The times I go the shelves are empty .Lately I am getting disgusted because our president keeps playing with food prices and the American people cannot even afford food on their table . What a foodie wonderland this is. It was our first time checking out Wegmans in August and we were blown away by all the options. We live in New York and we're driving through new Jersey on our way back home from a month long road trip. When we walked in, every employee we encountered was warm and inviting. We tried some sushi rolls and they were fresh and delicious. I picked up some organic peanut butter and snacks. We also picked up organic peeled tomatoes and bread flour to make marinara sauce and pizza dough. The cashier was kind and and was playful with our daughters. There was a man on line that recognized my husband's veteran hat and struck up a conversation about his service in the military. Before hitting the road we used the bathroom and it was very clean. Wegman's is a familiar brand although previously unfamiliar with this location. We stopped in for some meals to go. We had a variety of items from the Asian bar, a chicken shawarma salad, sushi, and pork wontons. Everything was as expected although the employee in self-checkout watched me try to find the Asian bar on the self-checkout for a few minutes until she finally came over, sighed, pressed some buttons and added it on to my order. Can't recommend this enough. I was a hater before. But when Covid gave us supply chain issues that other stores still haven't recovered from (Target), Wegman's was there for me. Open early and late, carries more than just food, wonderful flower and Christmas tree and firewood selection. Best of all is the app. I make a list at work and it tells me the EXACT aisle to find things! Wegmans put me in the mind of a Supersized Whole Foods. They have something for everyone. Off you can't find it in Wegmans, it wasn't created. I didn't get a picture of the imported cheese section. They have cheese from every part of the world. You could sell the Munster cheese before you are even near the area. This store is staffed with really friendly associates in the floor. At the register at check out, not so much. The interaction night and day. As we browse through Wegman's looking for Fresh Pet for Zeus, I found myself picking up items for myself because the pricing was so reasonable. Florida grocery prices are way higher. My auntie thought Wegmans was higher priced until I compared my receipts from down south. Everything is organized. Each specialty section of the store is clean and easy to navigate. Walking through the hot bar area made me hungry. In the cold area, you have salads, poke bowls, sushi and more. The dessert/ bakery has a smorgasbord of cakes, pies, breads and puddings. I did not walk through the seafood market. There's Fresh and Frozen seafood to pick from. A whole meat market area and then you move through the inner aisles. Let me tell you, no culture is left out. Hubby and I were saying how we loved the diversity of people in Wegmans. It's definitely because of the selection of items available at this location. I normally do NOT like sandwiches, especially cold ones. But this one from Wegman's (a medium priced grocery store with well organized shelves) truly blew me out of the water. You order at the deli counter in store, pick your type/types of meat (I tried the assorted one), then add any veggies you'd like at the same price. The staff were so friendly! The flavors were so perfectly marinated together - crunchy veggies, savory cold cut meats, the sauce... incredible!!!! The sub was incredibly long and more than enough for two meals. read more

Choose a foot long hero roll baked daily and choose from their menu of basic combinations (Italian, ham and cheese, tuna) or customize your torpedo with choices of meats, toppings and condiments limited only by your imagination (extra meat is of course... extra.) Sure it's a few bucks more than the host of drive-by sandwich chains but unless I'm literally starving, I'd rather not gobble down some water-logged, sodium infused street meat if I don't have to. Yet another fantastic Wegman's establishment. They never disappoint. After grubbing it up in the Elevated dining area, I floated through the aisles. In aisle 6 of this Wegman's, I saw God. Being a 2nd wave reformist Episcopalian atheist, you can imagine my surprise! My knees turned to jelly as I looked into his beady little eye. For my location, this is the closest "suburban" grocery store outside of downtown Philadelphia. The cheese selection alone is superb. For your common grocery items they offer quite a few variations (goat milk, oak milk, unpasteurized milk, etc, you get the picture). Prices are reasonable, too. read more

I love that this store has a lot of things that normal grocery stores do not have! I don't mind driving a little further and the prices are right if not better than ShopRite's. People think Wegman's is expensive because they look at the pre-made foods but if you look at the regular merchandise you'll see that it is not bad at all. Although the prices have changed drastically since pre-pandemic, there are still other items that we desire that are unobtainable at my local Shoprite, so we make the hike to Cherry Hill, Mt. Laurel, or even King of Prussia with a brief mall visit before hand. 1 things I will say that I notice b/c I ALWAYS buy from their bakery and their seafood. 1. They not only increased the price of their crab cakes, but they no longer make them in house. So sad.. and an inferior product to their own in house crab cakes. 2. Their cheese cake slices!! From $4 to $5 a slice.... AND they cut them smaller, and today i noticed EVEN SMALLER AGAIN!! JOKE!! They cut their price back to $4.75/slice now, and it's cut even smaller!! And the quality tastes different and inferior to the prior. I'm sure there is a bunch more shortcuts they have made with other in-house products while outsourcing to save and make more $$. Each of us notice certain things that we were big fans of! For me, it was their crab cakes and their cheese cake slices! Both more expensive, both inferior products, and now even made OUTSIDE of Wegmans from a third-party company. read more

