im so sad that they discontinued the kiwi king salmon roll! it was really tasty! the nigiri is pretty good too! it's fresh and it satiates my sushi craving!

Family sized sushi platter usually costs less than buying two rolls btw. This is a salmon roll platter. Fish to rice ratio was excellent.

Note: Yelp doesn't do .5 star increments. The only reason I'd give Wegmans 4.5 stars is because of prices, but if you're smart with what you buy you won't break your budget. Before I discovered Asia Cuisine's nigiri, I'd go to Wegmans to fulfill my sushi cravings when I'm in Ithaca. Anything Wegmans brand almost always tastes immaculate. There's a reason why so many stores study Wegmans as their inspo for their own store layout.

According to my Mom, "if you can't find it at Wegmans it doesn't exist. This is a 5 star grocery store and the words "grocery store" don't do it justice. Walking through this adult amusement park is nothing short of amazing. I watched an employee in the gourmet cheese section organize a beautiful display. Remember, this is a grocery store!! Now, the one issue, an older gentleman decided he wanted to tell me not only how to wear my mask but guilted me into wearing one he handed me. Mine had fallen below my nose and this man stopped all progress to scold me. Besides my dad working there, I LOVE Wegmans.

Solid fruit and fresh local milk and cheeses. The bomb tomatoes are sweet, they have bone-in lamb shank and plenty of meat and chicken during this time. Lots of prepacked items and yet still open donut trays for people to self serve... guess donuts don't carry virus? =p. Still, a good selection of basic Chinese veggies and ethnic foods and solid produce section. Still, nice to see wipe downs, sanitized carts with wipes and Purell all over. Paper bags for 5c and reuseable for $1.

"Never think about yourself; always help others" is Mr. Robert Wegmans' motto. What a wonderful guy! Every leader needs to set a good example for their people/workers. So far, I've visited three of their stores and it clearly shows that. Workers are professionals and stores are spanking clean and neat. I love the fact that this store carries just about everything. It's like Trader Joe's, safeway, and Whole Foods all put together but better. Prices are also reasonable too. I enjoy their affordable bakery section with all the cute pastries and cakes. You can get a free cookie or an apple for your child. If you're not from the east coast like me, this place is worth the visit.

What an awesome store to shop in. If you are looking for something specific I'm sure you will find it or something equivalent here. This is our new favorite store despite we live in California, we can only enjoy it while visiting upstate NY.

The coffee was so good! It was not as sweet as most places make their flavored lattes so the rich coffee flavor was really the star of the show! A perfect mix of all the flavors. The sushi was also good, but rolls were constructedly slightly loosely so it kind of fell apart. However, the salmon tasted incredibly fresh. The salad was really good, especially the dressing. The acidic vinegarette really balanced the bold flavors of the olives. The feta was also a nice touch!

Dearest Wegmans, Until you make your way to Brooklyn I need to settle for visiting random stores when I travel throughout upstate NY... Of course we stopped by while visiting Ithaca for a long weekend. We stocked up on snacks for our hikes, grabbed some meat for the grilling later and definitely took home a loaf of Garlic Tuscan Bread (my favorite!). I was so glad to see all my favorites stocked on the shelves. And that beer section you have? Fantastic! Thanks for being you... which is awesome. I miss you! Please open your BK store soon! Your always faithful shopper, Alyssa P. ps. I was impressed by your collection of "Ithaca is Gorges" t-shirts. And now that we've left I'm kicking myself for not purchasing one. Next time. ;-)

I live in New Mexico. Moving to Ithaca soon. How does Wegmans compare to Sprouts and Whole Foods?

A shout out to Trader Joe's snacks!…read more Dried Kalamata Olives in a snack? Only Trader Joe's would offer that. Well, we love Greek olives, so we tried the Olive & Herbs Mixed Nuts: roasted cashew and pecan pieces, roasted almond slices (in the bag and on the label, but not listed in the ingredients), dried Kalamata (made with sea salt, safflower oil, EVOO), lightly coated with a powdered herb mix (oregano, sage, thyme, basil, marjoram, rosemary). The nuts taste fresh, and shine through the herbs. Note: This is Not a trail mix. Be prepared for a real kick of Kalamata flavor! A number of us felt the olive flavor was too strong. For me, it was heavenly intensity. It does make for a snack to savor, more than one to dive into. And please consider if a Greek olive flavor will go with your beverage. Vodka? Sure. Gin? Maybe. I might try mezcal before tequila. I dont care what the "dirty" recipes say, I veto vermouth. Hmm. Moonshine or Everclear? Who says this can't be fun?
