Super huge supermarket that has pretty much everything edible. Produce, deli, meats, frozen and more. I just wanted some cashews and it was great to see that they had a well stocked variety not just in the candy aisle but also in the bulk aisle. The store is clean, there are plenty of carts and the aisles are wide. I can see why people are such fans of the Wegmans brand, which we do not have in North Carolina. Bummer. I'm from Rochester ny and I now live in North Carolina I miss wegmans! I think this chain is the best in the USA Their products are first class. This store is also. I come here whenever I'm in town. They have soooo much selection and quality. Read Anthony's review. He is right on. This is a place to expand you food knowledge. It's a good place to try a product that your unfamiliar with. The prepared foods are so convenient. Makes meal prep easy. I come here for picnic items so I don't have to make salads. I buy Zweigler hots and I'm all set

Sushi from the cafe. Very good!

Nearly…read more6pm on a Friday, walking in alone, knowing I could choose anything I wanted and then sit at a cozy little table to destroy every last crumb in absolute peace? That's my love language. When I arrived, I was person three of three in the small bakery. Quiet and calm, except for a man around my age and a younger boy chatting at a table about basically every topic under the sun. The vibe was gentle, warm, and perfectly unhurried. I took my time browsing their pastry cases--very full pastry cases--and genuinely could have eaten one of everything. But tonight was a dessert-only mission, so I narrowed it down to two knockout items. First up: the easiest decision I've made in months. A HUGE chocolate-dipped cannoli roll filled with hazelnut crème. This masterpiece was absolutely heavenly. The chocolate coating was thick and rich (the kind that snaps when you bite it). The cannoli shell stayed crunchy, which is rare and beautiful. And the hazelnut crème? Smooth, whipped, sweet in that refined way where you feel delighted, not diabetic. Perfection. My second pick was smaller but impossible to leave behind: a Pistachio roll with glossy sweet frosting on the outside, perched on a crunchy cannoli puff, absolutely stuffed with pistachio filling. And let me tell you--this filling was to die for. Sweet, silky, pistachio-forward without veering into "pure nut paste" territory. Pistachio in baked goods can be hit-or-miss for me, but Massimo's nailed the balance. Honestly, they've nailed everything I've ever had from here. My total came to $10.20 including tip, and the value felt spot-on for the size, flavor, and quality of the pastries. Plenty of free parking right out front since it's in a small strip mall. And can we talk about their hours? They're open 7am-7pm, Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays), which is practically unheard of for local bakeries. Those long hours make Massimo's an unbeatable post-dinner dessert stop or a sweet late-afternoon pick-me-up. Friendly staff, gorgeous pastries, shelves of grab-and-go treats, and the peaceful ambiance of a bakery that doesn't rush you. My first solo trip definitely won't be my last. Highly recommend treating yourself. You deserve it.

This was my second visit to Dalicia -- my first was for dessert (which unfortunately didn't win me…read moreover), and this time my adventure buddy was set on giving their dinner menu a try. Menu unseen, expectations unclear...so off we went! Knowing from past experience that the restaurant can feel drafty, I arrived layered up and ready for a cozy-but-practical evening on a cold February night. We walked in around 6pm without a reservation and were seated without issue as we were the only two people inside other than folks working. We started with the flatbread appetizer (feta, spinach, artichoke, mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers, scallions, turkey pepperoni on flaky pastry - $8), and honestly -- this was the highlight of the night. The pastry was thin and crisp, piled generously with toppings, and finished with what tasted like a garlicky sauce that brought everything together beautifully. Light, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. In hindsight, I should have just ordered a second one and called it dinner while things were still making me do the happy food dance. For my entrée, I ordered the Turkey Pesto Crepe ($12.25), described as sliced turkey, mushrooms, tomatoes, provolone mozzarella cheese, and sun-dried tomato pesto. On paper, this sounded fantastic -- a combination that should have delivered distinct flavors and textures. Unfortunately, everything blended together into one uniform consistency, and the individual ingredients didn't stand out the way I had hoped. It wasn't inedible -- I just lost interest after a few bites because nothing felt memorable. My adventure buddy ordered the Sarma (Stuffed Cabbage) ($18.95), described as cabbage stuffed with beef, onions, and rice, served with potatoes (his choice instead of rice). Again, the ingredients sounded promising, but the overall experience landed in the "fine" category -- nothing wrong, but nothing particularly exciting either. The potatoes fell into the same space: acceptable, but lacking seasoning or personality that might elevate the dish. We paired dinner with Pepsi Zero ($2.25 each -- note for fellow Diet Pepsi fans, they don't carry it here). Total for the evening came to about $55 including tip. It may simply not be my flavor style, but I'm always glad to support local and try something new.

When I saw PA Bakery advertising mini King Cakes for Mardi Gras, I was genuinely thrilled. A…read morereasonably sized King Cake felt like a dream come true -- all the fun of the tradition without committing to feeding an entire village. I immediately pre-ordered two mini King Cakes at $5.50 each (total $11), already imagining the moment I'd get to gloat when I found the hidden baby! The mini King Cakes were actually quite generous in size. Easily enough for 3-4 people...although I personally demolished mine in one sitting and have zero regrets. Now for the part that caught me off guard. The plastic baby -- arguably the entire point of a traditional King Cake -- was perched on top instead of hidden inside. I was fully anticipating that moment of excitement that comes from discovering the baby mid-bite, because that's kind of the magic of a King Cake tradition. Without that element, what I ended up with felt more like a very festive brioche-style cinnamon roll wearing Mardi Gras colors than a King Cake. To be clear, it tasted good. The cake itself was soft without being dry, had plenty of cinnamon-esque filling without tipping into overly gooey territory, and was generously finished with frosting and sugary crystals. Flavor-wise, no complaints. But if you're marketing something specifically as a King Cake, the expectation is that the baby is hidden within. Otherwise, it changes the experience entirely. For food safety purposes, there are plenty of creative alternatives -- an edible marzipan baby, a clearly oversized non-choking-hazard version, sticker on the box, etc. -- but the surprise element is part of what makes a King Cake a King Cake. Overall, not a bad experience -- just not quite the Mardi Gras moment I was hoping for. Next year, I'll probably seek out a bakery that leans into the full King Cake tradition...because if I'm chasing the thrill of finding a tiny plastic baby in my dessert, I want to earn that victory properly. If the baby isn't going in the cake, just let me know up front so I can manage my expectations (and my Mardi Gras excitement) accordingly.

Still a tasty treat. Wasn't sure if some wall art was strictly military honor or political statement however. Hopefully the prior. Despite any differences, good for small businesses not to ostracize potential customers (ie sales). A business displaying any direction they lean can dissuade many. So, we may be back if in that area and remember it. Worth a try for anyone who hadn't been yet. (May I suggest to this business, as I saw the owner/manager there, and to other small/mom n pop shops, that you get out to your customers as an owner/manager and talk to them. Make them feel welcome, like they are a special customer, part of your business, etc. It really works to pull in people and make them come back! A great great great marketing tool! Even if you're not a people person, say hello or welcome at the very least, and good bye/thank you for coming! Your food/product can be quite average and the interior not perfect, but making a customer feel really welcome is often the top key trick to their return again and again. In addition they be more likely to spread the word how much they like your business. It's the easiest, cheapest form of market too!)
