer to take home. If you plan on drinking there, I suggest getting a flight of their beers in order to try as many beers on tap as you can without compromising that drive home! I've been here enough now that I have to update my review and re-assess. They have an excellent facility, and some nice beers. But they are overpriced. Flights - $20 Growlers - $20 That's just wrong. The beers are good, but they're not worth the premiums Weldwerks is charging. I could easily find just as good - and in many places better - beers at Wiley Roots and Broken plow. For instance - gose - Weldwerks offers a Cherry Gose and charges a hefty premium for it - but Wiley Roots has several Gose options that are just as good (or better) and at a much better price point. The hefeweizen - Definitely not the best around town. You find better (raspberry or not) at any of the other brewers in town, including Crabtree (which makes me throw up a little, because I dislike Crabtree). Wiley's Super 77 Wheat is a better option (award winning) as is the Stampeded Collaboration that was brewed by Wiley, Broken Plow and Crabtree. Broken Plow also has better IPA's and Stouts. I'm sorry, Weldwerks, but your premium prices for mediocrity has really let me down. Still like the atmosphere - although not as friendly as when they first opened. Will probably visit here on occasion still, but it's not as much the 'go-to' place as I'd hoped it would become. read more

Friend of mine lives just down the street from here - dropped in to grab a few cans of a darker german style beer that I can't remember the name of, I believe it was a bock. Anyway, what I do remember was that it was absolutely delicious. Sweet, malty, not boozy.. all of the things you want from a heavy hitter dark german. No complaints at all. Juicy bits is honestly one of my favorite beers around and I am happy to report that it is fresh as can be (plus several fun variations) right from the brewery. Can't wait to stop in again next time I'm in town, thanks guys! read more

These are the nicest folks and the best beer in the land, seriously. I drive up from Aurora to grab their special beer releases regularly! Everyone is masked up and there is indoor, patio and tent seating and plenty of parking spaces in their own lot. You'll likely see 2 tents when you walk up - one to be seated and one to place/pick up to go deliciousness. Make sure you're in the right line if you're there to hang out!! They have minimal snacks on site, but of course you can have something delivered to munch on. Now, for the biggest tip of them all: SIGN UP FOR THEIR REWARDS PROGRAM. Doodoo smell & lactose beers. This place smells like actual feces. It's also really easy to brew a good tasting beer when you put lactose in it (which is basically ever beer they make). This place is an actual joke. Who wants to sit outside and inhale microscopic particles of feces?! You people are INSANE to offer patio seating. An excellent brewery in the downtown area of Greeley. I stopped off here on a Saturday afternoon after watching my son play hockey just down the street (Ice Haus) and found a welcoming, and quite busy, place to have a couple cold pints (a great stout and an equally great New England style IPA). Parking is right next to the brewery and although a large lot, only had a few spaces available. There was food truck also in the lot, but I did not try any of their food (smelled good!!!). Plenty of seating inside and out, and a decent collection of games, as well as 2 pinball machines in the back. You do order your own beers at the bar area (there is a sign to direct folks in line) and you can open a tab by leaving your credit card with the beer tenders. If you're in the Greeley area and want to try some great local craft beers, don't miss this spot! read more

