Yelper, RUN! I came curious about HGH, because they advertise specializing in it. It was $50 cash paid before appointment. Then, the appointment was geared at selling me an alternative Supplement. The "Doctor" was actually a resident III from '88 (in pediatrics), who not only didn't know how to order blood panels, but didn't know which ones were necessary. The assistants whisper loudly in broken English to her, and, let her know I have cash on me. Then, she returns after a 20 minute wait(I'd been there 35 minutes total, 8 of which was reading a presentation on their "programs") to tell me I need to pay her $200. I ask what for, and she says "everything costs money, this office, employees, you know, I'm not on the street!" I honestly couldn't tell. I mean, the place smelled, there were orange syringe caps on the floor, it was dirty, disorganized, and she was trying to shake me down. Seemed like the "street" to me. They prefer cash....just like the streets....coincidence? I told her she hadn't provided me any services, given me an exam, or provided me with any information, and told her I was leaving. She followed me into the hallway and said, "well, what are you going to do?" Implying I owed her $200, to which I said, "I'm going to tell you to have a nice day. Good luck with your scam." Avoid this place at all costs. Go to a real doctor. Your primary care physician can prescribe you anything and more than she can, plus, she charges outrageous rates for literally NOTHING. No wonder they had appointments open all day the same day. Only a gullible idiot would count on these scam artists for anything. If you are going to get a REC, don't do it here. I am finally getting around to writing this review. I came to weight wise awhile back. I had really let myself go and needed some help. When I showed up for my appointment the girl at the front was very nice. Some reviewers say the place was dirty, etc but it's not. It's clean - it's just a really really old building, and stuff is kind of cluttered/stored in random places, but I for sure wouldn't say it's dirty. This is not a brand new medical spa. They took my blood pressure and weight. I appreciate the girl didn't give me any judgy looks while I was getting weighed. Cause let's face it, I'm fat now. Then I went into a room and waited for awhile then Kira came in. She was very nice. She went over the different plans. They have appetite suppressants, and HCG shots, etc. I'm not into shots. I was interested in the appetite suppressants. I had gone to a clinic before in a different part of the state and had some success. I remember it being reasonable, so when she pulled out the pricing list, holy f*ck I damn near shit myself! My initial visit cost $250, then it would be $150/WEEK for the pills. That is $600 bucks a month!! HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!!! After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I went into the doctors office where she showed me some weight charts of other people who had been successful. But honestly it was a blur since I was still reeling from the prices. But then came the moment of truth. Remember, I'm fat and I would literally give a kidney to get back to my old self. And, I'm sure they know that. So, I gave in, and signed up. The good news is they take credit cards, so I was able to pay some cash and some credit. I came back once a week to get more pills and get weighed. I do like that because I need the accountability. They always try to upsell these shakes (which are gross) which was kind of annoying (an addition 50 bucks, mind you). But I took that shit seriously, exercised, wasn't hungry and lost 10 pounds my first week. It was awesome! Ultimately, I flamed out after a month and a half because I couldn't keep up with the cost. Honestly, its not realistic (at least in my budget) to pay that much a month. That's like 2 car payments, yo. The bottom line, is the pills work, but it will cost you. A lot. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! I have been going to another weight loss clinic for 7 months now, been SUPER happy with them, but their HCG program is a bit over my price range. So I found Dr. Thakur on google and made an apt. Dr. Thakur went over the packages with me. I chose a 4 week program + 2 week maintenance + 6 visit. Dr. Thakur gave me a $249 discount and added 2 - B12 shots in my package. The way she interacted with me (from asking me multiple times what the previous office charges) It showed that she was trying to give me a "better" deal so I would start my treatment with them. Well, so my WONDERFUL journey at this office began RIGHT after I said, OK, let's do it. First thing the DOCTOR herself did, was take me back to the front and charge my card before anything else. No contract, no signature, no Treatment plan. NOTHING was presented. Money collected asap, and sent me home with 10 days worth of HCG. Came back 10 days later for my second set of 10 - the nurse had a cold, kept sneezing, without gloves, holding a tissue and wiping her nose while she was filling up the next 10 syringes. It was SO disgusting!! I am not sure why, but I was at a loss for words and didn't say ANYTHING! She also gave me my 1st B12 shot without washing her hands or putting on gloves. I alcohol wiped all the syringes when I got home!! My third visit to pick up my final 10 syringes, was with the same nurse... I explained to her that I hadn't lost any weight in 7 days, and was worried I was doing something wrong (pretty much concerned and asking for help). She kept telling me to go home and write down what I eat and show her next time. I kept repeating to her that I can tell her EXACTLY what i eat every day but she wanted it written down apparently. Once she left the room, I opened my phone notepad, wrote down what I ate that week and showed it to her when she came back. She then replied with "That's great" and left the room. When she returned, she handed me my needles in a fed ex folder (like every visit) and said goodbye. No help in any way. We also totally skipped my B12 shot at this visit. My fourth and FINAL visit to this office was my last HCG shot day. I went in for my 2nd and last B12 shot and to get info on how to transition into normal life after HCG. The doctor took me into her office and said: "Today, YOU NEED TO BUY appetite suppressant and pay $50 for the visit" I noticed my jaw just being wide open again, how dare you start a conversation as a Dr. with a costumer like that? How unprofessional can you be? My response "I still have some appetite suppressant left from before & why do I need to pay $50 for the visit? Didn't I have 2 week maintenance + 2 - B12's and 6 visits included in my package? I have only been here 3 times (including my first visit) and received 1 shot."