I love Wegmans as a whole, but this location is a little bit disappointing. I've gotten sliced nova lox from here a few times, and each time the quality is lacking as far as the way it's sliced. At $30/lb I'd expect better quality than what I've gotten - which is mostly thick, chewy slices. The kicker was when I went shopping yesterday. I went to the produce section to pick up one sweet onion. Lo and behold - they were out of onions. Not just sweet onions, but every onion you could think of. No red onions, white onions, sweet onions, or yellow onions. Not one. How does a grocery store run out of onions? Top it off with the rude and unenthusiastic checkout person, and I'm pretty sure I'll never return to this Wegmans again. I went to my local Shop-Rite down the road where they had a plethora of onions - every kind you could think of. I enjoyed it later on with my thick and chewy salmon from the Wegmans counter. For better quality and service I'd much rather go to Rastelli's in Marlton. read more

This Wegmans is the best. It's clean and we always do our grocery shopping here, but today they blew me away with their excellent customer service! Last night we went food shopping and on the way home we got into a pretty bad accident. We were rear ended from behind and ended up in the ER by ambulance. Our car got towed to an auto body shop while it still had our groceries in it including perishables of meats,cheese and eggs. It was so warm last night that everything was inedible by the time we were able to go get things out of our car. We were a little upset about losing about $40 in perishable foods. We went to Wegmans thinking it was a long shot to exchange our food for fresh stuff. Surprisingly their stellar customer service dept. allowed an exchange after hearing our story. Favorite place to grocery shop. I also frequent the store for lunch. They have everything from sushi to chicken parm sandwiches to pizza. Great salad bar and Chinese food self-serve. Awesome soups as well. Alos, they have an in-store liquor department. Great selection of wines. For grocery shopping, I like to go on Thursday or Friday evenings after work. That's also when they play the best music over the loud speakers. :-) read more

I used to love this wegmans, not sure what happened. The produce department is either missing common items like asparagus and zucchini or the fruit is always moldy. They do have a good section of organic meats which has me coming every week. With sprouts opening this week I can finally say goodbye to wegmans. read more

Let me preface this review by saying I am a loyal Wegman's shopper in Mt. Laurel and would normally give this store a 5 star rating. However, It is time to vent my feelings since covid-19. First of all they are on overkill where they choose to do so. At the states direction they have customers waiting in line for up to an hour, sometimes in rain and cold waiting to get into the store. However, in the store they are not moving the customers out of the store in a timely fashion so more customers can get in much faster. They have closed the fresh cut meat and fresh fish counters which are enclosed in a refrigerated case but yet they have about 80% of their produce exposed to the public's, possible germs or viruses. They refuse to put their celery in plastic sleeves, they have all their large size apples exposed for everyone to touch or possible sneeze or cough on pending on the type of mask they are wearing. I'v recommended they zip lock their grapes so no one can stick their hand in or cough or sneeze on. These are a few examples although there are many more. I am aware that cooking the vegetables will kill any germs or viruses but you do not cook most fruits.Then the clencher is the amount of regular product that is not on the shelves. I'm not talking paper products, I'm talking veal chops, pre-packaged honey ham, etc.... When I ask if there is any in the back I always get the same answer that there is a truck coming in or is in but it is not out yet, "check back later" I am not interested in coming back to wait in line. My question is why aren't the shelves stocked at night so when customers there @ 10 or 11:00 in the Am they can get what they need. Check out is totally over kill and wasted time. Essentially, I find Wegman's to be nothing more than a glorified ACME. Same kind of arrogant employees who act like they're mad at the world, same scroungy produce, same frozen, brought back from the dead baked goods, same disgustingly mediocre prepared meals. This place is a good super market, but the only reason why I'm giving it two stars is because of the service. I suffer from a severe peanut allergy, and I've always loved the fruit tart at Wegmans. However recently they have started stating their baked goods aren't peanut safe. The staff are always really friendly, don't get me wrong. It's just their answers to my questions. One time, I asked if the fruit tart was peanut safe and they said of course. The next time I asked they said no. Each time I ask it's a different answer. So I just avoid the fruit tart now. This Wegmans is my favorite grocery store in the area. The produce is super fresh. I love their store made breads. Everything that I have tried from the store brand has been high quality. Plus this Wegmans has a beer, wine & spirits store attached. I will also add that the store employees go above and beyond to answer questions and help me find any item I am looking for. read more

