Great coffee shop in The Joule Hotel. Plenty of room to sit and work in a beautiful, bright, and clean space. Coffee is great and very strong! Staff is very friendly! read more

Such a cute coffee shop! I work across the street so i usually come here 2-4 times a week. I usually get a Dirty chai latte with oat milk and they have the best by FAR! Also, they're breakfast tacos or donuts are delicious if you're looking for a little morning snack. It is a little pricey, but so worth it. The staff is super friendly and inviting. I love coming by and they remember my name and order!! read more

Great customer service at Weekend Coffee! I had their cappuccino with agave and it was pretty solid. My only critique is that whenever I asked what coffees they had for pour overs, the barista brought me a bottle with coffee beans inside to smell it, but it smelt old and it made me gravitate to a cappuccino. However, I smelt the Victrola coffee beans through the retail bag and it smelt delicious, so my point is, switch out your beans daily to let customers smell fresh beans. Overall, solid coffee and a pretty convenient coffee shop located in downtown Dallas next to the Giant Eyeball. read more

Used to love this place but apparently now they don't carry the buttermilk biscuits, only the cheddar ones that taste like poison. Good decision? read more

Solid location inside a hotel. Uses Counter Culture beans. Great drip coffee and espresso. Can't go wrong with this spot.

Best coffee, most knowledgable staff. I promised myself I wouldn't visit more than 3 times a week, but I end up in there more like 5 days a week. -ETA I liked it so much I work there now. (2018) read more

Great cold brew, very good vegetarian sandwich - avocado, cucumber, sprouts and provolone on whole grain bread. The only decent coffee shop I found in downtown Dallas. Ample seating and wifi because it's in the lobby of a hipster hotel. read more

Coffee at the Hyatt regency sent in me search of something tasty. Took a hot walk down commerce and found an oasis in a coffee desert. Took their time, made it proper. Excellent foam. read more

Weekend Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Incredible coffee here. Love the atmosphere and cheery staff! Will definitely come back. Great place to unwind or start your day

This place is amazing. Any food you buy at Sanremo is tasty and fresh. I visit this place regularly every Saturday since I am not from Toronto. Everything was excellent! read more

Great coffee I got a iced Vanilla latte with almond milk and it was super good. Sad part is it's in a hotel so you will walk around trying to find it unless you know it's in there. Super cute scenery though read more

Hello Yelpers! I had a horrible experience at The Flying Horse. The coffee tasted so bad I threw out their coffee, walked 1/2 a block and stumbled into The Weekend. I ordered an iced cold brew and cappuccino. Both were delicious and had perfect sweetness. The shop is small but the location in the hotel is like an art gallery/museum. Perfect atmosphere and good service. Drink more and not less! read more

Cute little place. Stopped by for some coffee while I was in town. A friend recommended but it was hard to find. Coffee was ok and the atmosphere is clean and cute. read more

I was in Dallas for a few days, and stopped at this beautiful storefront cafe. It is part of the Joule hotel and has a modern upscale boutique feel to it. I would recommend the gibraltar, which was brewed perfectly. The baristas were helpful and engaging and really made you feel welcomed. I subsequently returned every morning. I would like to give a big SHOUTOUT to Nicole Thornbrough, manager at Weekend Coffee. I had purchased a ceramic tumbler from their store and long story short, it broke during the transport in my luggage. I had reached out to the manager and she graciously provided a new one to me. I am extremely appreciative of the exceptional service provided. Beyond the amazing coffee, the people truly care about their customers. If you are ever in Downtown Dallas, make no mistake, you MUST stop by Weekend Coffee. By far the best coffee and service in the area. read more

It's so nice to get a chic and trendy coffee shop in downtown Dallas. The hotel lobby is a gorgeous boho/west elm mix. Awesome specialty coffee choices, a coffee snob would approve. Only complaint is some of the baristas are better than others so your coffee experience might vary depending on who your barista is. If your not picky with your coffee (which I am) you might not even notice. Have to give a shout of to the gentlemen baristas here, the ladies have been the ones that have been inconsistent from time to time. Sorry girls. read more

I love cold brewed coffee and this is the best place I've had it at so far! It is a little pricey at $4 for a cup but you definitely get what you pay for. No experience with their breakfast foods because let's face it...they are not going to be healthy so I stay away. The cashier or whatever they are called at coffee places was nice and had a smile when she greeted me. Definitely recommend and will be back soon! read more

First coffee shop I've had in Dallas and with how good it is might be the last. Modern ambiance and excellent coffee. Located in downtown Dallas, you can take a nice walk and stop into this cool little place for a tasty coffee. I ordered my usual drink, a vanilla latte, and it's one of the best I've had. Definitely coming back. read more

Spensive, but coffee vibes were off the chain. Atmosphere is 10/10. Located in a hotel, but the lobby has plenty of places for studying or chilling. read more

Good but not amazing coffee; pricey for the size ($3.50 for a small cup). Friendly staff. Almond pastry was large and tasted good, but was soggy in the middle. I won't be going back. read more

Great coffee comes with a price tag, especially if its in a luxury hotel, but personally I am willing to pay the price because its totally worth it. The baristas at this shop were super friendly and efficient. You would never expect to find such a cute little place in this hotel, so I am thankful for the recommendation to find this place. They were kind enough to even make a kids "hot" (warm) chocolate for my niece who was enjoying some downtown adventures with me. read more

The best iced chai latte I've ever had. I would go here everyday if traffic in downtown wasn't so bad!

