Whoever the woman who hangs up the phone at the pharmacy every time I call and there's no voicemail is incredibly rude and has no business having that job. i will find out her name and leave a second review soon. the people at this pharmacy are so incompetent it blows my mind and ive never had more issues getting the meds I need to literally stay alive when nothing has changed in ordering them in years. 0/10 read more

Alaesha was my pharmacy clerk at 5:40pm on 10/18/24 at 2100 Monroe Ave CVS. I was picking up prescriptions for my husband with lots of people in line behind me and told her the wrong birthday at first, despite her asking me to verify it twice. I also realized I had forgotten my purse in the car and needed it for the copay. She pulled the prescriptions aside and packaged them so that they were ready for me after I ran out to the car. She was very friendly and complimented how I accessorized my purse. The situation could have been very uncomfortable and embarrassing for me, but instead Alaesha made me glad I chose CVS that day. read more

It is very nice that they're open 24 hours and we have used them a couple times. The last time I realized they had a drive thru, so I didn't even need to get out of my car, so that was really nice. However, I had a question about a new medication and I noticed it after hours, and needed to take a dose of it. I couldn't skip it, and it was an urgent question, so I called. I have never had a pharmacist be so rude to me. He literally would not give me any type of answer. My regular pharmacist is always helpful, and I've called her multiple times over the years. So, get prescriptions filled here after hours when you need them, but don't expect anything else. read more

I've been here before as I had to pick up a medication that my local store did not have. Staff at the pharmacy was great and helpful. CVS is one of those places I just go to for meditations or an occasional think I have an emergency for any no place is open. They have a parking lot. read more

extremely poor experience with pharmacy. Workers were making jokes about not answering calls at drive through window. Cars were sitting stuck in line for 20-30 minutes at a time. It's fine if your going to close the window, but at least put up a proper sign informing customers. Families waiting to pick up meds for kids or parent's do not have time to waste being the butt of a staff joke. Transfer your prescriptions to a pharmacy that wants your business. There were 5 pharmacy works on at the time of incident, and 2 customers inside, me being one of them, who could clearly hear associates joking about not answering calls. I have spoken with CVS customer service and they have been unable to improve services at this location stating staffing issues. read more

I had to switch CVS locations from Mount Hope to Monroe Ave and I wish I didn't. The Monroe Ave staff (weekday evening), should get some training at Mt.Hope on basic common curiosity. I'm seriously the easiest person to get along with, there's no excuse for this rudeness. Also, they let the phone ring for ages while many of the staff members are clearly doing nothing. read more

Recently helped a friend with a late night script and visited this CVS. First I was grateful that this store is 24/7, but also the pharmacist could not have been nicer. I had to wait maybe 5 minutes as the script had just been called in, and he was busy helping a steady stream of people getting their Covid booster, yet he still apologized to us for the wait. The store seems larger than the one I use, but I still managed to find things I needed, and on sale. When I went back to the Pharmacy, the pharmacist was going over the script with my friend, which was really great in my book. I definitely recommend this CVS if you needs scripts or personal products, as this visit was a win/win on both counts in my book. read more

This 24/7 CVS is the busiest one in the Rochester area. Luckily for us, it is out go-to location. The pharmacy here is top of the line with staff who know there customers and medication. In the fall, I felt perfectly safe getting my flu shot at this location - which years ago would've sounded outlandish. I mean, get a medical vaccination at a store, not a doctor's office? The pharmacy had a privacy screen set up and I was able to walk-in, get the shot, and go on my way. Lately most of my visits have been the drive through pharmacy, and the staff at the window are extremely professional, communicative and helpful. In the past we used Wegmans pharmacy, but we switched all meds here since CVS is open 24 hours. At Wegs we had so many problems with them not stocking meds and sending us on far flung journeys to find a store that has the medicine. CVS ALWAYS has our medicine and sends us texts to remind us for refills. I also love how the neighborhood kids stroll in this location for their candy and/or ice tea fix. read more

Oh my gosh, they just all must hate their jobs. I figure if you have to be at work, you might as well try to enjoy yourself. The pharmacy staff here are just rude and act as though having to do any work for a customer is the most god awful thing ever. No greeting, no smiles, no joy, nothing. The wait is ridiculous and when they need to correct an error, well, just know you will wait and wait and wait and wait and no one will update you. Most recently, I had to have a label changed as they did not have the correct insurance information (And no, my insurance had not changed!) Pharmacist said it would take about ten minutes. Do you think she bothered to tell me it was ready. Heck no. Guess I'm just supposed to get in line again even though she walks by me 10 times with no acknowledgment that she made the change. read more