Was originally visiting Colorado for GABF and with that being canceled we drove more then 1.5 hours each way just to visit. As another brewery worker, I was gifted some Weldwerks beer in the past and fell in love. I also have a member of my team who is a Colorado native and has his friend ship him beer. That all being said, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to stop by for a few beers with the wife during our visit. The drive was worth it, very friendly staff, and obviously amazing beer. WOW. I don't know where to start from. I went here after my son's football game (Go UNC Bears!!!) with my son. It was our first time to go to a brewery together and the experience didn't disappoint. The beers were amazing. I have to say I tried 2 flights and tasted a few "bonus" samples as well. I can't believe it took my this long to get here! The service was awesome. My husband and I headed to WeldWerks Saturday afternoon. This is one of my husbands favorite places. This was my first time visiting this brewery. The building itself has a very industrial feel with the open ceiling and exposed iron beams. Most of the tables were full but it was not overly crowded. There is shaded seating available outside and a food truck for snacks. You can see into the actual brewery while you enjoy a cold one right off the line. Prices range for the beer here but a flight will run you $8.50. There is a good amount of indoor seating if outdoors is not your thing. It's a very family friendly and pet-friendly place as well. This is my favorite Brewery in the entire U.S. OF A... I love this place's ideas and concepts for beers. Everything they do is fire! I am so jealous that I live in Wisconsin and can not get any distribution of this beer in our state. What a clean, chill atmosphere, great vibe style of a place. What an excellent place. Lots of great beer and WeldWerks isn't afraid to try something new. Every time we've stopped in, the brewery has been packed. We brought the dogs on the patio and went in one at a time to get our flights (it's really hard to pick just 5). They have dog bowls outside with a jar of doggie treats - I love when places do this! They always have great to-gos but their merchandise is always lacking in stock. Every time I'm there, they're out of women's smalls. I will keep trying tough! It was my first Brewery I visited when I flew into Denver on a 3 day beer/food trip and it will be my first to visit next time when I return. I'm going to mix up my review a bit and focus on 3 aspects (Staff, Atmosphere and the product - Beer). Staff: Awesome people. They say tone starts at the top, true here with Neil at the helm WeldWerks is going to go very far. Very customer focused from Neil to the bartenders. You can tell people like what they do here. Came on a Friday evening, but no matter when you come it is always fast, friendly service. A huge selection of beer. Ample but very noisy indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating. Music was good for two songs, but then turned to that rap crap. Disappointed that they were out of Long Bones Mexican lager, my favorite. About everything else is too hoppy which then eliminates the great taste known as beer. But that's the fad for some time now. The double cheeseburger is always fantastic and my wife's go-to. The French fries are awesome. I had the brat, it was fine; the "in-house made" sauerkraut that came with it was disgusting. It was nothing like sauerkraut. It tasted as if the cabbage was chopped up and soaked in perfume, and then dehydrated. The cucumber salad that also came with it was pretty refreshing. Side note: if you need ketchup, mustard, extra napkins, etc. and to=go boxes, they are located on a self-serve stand inside. Also there is a water dispenser (free!!) and glasses. read more

One of the best breweries that we have visited in our 4 years of living in Colorado. We drive two hours to visit this brewery (four-hour round trip) and it has been worth it every single time. Weldwerks has a wide variety of beers, meeting every distinct taste that someone may have. The staff is extremely knowledgable and just fun to be around. They are quick to provide recommendations / suggestions, and are normally spot on to meet what you are looking for. The drive to Greeley MAY not be the most excited if you are coming from out of town, but it is well worth it. read more

This is the brewery for you if you love hazy IPA's and flavored beer. I have been to Weldwerks on a few occasions and the beer never disappoints. The beer rotation is always changing and I have never been there and not been able to try something new and different. The last time I was there, it seemed there were about five different hazy IPA varieties and a couple sours to choose from. The staff was super friendly and allowed me to try some different beers before settling on a pint. I will continue to come to Weldwerks for a new IPA, their stunning sour varieties, or a delicious stout to sip on. Weldwerks is a very unique spot for Greeley. It's a very open space that has a lot of character. From the floor, to the beautiful bar or the handcrafted lights you just know there was a lot of though and love put into it. They serv beer that they have made and all of them have been excellent. My personal favorite is the coffee stout- it's combining 2 of my favorite thing into one magical concoction. I also really appreciate the friendly staff and how approachable they make the beer tasting experience. If your lucky you can catch a glimpse of founders Colin or Neil running around chatting it up and working behind the bar or in the brewery. They take real pride in the way they do things and pay attention to detail as you can see in everything they do. Go in grab a seat and order a flight. It will eb a good experience for you. read more

