Should I drive my SUV with the back seats folded down? All the posts on my FYP seemed to suggest that I would hit the Halloween decor jackpot. I encountered several hiccups on the way due to my GPS misdirecting me -- one trip to the Old Orchard Country Club. I was so disappointed. Basically not a HomeGoods at all. Not the vibe I was looking for at all. This is a giant warehouse (somewhat) filled with indoor, outdoor, housewares, tchotchkes, etc. If you need an outdoor pot, a plant stand, a side table, towels, glassware, etc., they have it all, and so many kinds it'll make your head spin. There were lots of items on clearance. At Home is filing for bankruptcy and will close stores. Perhaps that is why the store had several areas that were bare. I don't know if this is one of the locations that will close, but they shoulda had their Halloween stuff out. I will drive anywhere, spend anything, if it means cool Halloween stuff.

It is a step below Home goods , but a step above other retailers. We were looking for an area rug, and I liked they had all the rugs open and on display. The rugs were marked with location and easy to find. Service was ok, there is no one to help in the store, if you have a question and the cashier was not overly friendly. If looking for a huge selection of home goods, it is worth stopping in.

As someone whose passions drove away from the aesthetic, I was always skeptical of the things she did in part due to my ignorance/disinterest for art (despite her repeated attempts to engage my other half the brain). As someone who is trained in finance/trading, my right brain was pretty much left to rot while in school. However, she worked tirelessly (many, many sleepless nights) at home coordinating fabrics, making the quilts, testing and developing the soaps, creams, shampoos, and god knows what else she made, on herself and with products she grew in what was her backyard. Yet, even after two to two and a half days of marathon preparation, she kept on going until she found the perfect formula for her products and the right designs for her quilts. I've witnessed this first-hand for the last ten years of my life. This story, while superficial in the background, is a testament to her commitment to her passion, the combination of art and beauty. Now, on to the products. While I am not a good judge of interior design, her bedding has always seem to seamlessly work well in the proper environment. That's as much as I'll say about that. On to her beauty products. My mom (pretty much by force) gave me these products to try on. These included, her soaps, some serums, and shampoo. Of course, I never bothered trying them until I ran out of soap and shampoo since I thought all soap was soap and all shampoo was shampoo. Boy was I wrong. When I used the typical 'head and shoulders', I would get dandruff and my head felt a tiny bit itchy afterwards. I've also used Kiehl's products for shampoo/conditioner, and I have to say the after effect feels comparable, if not slightly better. Now, I'm not saying this just because she's my mom. The smell is very neutral, and the shampoo just makes my hair feel squeaky clean and smooth. No weird side-effects. Same with her hand soaps. With regular soaps (like Dove), I noticed my skin felt a bit tight but never really thought much of it until I realized by skin was getting dried out (flakes during the winter). However, once I started using these soaps, I no longer felt this tightness and actually thought my skin felt just as loose as it was going into the shower. I don't know how else to explain it. But the fact that the scent is very natural and there is a sense of 'neutrality' makes it a great product. She gave me a bunch of funky serums and I tried one and I felt has started to even out my skin complexion a little bit more, which was pretty interesting. In all, I tried to give as objective a review as I could on her products, and all I can say is to give my mom a chance. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Despite joining…read moreover a month ago at the peak of Chrismas shopping, I have had zero sales, which is incredibly frustrating. The lack of foot traffic is alarming; it seems like hardly anyone is visiting the shop. The store's marketing is inadequate; I've never seen any promotions on social media to attract customers. When I requested a two-foot longer booth at the end-cap, I expected some accommodation or discount, but none was offered. I regret becoming a vendor here and feel that my investment has not been worthwhile, especially being tied to a 12-month contract. All of the staff are very friendly, however more work needs to be done by management or the head office to bring in more traffic. I have dedicated nearly $700 towards the purchase of displays and decor. I have items ranging from $2.99 upwards to $129.99, all of which are handmade.I can't recommend The Painted Tree to other vendors unless they improve their marketing strategies and attract more customers.

These vendor's sell everything from crafty items to furniture, antiques, clothes, collectibles & more. There are just so many vendors & unique/cool items to look at. Every time I have been here I have never walked out empty handed. I would say to put out at least an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours to come and browse. Store seams to be very clean and well kept. Everyone there is very helpful and nice. As for pricing it's just your own knowledge. Some items I see are over priced but a lot of times vendors have great sales. I also highly recommend coming to their events like ladies night, Galentine's & more. They really put an extra great shopping experience those days with treats, sales, refreshments, live music and more.