Great store. Always clean and well stocked. However, the upgrade to the self check out is the most overbearing, over sensitive, and annoying thing possible. It's been made much slower and complains if you dare to put anything directly into a bag, forcing you to call over an employee. I use self check out because I never want to talk to people, so what's the point if I need to anyway? The arbitrary 25 item limit is also ridiculous when I'm taking advantage of Wegmans' late hours of service and nobody else is there but me, but I still need to make two separate transactions. Roll back this supposed upgrade and Wegmans can't be beaten; otherwise, for the interaction-averse losers of the world like me, they have taken an enormous step back. read more

I don't recommend the deli counter for sliced cheeses. Went there the other day and ordered half a pound of white american cheese. Found specs of something on the cheese which did not look very appetizing. Ended up throwing all of it in the garbage. Surprised that the person cutting this did not see it. Yuck! read more

Pros: they have a wonderful selection of Latin & Asian foods compared to other wegmans locations. Cons: the cashier checking us out was rude. I'm not from New Jersey, and had no idea plastic bags were banned. At our wegmans in PA they use paper bags. I asked if they had bags and she rudely said "no." Didn't tell me why, didn't tell me I could purchase reusable bags. Good thing I keep plastic bags in my car, otherwise my groceries would have probably gotten ruined during transportation. read more

Great grocery store. At first I was a bit apprehensive to shop here because I thought it was kind of expensive. Bought some hot food which was really good and left. Then I came back and literally walked the whole store. They have excellent prices and choices. Stuff you can't find at regular groceries. When you are from a food desert Wegmans is about as close to heaven as it gets. First, their prepared foods are great. The groceries are so far beyond the staples, international items, special diet, etc...it can't be explained For me the standout things I will miss are the cannoli dip and chips, the Amore sauces, the tomato pie, Wegmans fresh pasta items and ice cream/sherberts Customer service is amazing as is curbside pickup. Living in Philly, I must admit that Wegmens is worth the tolls and the hype! Think of it as a smaller Costco without the membership fees and accompanied by a very large and expansive liquor within walking distance. Even during the worst of the covid craze, Wegmen did a great job in maintaining perishable and common item supplies. The prices are much more competitive than the Philly stores and the $5 whole roasted chicken is a steal! I definitely came in here with a 'few' grocery items, and left with too many bags to carry. Of note, I do think the bagged vegetables , especially kale, tends to be of lower quality and spoil fast, but no issues otherwise. read more

Simply the best supermarket in the area. Only complaint is the parking lot and entering and exiting the shopping center. That's why I shop at 11pm or first thing in the morning. Prices are much more reasonable than people believe. Their food is always fresh and the staff is great. read more

My rating is specifically for the separate building that sells alcohol outside the physical location of the actual supermarket. I love this Wegmans for that reason -- I can shop for alcohol without wading through a lot of other customers. The other nearby Wegmans locations do not have this defining feature. It makes your shopping trip real easy if you are just trying to get alcohol. On the flipside, it could also mean making it less convenient if you are also trying to get food. The layout of the building means wine, beer, and spirits are in separate sections. Navigating is easy and there are never too many persons in the store so you can move about with ease. There is even a separate room clad with wood paneling that houses the expensive wines. The wines selection is diverse and you can easily get bottles in the single digit range. Beers are varied -- they have imports, crafts, and the usual brands. Very good selection. Overall, there is a lot of section for great prices. read more