It was love at first sight. I walked the cafe section and was literally in awe. They have a salad bar with cold salad items and pasta salads and a hot bar with asian foods. There's also a soup counter, sushi counter, pizza counter, gelato counter... it's literally a food court in there complete with 2nd floor seating. The food looked amazing and was reasonably priced. Definitely not what I expected to see in a grocery store. Their meats are fresh and reasonably priced, and their seafood looks amazing and they have a great selection. They have the same groceries as my local supermarket but they also have their house brand with great products and lots of specialty sections. And their prices are competitive. Their ethnic foods section has a great selection of different items, it's really awesome. They have a section of the store with all natural foods, it's like a mini whole foods inside the store. It's really great. Really nice cheese counter. They even have a housewares type section complete with a LeCruset display! I love this store. I'm sad it's an hour away :( read more

This review is solely about the alcohol department. My friend and I came here on a mission -- find good pumpkin beer -- and it was a success! There was a whole display of pumpkin and other fall beers, and you could buy a mixed 6 pack of them for $10.99. Such a good deal for the quality beers they had! One of the staff members noticed that my friend and I were having trouble deciding which beers to get, so he came over and made some recommendations. He knew all about the different beers, which ones were sweeter versus darker, and which ones we should avoid. I ended up with a 6-pack of delicious beers and a large bottle of the Long Trail Imperial Pumpkin. Before Robert Wegman died, I would have given this store 5 stars. Now the shelves are increasingly stocked with Wegman's brand products (which I find inferior to the name brand products they are displacing). One example is - it's hard to find Gianelli's Italian pork sausage (which was awesome) there anymore. Instead you can find plenty of the (awful, in my opinion) Wegman's Italian sausage. Another issue - I've had to return chickens to them 5 times because they smelled bad long before their due date (two times on the same day I bought them). No apologies given or anything for the bad product, it's just tough luck that I had to spend my time and money to drive to the store to return the rotten meat. Recently I bought organic chicken breasts that barely smelled acceptable (so I didn't bother to return it) and so much water came out when I cooked it. At $13 for three chicken breasts I would've expected better. I buy my chickens from Costco or Whole Foods anymore --- never got burned at either place on quality. I don't care much for the prepared foods, but my kids will eat it. The quality is really lacking and it's not that cheap. I don't mind paying more for food, but the quality should match the price. Not everything about the Mt. Laurel Wegman's is bad. Here is what's good: 1) Fruits and Vegetables are usually good quality and selection. 2) Bakery 3) Deli 4) Frozen wild caught shrimp 5) Shell steaks behind the counter 6) Liquor store - way better than Martin's Liquor across the street which I think charges 10% *over* list on some things I've bought when in a hurry. 7) The store looks attractive, even if the placement of some items is confusing when they rearranged the store to make room for the liquor store. read more

Ok, Wegman's was really, really good for awhile but I have to say they are a bit full of themselves now. The cashiers are just not into their jobs and I really look hard before determining which register to approach. Sounds odd, but the bad customer experiences are getting to me. Can they just be trained to say hello and maybe look at our faces when we come up to pay for our items. I know quite a few people right now who need jobs and would be happy to take theirs if they are so unhappy. This does not go for the people who work in the store - butcher, cheese people etc.... They seem to be more professional. Selection at Wegmans is very good although if you want to compare 3 or 4 same type items you have to go to 3 or 4 different places. Also, just to get in the entrance - not sure who designed it but 4 to 5 rows of carts and a RED BOX machine certainly slows down the ability to get into the store and is very frustrating. Overall I love wegmans but a few changes need to be made for us mamas!!! I was so pissed a guy literally ran to a kids cart and didn't have a kid his son was like 14 and could barely fit in cart, his knees were at the end of the cart! So I see the cart people bringing in carts I ask are there any kids carts, immediate response well if you don't see any their aren't any! Ok wait a Minute I've been shopping at this store for years and I've never got this response!!! So I said to the female cart attendant can you radio to see if anyone has a kid cart in sight, which she did and one was found!!! Everytime I come it's a battle for a kids cart so why not order more!!!! And can we create a non candy check out line!!! I'm a firm parent my no means no!! I don't care how much they cry! Those chocolate eggs are a mess!!! I like wegmans but shop rite offers candy free aisles for us mommas and never seems to be out of kids carts! I recently drove all the way to Wegman's from Philly so I could buy canning supplies. Somehow, they had no salt in the store due to an order and delivery error. I needed canning salt, so one of the managers (whose name I failed to get at the time) offered to have their florist drop a box off for me at my house, no charge for salt or delivery. I have to say, that is the best customer service I have ever gotten from a grocery store in my life. read more