I don't think it's acceptable to wait two hours plus, I'm still waiting... For my prescriptions. I am extremely sick and I live alone. There's nobody to run out and pick this prescription up for me. 24 hours of CVS goodness. We've been going there for years and I trust them to get my family's prescriptions right. Never had a problem with them. CVS even transferred a prescription for my daughter to the one in the FiDi district in NY, saving us tons of hassle. Sure, it's a corporate behemoth... but they do a good job. My daughter uses this CVS in particular to process all of her color film Must be doing something right with the processing end. She loves the results and has submitted pictures processed there when she applied to top art schools in NY and was admitted. read more

Horrible customer service from the pharmacy. The manager whose name is Eric (he wouldn't give me his last name) was very rude, unprofessional, and condescending. My mother who is on an inhaler and 24 hour oxygen needed her prescription filled. I explained that her lung specialist retired and the prescription authorization reverted back to her primary doctor (who she's had the last 40 years). long story short, there was no consideration, courtesy or empathy. We were always treated repectfully at the South Clinton CVS (it's closed now). I will take this to the regional manager because there was no need for this person to continually tell me what I didn't "understand ". read more

I don't normally come here but it is close to my chiropractor and it was open late on NYE when everything else was closed. They have the normal things a drugstore would carry. the little things that you need but always forget to pick up at wal mart or target. This most recent trip was for cough drops. They are a good variety to pick from and multiple sized bags which was nice. Adam and I were both sick so we needed the big bag. The staff is generally friendly and helpful when you need them. Overall, this is a good place to stop by for last minute things you forget or when you are in a pinch. read more

Everyone was closed on Black Friday and CVS took a controlled substance script over the phone saving the day! 2 days earlier I had another issue with a different pharmacy and who has my hard to find meds on hand? Yup, CVS at 10pm no less. They could see I was in a hurry to get to work so they stopped what they were doing to put a rush on it. 3 minutes later I'm out the door. BTW I noticed their drive through window is always open as well. I'm switching all my scripts to this location. Professional, friendly & they go above and beyond. read more

I LOVE CVS in general, however this pharmacy is pretty mediocre at best. I have to renew my RX monthly (in which they make me call my doctor, saying it would be easier that way) and every month they never have my particular medication in stock, so I have to wait an additional day. Also every month I have to remind the pharmacist that I have a coupon in my files bringing my total from $70 down to $5, which isn't too much of a headache but they always have to make me wait an additional 15 minutes so that the main pharmacist can give it the green light. Unfortunately my Healthcare provider is making me use CVS as my pharmacy, otherwise I would be going back to Rite Aid at Eastview Mall, where the pharmacist remembers my name (and still does when I see her) and is always so efficient! Let's just say I will not be getting my flu shot at CVS, I much rather drive out to Eastview! read more

This is a busy store. I stop here when I only need an item or two and don't want to go into Wegmans. This location is also good if you want to print photos. The help in the pharmacy is hit or miss, but you can't beat the hours. The parking lot is a bit tight. read more

The employees there are friendly and helpful, despite being a very busy location. However, I agree with the previous reviewer about one of the employees that works in the Pharmacy. She makes rude and judgmental comments to me about my prescriptions. I refuse to be waited on by her and one more remark and I'm moving my business to somewhere else. read more

I am surprised to be writing a review for CVS, but the 24h Pharmacy of this particular CVS has saved my butt a couple times now, both of which were last minute needs before rushing to the airport. The store itself is not all that great as they carry very little of what I am accustomed to buying at a CVS (granted, my regular 2 h CVS stores in Boston were three times the size of this one), but in my experience the 24h Pharmacy is excellent -- 5 stars for the Pharmacy. read more

The pharmacy here is TERRIBLE. The only reason I use it is because it's the only 24 hour pharmacy in the area (that I know of at least). If you can get to another pharmacy during regular hours, go there instead. I am always having problems with my prescriptions; I have a few that I take regularly and refill at the same time each month -- this is too much for them to handle apparently. If you don't tell them EXACTLY how many you have to pick up and what they are, you'll only get 1. Looks like there are 2 places to keep them and the tech won't check both places unless you make them. They've also shorted me pills, frequently give caplets instead of tablets (so you've got to wait all over again for them to refill your RX!), given me another person's meds, misplaced meds and asked me to come back (I needed to take them immediately), and one tech I had was SO RUDE. When I explained I needed at least something to get me through the next day or two because they had run out of what I needed, I told her about how many that would be (several pills of low dosages -- 5 to 10 mg -- to take periodically through the day) SHE JUDGED ME. She, in a condescending tone, said, "you need HOW MANY? If you're taking that many that's too much." Oh, I guess they're doctors there now? They know better than my doctor who wrote the prescription and set the times I should take them! The nerve! Service with an attitude, totally unnecessary. I wish I had gotten her name and gone back to complain to whoever was in charge. But I was just so shocked that I just dealt with her, got what I could, and left. Who expects to be treated like that? I think she assumed that because I'm young, I must be either lying about how many I need or abusing them. Unbelievable. read more