?!?!?! The doctor opened up my chart and had scribbled something on the left corner (on the actual chart, not on paper) I saw the writing, it was 5 lines of I guess the package I had purchased. She then went into the hallway, stood there, writing in my chart and came back in and showed it to me. She had scribbled additional pricing next to the B12 and visits area and said that she gave me a package deal & those were not included?!?! Now, not only I had to pay for the $50 maintenance visit, but I had to pay for my last B12 shot & this next shot as well?!?! At this point I completely lost it, I told her that this was not the way to run a business. She can't just scribble away, especially right in front of me, and choose to add or take back anything she had agreed on previously just because she feels like it. AGAIN, it was so obvious since I didn't need to buy additional appetite suppressants & told her that I didn't think that I needed to pay the $50 "visit" fee, that she needed to find another reason to make money off of me that day, so yeah - let's add the previous and today's B12. After I was ready to walk out, pissed at myself for even coming here, she decided to give me the B12 shot for free but continued to repeatedly tell me that it was the girls fault in the front for not knowing how to read her hand writing. Trying to blame your staff for the unprofessional way you run your office just shows the type of person you are. None of the girls were at fault. You, Dr. Thakur are at fault. Try to run a more professional office with treatment plans, contracts and actual writing on normal paper, nobody would be making any "mistakes" then. Bottom line, this doctor sells you a "treatment plan" on your first visit and doesn't give a @#$% what happens to you after. I would have totally done my second round with them, but after all of this, I will gladly pay another office twice as much and get actual professional service. Let's also not forget that the office is extremely dirty, syringe caps all over the floor, unorganized, no computers, everything is written in a notebook ANDDDD the doctor answers her own phone while being very unprofessional. read more

This place is a scam...PLEASE READ I went in for a follow up consultation (3rd visit) and started speaking with the same DR that I spoke with on the second visit that prescribed the weight loss medicine. The only reason I came here because it's closer to my work and I didn't see that bad reviews on Yelp so I bought the Groupon taking a chance. When you call all they get is your name you have such a hard time understanding the lady answering. The moment you walk in that office you could tell is so nasty, stinky smell, rude and unprofessional lady doing the registration. When you arrive they don't have a schedule she just ask you to come in and what you are there for, before I answer, she asked out loud in front of other people waiting if I was there for weight loss program I guess they are not familiar with HIPPA at all. The lobby is smelly and picture frames on the waiting area are on chairs instead of hanging them in the wall. When she took me to the room she gives me paper work to read about how their program works and said I'll be back. She went to give injections to other people waiting. I finish reading the information about it which I was already familiar with because I done it before and I she took a while to come back to me. Since, I had time I started noticing how nasty it was. The room had no table for their cotton, syringes and other equipment they were using the procedure table as a table for their equipment. They had a file cabinet in there with a flip flop on the floor you could see my pictures that I have posted everything so dusty. She came back and she went over the program just a little and gave me the prices of it, wow that is 2 or 3x's more $ from the office I go to and let me tell you the one I go is in Campbell I ask her so I'm not seen the doctor at all today she says no if you decide to do the whole program you have to pay I believe she said $50 for the doctor to do a physical. When we where talking she gets a call from her doctor and starts complaining in front of me to her doctor that she is sick with a cold and that she does not want to work the following day which it was going to be a Saturday. I went here for weight loss treatment. The first thing I liked was their location. I took an Uber from Palo Alto. The place was easy to access from the freeways and easy to locate. The office was spacious. I see that some reviews did not like the presentation which they show. Honestly I loved it. It was extremely informative and possibly the best part of my experience. The presentation allowed me to make a more informed decision of the different weight-loss options I could pursue. Initially I took Semorelin ,B12 shots and protein shakes . What I found most effective for me was phentermine and topiramate. I already go to the gym routinely. I just needed the extra kick. I lost over 8 pounds in 7 weeks. I am still loosing. I wanted to loose at this pace since I always wanted a more steady and sustainable weight loss. I believe that for people who want massive rapid weight loss .they may want to try HCG and other options that these guys have. I also discussed a detailed diet plan with the doctor .Doctor was very kind and was consistently in touch with me out of office hours to ensure that I stay on track with my weight loss goals. When my weight stagnated , I texted her and she immediately called me back 'on a weekend' to give me tips on what I can do to get of this freeze zone. They also have the Coolsculpting machine .