I have had several bad experiences at wegmans within the last few months. I had a piece of plastic in the Mac and cheese that they supposedly make. I put it in an envelope (it was still yellow) and I was treated like a liar. In the end they reimbursed me $3 for something that could have potentially killed me. No I'm sorry either. There are many stories about their rude and unknowledgeable staff but this is the best. I purchased a medium hot soup $4.99. When I got home the lid was not on right and now I have a living room rug full of soup. Since I am partially disabled I can't get it off my carpet until someone helps me tomorrow. Oh, Wegman's! somewhere a Midwestern chain called Dominick's made spawn with Whole Foods and that sweet babychild is first cousins with Trader Joes. Hard to follow like a grocer soap opera, but you get what I'm saying. Wegman's treats their workers right and the produce ranges from local, organic, to your run of the mill. Don't get me wrong, if you have the opportunity to get food at a farmer's market and grow/eat locally, do it. But for those who might not, why Wegman's is your guy. Things to love: completely physical disability accessible with wide aisles for wheelchair users and any of their scooters available; their impressive hot food bar that outwits any big city chain with piping hot and fresh fare; the samples come ample!; the alcohol section is massively comprehensive on local beer and microbrews to the finest of scotches. I wish I were in walking distance to wegman's right now. I would slather every starch in sight with their many dips. That's the truth, friends. read more

it's an average of 3 stars for this wegmans in mount laurel: 4 stars for the liquor store, 2 stars for the grocery store. let's start with the good. the liquor store is not just a few bottles of wine and takeout beer. the liquor selection rivals a canal's and they have a lot of different wines from many regions. wines are usually available to sample and their "menu" magazine includes suggested wine pairings with wegmans recipes. the beer selection is better than what i thought it would be, and unless you are really looking for something rare, you should be able to find what you need here. prices for liquor and wines are on par, if not better, than most large discount liquor stores in jersey. still the cheapest handle of jim beam (26.99) i've seen in this area. unfortunately, the lqiuor store comes at a price and that is the reduced space of the grocery store, which really makes it feel small for food shopping. the aisles were re-arranged in a way that still doesn't make sense to me, with smaller aisles and higher shelves. it gets crowded there, and unlike the cherry hill location (a 5-star wegmans, imo) they do not have self-checkout lines. i've also found them to be out of an item i've been looking for quite often. for that reason, i am lucky i live less than 10 mins from the cherry hill store. i wouldn't do my grocery shopping there, but if i needed booze for a big party or was in the mt. laurel area in need of a few items, i'd go over other area stores. however, if you only need groceries, go to cherryl hill. read more

Everyone Loves Wegmans Delicious Food And Their Muffins Are Fantastic You Can Eat Anything You want

