Kennie's is my go-to grocery store. The meat, deli, seafood and produce departments offer as much (and sometimes more) variety than the big box retailers. I love that I can get freshly steamed shrimp, fresh hot soups and hot bar selections for the times I don't feel like cooking. When I was my Mom's caretaker, I could not have made it through without the deli, salad and hot bar. As to the employees? Unfailingly polite and helpful. Need a specialized cut of meat? They will cut it for you. Need that wonderful Sahlen's ham sliced a certain way? The deli will slice it custom. Looking for something special in produce? They will do their best to get it for you - and frequently offer produce from local farms. I love the convenience of being able to run to Kennie's as I need. Can't do that with the larger, more distant stores. In short, I am very happy that Kennie's is here in Spring Grove!

The magnet mailer is always great for some good deals but they never keep the shelves stocked enough when they do these coupons. Decent size beer and wine section. Service is hit or miss. Usually the workers are very friendly but they can be slow. Normal days they only have 1 maybe 2 checkout lanes open so you have to do the self checkout which I prefer but a lot of older people shop here and they have to wait in the very long lines to checkout. If prices were better I would do all my grocery shopping here.

The lady at checkout was so kind, asked if i found everything alright, and chatted with me like I was a friend. The store was very clean and the music was a good volume. I think anyone would enjoy shopping here. The food is so delicious. My favorite frozen pasta is their Penne arrabbiata! it's quick in the microwave & tasty! I also love getting their chocolate croissants. So delicious, and you get 4 for the price of 1 at starbucks.