While Hung Vuong supermarket is the Asian grocery store go to, Wegmans is the American equivalent supermarket. The place is just as big and clean like Hung Vuong's. The selection of organic items is impressive. Much more than Whole Foods. Price point is noticeably just as expensive as Whole Foods but you get the quality you paid for. Wow, can I move in and pay rent? This store is fantastic and has everything you need. From fresh produce to hot foods to toiletries and dog toys, you can literally find anything in here. It looks just like a whole foods, but more affordable, what more could you want? This location is an extremely large store located in a shopping complex (with a wegmans liquor store right next door!) so it has tons of parking, though on weekends and nights, it can still get busy. There are tons of freshly made products (especially the breads and desserts section - yum!) and even has an ample loft style seating area above the store so you can eat your hot meal in house! You can honestly buy some snacks and coffee, study, and have a full meal without leaving the store. 5/5 Highly recommended store. On 11/28/2023 at approximately 7:30pm I visited Wegmans located at 2100 Route 70, Cherryhill, NJ. I went shopping after work for my father who's a disabled retired veteran, and my stepmother who has arthritis and can't stand for long periods of time so my sister and I often do their shopping for them. Needless to say I filled one large cart to capacity and asked Damien (front end manager) if it was "okay for me to leave my bags" (which were under the cart along with my) shopping cart" up front while I retrieved another cart? Damien replied "sure just put it up here by customer service." I asked Damien "will my bags be safe no one would take them would they because I have a lot more stuff to purchase?" Damien stated "no it'll be fine." I spotted an abandoned cart by the freezer isle and retrieved it and proceeded to shop. I found most items and asked for assistance for others from various associates. Around 8:35pm I proceeded to the register and noticed 4-5 associates standing around my cart looking while three (which included Damien)were digging through it and a police officer stood by. I asked "what's going on why are y'all going through my things?" They all looked up puzzled then one associate said "oh you I remember you" (she was one I asked for assistance while shopping) this associate proceeded to tell me they were checking through my things for cold items because the cart was there for 45 minutes and I hadn't returned. I looked and Damien and said "I asked you was it okay, and you stated yes." Damien said "we thought you had left the store" I said you guys have cameras and several of these associates (standing around) helped me. I got in the first line in front of customer service with cashier Mariah who mad a funny look to the cashier next to her when I was asking questions pertaining to my cart. Mariah rang my items in the cart I was currently pushing then asked me if I "still wanted the items in the cart over there (pertaining to the items in my cart by customer service" I stated "yes, but please wait until I finish bagging these items first."I then asked Mariah if she'd "like me to pay for these items now" (which were a little over four hundred dollars) and she stated "no it's fine." Once Mariah pushed over the second card and completed ringing all my items she asked if I had I bonus card which I entered and then I proceeded to swipe my fathers payment method. A yellow message came up and Mariah stood to the side and I asked "what happened?" She stated she "needed a balance" I asked "a balance of what" Mariah stated "I'm not sure I'm waiting for a supervisor." Cheryl another manager was standing at a little window talking to someone, Mariah got her attention she then walks over and asked Mariah what's wrong Mariah stated " I don't know it said something about a balance." My coworker who's still on the telephone during this whole encounter said "a balance?" I stated "I don't know I saw nothing about a balance?" Cheryl said "swipe ya card again" I swiped the card a message came on the automated payment machine asking if I'd like a balance I went to click no and Cheryl says "hit yes" I said I don't need a balance she hit the yes button and said "we'll I do" I asked "for what" she says "because I do" with the nastiest attitude to mankind she was extremely rude. After seeing there was ample funds on the card Cheryl looks at me and says "because your total is over 800 and I have to override it that's why" (which was a blatant lie). No one in the store need to know my balance I order to override the total when it never stated insufficient funds/decline. I stood there bagging my groceries and stated to the cashier (Mariah) I may need to purchase a few more bags at which time "Cheryl" states "they're 99 cents a piece" (in a condescending tone) I informed Cheryl " I know the price." Mariah then asked "would you like me to ring you up for some how many?" I looked on the floor realizing I had another huge bag so I replied to Mariah "give me a minute once I use this bag I'll let you know if I need more." Mariah walked off, Cheryl left and I over heard her talking about to another associate which was fine the officer was standing there with a smirk the whole time and it was all around the worst experience ever. I asked the cashier next to Mariah for her name she stated she didn't know, I then asked the associate standing at customer service and she provided me with the cashier as well as the manager's names. I didn't get the older associate's name at customer service but she did ask me on my way out if I needed assistance loading my vehicle, which I declined. My coworker stated "I don't blame you after that horrible level of customer service and that woman was the first person I heard offer help after spending over $800 in their store." When I got to my vehicle Mariah was walking by in her cellphone I said "excuse me Mariah can I ask you a question?" at which time she replied "sure." read more

Most Wegmans are all the same, but one thing I enjoy about this location is having the alcohol/liquor store as a separate building as it has more to offer and well stocked. The disadvantage is the location and getting in and out of the parking lot, especially during the weekends, after work traffic, holidays, etc. not to mention for 4K shops, figuratively speaking, near by. I much prefer to go to the Mount Laurel location but this is still a great alternative. read more

Finally moved back (gah!) to Cherry Hill and now can't believe that this is my "local"! Okay, Whole Foods is actually much closer to my house, but prices here are more reasonable and the store is much larger with more variety here. But quality is top notch and like WF, a lot of their products are made in house and of high quality. During the fall, they make this amaaaaazing orange cranberry bread that I stock up on when it becomes available. Their bakery is top notch and a lot of their pre-made foods in the meat and seafood section is well worth it for ease of cooking when you are too brain dead to think ahead. Wegmans is a first class grocery store with excellent fresh produce beautifully displayed, and a bakery which is second to none featuring fresh made breads, cakes, pies, donuts, cookies, and various ethnic type pastries. The prepared food section is one of the best I have seen in any grocery store, the quality is truly outstanding and the various food bars are well stocked and meticulously maintained. There is a separate section for bulk food item purchases, like disposal paper goods, can goods etc. with pricing that is very competitive. In my opinion Wegmans is light years ahead of Whole Foods in every single category, I only wish we had one in my area. read more