I usually stop here once or twice a week on my way to work as I prefer to make my own food at work since I got sick of pizzeria food years ago. Their meat selection isn't very good, I like buying a brisket or pork shoulder to toss in my crock pot at work and eat that for the week. However when I have bought meat there it is pretty decent and their hours are more convenient for me than Ellis street butchers down the street. Their premade lunch buffet/lb stuff they have at the far end of the store is pretty good but whenever I fill up a container it ends up being in the neighborhood of $25 so I try to stay away from there. LOL I like their large selection of greek yogurt, I only buy one or two, but having a large selection available is always nice (and makes it more likely what I buy will still be there when I make it in :D ) Their canned vegetables are good and I almost always buy a couple cans when I go in just to make sure I stay stocked up. Their Organic stuff is a mixed bag. I've had some stuff like their organic black bean dip which I feel is a touch heavy on the lime, but is still quite good. Their Organic dill relish however makes me wonder how it is even classified as edible. It tasted like straight alum mixed with some cheap watery white vinegar with some cardboard chunks left in it to soak. One of the main reasons I frequent Wegmans is because it's just about the only place on the east coast where I can find dill pickle relish. Sweet relish? Everyone carries that. Hot dog relish? It's made with sweet relish. India relish? It's got sugar in it so therefore it's sweet relish as far as I'm concerned. Hamburger relish? Yes I've seen it, yes it's made with sweet relish. Corn relish? Come on, that's not even made from pickles! So yeah, I think whoever decided to start putting sugar in pickles should be taken out into the street and beaten with a rubber hose. Their organic dill relish? It was almost bad enough that I wasn't going to shop here anymore. Seriously . . . THAT . . . BAD. Their bakery is great, there are a couple breads that are worth getting there rather than just waiting till I get into Philly to buy. Plus they get Pechter's rye bread. If I buy bread 80% of the time or more it's this stuff. Word to the wise, they get their order from Pechter's every Tuesday, you're welcome. Wegman's is my go to grocery most of the time. There are still some things I'll go elsewhere for but quite often I notice they are more expensive than Wegman's on some stuff. read more

From the many stories I have heard they do the very opposite and mislead the public to think they represent a family store. Similar layout as the Cherry Hill version, but with wine and spirits and beer, oh my! That said, I think the latter has a better selection - the liquor store and pharmacy seemed to crowd things out. Apart from that, it's kind of off the beaten path (at least for this gal) in a suburban sprawl wasteland (and by that, I mean there is a Costco, Sports Authority, Bed Bath & Beyond etc etc etc all in the same gigantic strip mall). But I'll likely be back, probably because of the many birds, one stone possibilities. read more

Very convenient super market located on Rt 38 in Mount Laurel. There is alot to love about this place. First they have everything you need including a fully stock liqueur store. The food is always fresh and they have alot of organic products that are more reasonable than Whole Foods. Their market cafe has plenty of selections from Asian cuisine, soup and salad and also full entrees. They also have a great selection of 6, 8 and 10 dollars meals that you can take home heat up. Most portions are large enough for two people. The staff is always helpful and you don't have to wait long in lines even on a Saturday.One or our favorite places to shop. read more

When it first opened, I remember going to one first to arrive, on Rte 1 By Princeton.This one came near me, was so excited about it. They have astounded me they keep up with local markets like Shop rite, which I frequent , Out beating them , too. Compare prices from 2-3 places, their prices are competitive and fresh too. Before moving to south jersey i never experienced shopping at a wegman's and now after two years in mt laurel with one minutes away it is pretty damn awesome. the staff is always friendly and quick and the prices are pretty good for some quality brands. Hell, even their Wegman's brand foods are great and they have a great selection of meats, cheeses and other "high brow" stuff. The cafeteria/food court is amazing and we'll just eat there if we can't think of what to eat for dinner or lunch. They have many choices (both healthy and not so healthy). Their dinning area is on the second floor and is away from the hubbub of a supermarket, which is great. Very clean and spacious too boot. Will miss the wegmans while living out in Pittsburgh. read more

Fabuloous! There are only a couple of supermarkets I've seen in the country that compare to Wegman's It is truly like no other !! Great for lunch or supper - or for groceries. It is a family-owned business, and it shows. The offerings come from a love of food and family - even for members of the family not at home (their food court offerings). The only supermarkets I've run across that compares is Cardenas Markets in Southern California and New Sagaya in Anchorage. Wegmans keep on keeping on!. read more

I just love their market here! I haven't had anything that's not good. From their salad bar to their chicken wings. From the sushi to the dinners. The bakery and the pizza.