Great coffee! Cold brew is the most complicated coffee to get right and theirs is the best. Exceptionally friendly staff even when we wanders in close to closing on a Sunday and had lots of questions. Adorable branding to boot, plus the luxury of enjoying your latte or coffee in the gorgeous lobby seating of The Joule. My new favorite downtown spot. read more

Great iced tea, coffee, and selection of pastries. Well-designed, friendly service, good music, and plenty of room in the lobby of the Joule to chill or work on a laptop. Not perfect, but a solid 4.5 stars! read more

I have honestly been to all of the local coffee houses in Dallas and this one is my favorite. They make fabulous soy lattes, the service is great, and the atmosphere is perfect--artsy, clean, stylish. I enjoyed hanging out with my bf while we had our drinks on the comfy sofa. There's lots of art to look at and plenty of people watching since it's inside such a chic hotel. We'll absolutely be back! read more

Came here in desperate need to cool off and have an energy boost as well. This place is located in downtown inside a hotel. Very small and to the point coffee shop. The staff were exceptional and even gave my family some suggestions to explore. I ordered the cold brew which was indeed refreshing but I didn't get enough vanilla flavor as they were supposed to add some vanilla to it. My wife ordered the iced chai tea. She said it could've been sweeter but I honestly felt it was the best chai tea I've tasted. All in all, we both enjoyed this coffee shop. read more

Such a cute coffee place - love the trendy seating and details in the decor. More importantly, the coffee is excellent. I'm an unsweetened, plain, plain, PLAIN kind of coffee drinker - even with my coldbrew. My husband is too, but he recently tried the Americano and he said it was delicious. I ordered their coldbrew for the first time this weekend and was astounded by my how smooth it was! The staff is always nice and ready to answer questions. read more

Disclaimer: I'm biased based on the fact that I think The Joule is the most gorgeous, luxurious hotel in DFW and this coffee shop is located in the lobby of the hotel. So with that, I went to Weekend Coffee with high expectations and positive thoughts. I wasn't disappointed. The coffee shop itself is small, bright with a minimalistic feel. The barista was cool and chatted with me as I asked a million questions. I ordered my normal vanilla latte, which was full of flavor and delish. It was also pricey at $4 for a size smaller than the "tall" offered at SB. The barista mentioned that I visitors of the coffee shop can park at the hotel and have their parking ticket validated. There's also plenty of seating in the lobby for an afternoon of people watching. I grabbed my coffee and walked around for a second but I'll be back for a more lingering visit. read more

Love this place! Really nice baristas, and amazing coffee. Disappointed that the soft poached egg biscuit has been discontinued...

This place is okay I mean I don't think I'd go there again and the only reason I went is because I had a free coupon for a coffee however the staff is great! read more

Great coffee and nice vibes!! The branding for the coffee shop always caught my eye and I'm so glad I got visit! It's connected to the joule hotel and tenoversix where you can shop, have a nice coffee, and roam around the lobby of the hotel taking it all in! Worth the visit again! read more

Weekend Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dallas, Texas

The boyfriend and I came here to get a couple americanos and some pastries this morning. The cafe is inside a hotel lobby and is very trendy looking. They have tables and couches right outside the cafe to sit and relax in. This place had great reviews so we were excited to try it. The baristas were very cheerful and nice and attended to us right away. We saw on yelp that they were famous for their soft-boiled egg biscuit thing, but when we asked about it they told us it had been "discontinued." So we went with their regular buscuit and croissant. The biscuit was good but the croissant was very dry ...crazy huh? You'd think it would've been the other way around. Anyways, moving on to the americanos. They both tasted watered down and like day old coffee. We were not very impressed. read more

This was literally the most I've ever spent on coffee, and it wasn't even anything to write home about. I mean, $6.00 for a 12-ounce mocha? Save your money and walk a block to the next coffee shop. On the plus side, the pastries looked incredible. read more

The Weekend has the best coffee i've had in a long time, plus it's a great place to study and work. Super chill vibe, inspiring design and lovely baristas! read more

Located inside a hotel lobby and perhaps not designed as well as a lot of coffeeshops around; where Weekend Coffee is short on design, it's big on substance. Very smooth, albeit pretty simple espresso that has a very traditional caramel chocolate flavor without much of anything else. If someone wanted to try espresso for the first time, I'd put these shots near the top of the agreeable list. Also got a cortado (which they call a Gibraltar), and it was prepared well. Service was solid but not exceptional, friendly but not over the top. All in all, if you want a coffeeshop to deliver a solid espresso beverage without the glitter and snootery of many "craft coffee" shops, weekend coffee nails it. Perhaps a better name for weekend coffee would be "honest coffee": straight up good. Will return. Tomorrow morning. read more

Great coffee, but the customer service is poor. The baristas are very "snobby", they did not smile, ask how how they may help, say thank you or give any eye contact, basically it was take my money and get out of my store. read more

Great atmosphere-very clean and friendly. The coffee was very good, but not quite as strong as I like. I got an almond milk latte as usual, and it is difficult to find good coffee that stands up to the almond milk. All things considered, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Probably the best cappuccino I've had since studying abroad in Italy years back. The staff is amazing. Had a couple breakfast tacos that were on special and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Will definitely be back throughout my stay for their muffins and of course more coffee! read more

I'm a regular at this coffee shop and it's the best. The people are really nice and friendly, before I even started going regularly they had already remembered my name. The coffee is great and they have a nice little selection of breakfast food. They're open really early which is great. They have free wifi, just ask one of the baristas for the password. read more

$5 for a 12 oz cup of hot chocolate that tasted like dirty water, not chocolate at all. Really bad.

Cute place with friendly staff. The ambiance is fun and lively. I ordered a drip coffee because I didn't want to fork over $5.95+tax for a pour over. The regular drip coffee was okay. It tasted watered down (even for a light roast it tasted watered down). I would definitely come back to try some of their espresso drinks since that's what reviewers seemed to like best. read more
