Dr. Aziz is ok as a doctor but either her office staff or Dr. Aziz herself is very slow to respond. I have to interact with her office on behalf of an elderly person that I care for and of all the doctors I interact with regularly, this doctor is my least favorite because I have to make multiple requests just to get a simple reply, which makes it take much longer to achieve anything for the patient, and with elderly people, time can be of the essence. So if you have lots of non-urgent medical issues that you're okay with hounding the office about, then this is the doctor for you. If you want a responsive doctor who gets things done timely without a lot of back and forth, then choose a different doctor. read more

On my first visit I discovered that Dr. Aziz is a great doctor! She is so thorough and so modern and so knowledgeable. She went through every aspect of my medical history and showed great patience with me as though she wanted to know everything. She is very automated and her staff computerized all my info very efficiently. She even called my cardiologist that very day and they exchanged data. This review is for practice Dr Aziz is now as of 2018-2019. It's no longer Stanford but a horrible organization called Verity Medical Foundation. I scheduled an annual physical exam as a new patient after reading reviews about Dr Aziz here. It took a long time to get on her schedule. Well, that is expected as a new patient. Day of appointment, I walk into front desk and there ya confusion on whether annual physical is today or not. Dr Aziz takes me in. She is wonderful. Listens to everything and tells me we can do annual physical today itself. So we go ahead and do that. I specifically ask her, if I got sick would she or another doctor in her practice be able to see me in 24-48 hours and she says of course. This is actually the norm for any primary care practice. I come out of the visit with all blood tests she listed etc. we schedule a follow up visit a month later. Now this is where you find out how horrible this organization is. I get a bill with a co pay which I shouldn't be billed as annual physical exams are fully covered by insurance. I call their billing department and they say it was a new patient visit and no annual physical exam was done. I tell them I am the patient and the physical exam was done on me. Why wouldn't I not know ? It's a clear rip off they are doing to insurance and me. Ok, I let go of that for time being. Now I got sick on two occasions - once I had an acute asthma attack and another occasion with infection and I called her office to schedule a sick appointment and they gave me a date 1.5 month out! WTF which primary practice does that? Unless it was a weekend, all previous PCPs I have had would take me in same day or next day depending on severity of symptoms. Please avoid this Verity practice like a plague. I hope Dr Aziz switches to another better organization who is indeed patient centered and not just business centered. read more

I never met Dr. Aziz. This review is for office staff receptionist. I called today as a would be new patient. It was terrible. The receptionist 1) had a HEAVY accent that I could not understand. I asked if this is Dr. Azia office. She said yes and what do you want? 2) I had to repeat the spelling of my name 7 times alpha by alpha and then is dead silence and I had to repeat it again. 3) I was then asked many personal information and never once I was given an appt day or time other than Dr is booked far out to November. 4) then I was put on hold for a very long time when I asked what day and time in November (not to mention the back ground was so so noisy like some telemarketing phone order office) I finally had to hang up and basically say forget it. This is a medical office and not a busy restaurant as if someone is calling for a table for dinner for two okay. Sorry- but front desk office staff needs to be improved big time. So not worth the aggravation of trying to get an appt with this doctor. There are many others there so back to my research board. read more

I chose Dr Aziz last December based on Yelp and other online reviews. I find her to be caring, intelligent and an excellent physician. Dr Aziz's philosphy is let's see how you can regain well being. I trust her judgment. competency and knowledge. She spends enough time to cover my issues and decide how to move forward--I never feel rushed or unheard. Sometimes she's a little over schedule and I wait for my appointment, but I don't mind because I know the lateness comes from truly caring, which is not easy to find. I saw Dr. Aziz as my new primary care doctor last month and I recommend this doctor without hesitation! She is genuinely concerned about your issues. I went to her with some chronic sinus issues and other health concerns. She listens, refers you to other specialist, as needed. Although, my insurance Blue Shield of CA PPO/exclusive plan (not covered CA) is considered out of network as of 2017 for those who have individual vs. group coverage (through an employer) , I will pay out of pocket in order to keep this doctor as my PCP - she's that good!! read more

I saw Dr. Aziz once last month and was so happy I found the perfect doctor for me. I thought she was fantastic and I was so thankful I finally found a great one that I connect well with. IT DOESNT GET BETTER THAN THIS. She is extremely competent, compassionate and thorough. After living in pain and never being able to find out what it is was, I was finally diagnoised with fibromyaligia. She did all the tests necessary, and never showed any sign of wanting to give up.
