I also realized I had forgotten my purse in the car and needed it for the copay. She pulled the prescriptions aside and packaged them so that they were ready for me after I ran out to the car. She was very friendly and complimented how I accessorized my purse. The situation could have been very uncomfortable and embarrassing for me, but instead Alaesha made me glad I chose CVS that day.

They say that they had to call the doc for a refill request (doubtful), and ... "oh hey, there's a code here I don't understand." After more waiting they claim insurance won't cover for two more days. Hang on, I haven't filled this script in two months, so what gives? "It was filled somewhere else." Uh, not by me. "Call your insurance, we can't tell you where." So I call insurance, who directs me to call the pharmacy insurance company. Woman answers and says, it's been filled. Today. At this location! WTF?! Back to the counter where they state they also (already) did what they said they couldn't do, and spoke with my insurance. And my script was ready, bagged and all. By magic. I have no idea what went wrong, but I look forward to the same misery for my next refill.

I use a coupon each month for one of my rx and everytime I have to physically go inside because they have a hard time applying it to my total out of pocket cost. The lines outside take a long time so I prefer to go inside and get faster service.

Pleasantly surprised that there is a CVS presence in Penn Yan where we had recently moved. It's a…read moresmaller layout, but when we needed my husband's BP prescription re-filled, it was nice to have the ease of just heading to a CVS without having to transfer all the info to a different drugstore. Grateful that Penn Yan has a nice balance of small local businesses peppered with a few national chains. Just one more thing that helped as we transitioned to our great new hometown.