I really wish Weldwerks wasn't so far from where I live in Fort Collins. But it is worth the drive. We usually get a taster tray because they have so many great beers. I was never the biggest fan of stouts but Weldwerks changed that. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie dough stout and the red velvet cake stout - simply amazing. The sours are some of the best I've had. The kiwi berliner sour was one of my all-time favorite beers and I am so sad that it came and went so fast. That is my only complaint - I wish the beers stuck around longer and were more easily attainable (you can get 4 packs of cans to-go from the brewery, but only certain ones). read more

Weldwerks is the kind of place whose unofficial motto is certainly "go big or go home." This brewery pulls out all the stops to make new and interesting beers, and they do it REALLY well. If you are a purist and like your beers unadorned, this place might not be for you (although they do make some killer hoppy beers that trend towards what one might call "normal"- Juicy Bits and Coalescence are both particularly good New England IPAs), but if you like the sounds of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Stout, Key Lime Pie Berlinerweisse, and Red Velvet Blonde, you want to seriously consider getting your butt to Greeley! E and I headed up for an afternoon with the sole purpose of visiting WeldWerks. As someone who has enjoyed their beer for so long all the way from Denver in limited offerings here and there, I was eager to get to ground zero and see their entire line-up. They did not disappoint! With about two dozen beers on tap ranging from dark to light, there is most definitely something for everyone. And as I said above, WW loves to dip into some wacky stuff. Take, for instance, their "pastry series," of which the Cooke Dough Stout is a member. They brewed this puppy with a bunch of lactose and ACTUAL cookie dough, and the flavors shine right on through. It is SUCH a fun (and tasty) beer. We decided the best way to begin was with a sampler flight, which I highly encourage everyone to go for at the start. It's the easiest and most efficient way to wrap your brain around all the delicious options and narrow down what you think you might like a pint of to enjoy on site and/or crowlers and cans to take home. We sprang for the Peach Pie Berliner, Baklava Blonde, French Toast Stout, Oatmeal Cream Pie Stout, and Cookie Dough Stout. While all very drinkable, the peach pie and cookie dough really stood out. For our full beers, I wished away the cloudy, dreary day outside with a pour of Key Lime Pie berliner, and E sprang for a Fake Item Box (a session IPA). If there had been to-go options for the fruity berliners, I would have bought an entire case and hoarded them all summer long. Alas, they weren't available, so we took home a 4-pack of cookie dough stout instead. I ain't complainin'. If anything could make me want to move to Greeley, it's WeldWerks. Unless you live nearby, it can be physically impossible to snag some of their more interesting one-offs and novelty beers, which can sometimes be kicked within a few short days. However, I'd say a visit to this brewery is 100% worth it, even if you drive straight up and straight back down again. read more

Maybe I caught them on an off night. My experience was not good. I went there with Co-Workers on a Thursday night because they were supposed to have a food truck there. When I walked up to the bar, the girl behind the bar seemed more interested in socializing with her friends than getting anything for a customer (Minus one star), took about 3 minutes before she acknowledged our presence, then the service we got was less than stellar, almost surely. Beers in hand we ventured out to the patio where there were tables, but all of them either had people at them, or were littered with food containers and empty beers. We asked patrons if someone was sitting at a table we were interested in, they didn't think anyone had been sitting there. I came to learn later that the Weldwerks staff never clears or cleans the tables on the patio, or at least they didn't in the 2 hours we spent there. We cleared the table ourselves (minus one star) and sat down with menus from the food truck. This isn't Weldwerks fault, but the food from the food truck was horrible, and my chicken had human hair in it, still taking a star away because Weldwerks should be picking better food trucks if they are going to promote the food truck night every Thursday. I won't ever go back here, the place was dirty, the staff wasn't friendly, and the service to customers was completely lackluster. read more
