Forget trying to get anything fixed as they will not show up for appointments. You will take off work to sit home and wait for norhing. Your appliances will not get serviced, but they sure will report to the manufacturer that they serviced your appliance, or they will lie to the manufacturer and say you made up the problems you are having with your appliances. If they do happen to show up, they will leave within 5 minutes and lie on the service report they file with the manufacturer claiming they completed all kinds of services. They lied to Whirlpool on two separate occasions when it came to servicing our appliances that are still under the manufacturer warranty. RENEE is the worse person to deal with as she is hateful, condescending, and a flat out liar. She obviously fits in with the rest of their lying employees. Take it from us... stay away from Mid-America. They are the absolute worse appliance service company.

He called her and was told that they were too busy and suggested we go to another repair company. She told me they have done what they could and the next available appointment was not for another 2 weeks. She again said that she needs us to go to another repair company as they will not be servicing us any longer. As a homeowner in Carbondale, I've called on this company twice this month, once for a furnace…read moreproblem and once for plumbing. The service was excellent both times. It's my go-to company from here out. The people who answered the phone were quick and friendly. When one of them needed to make a call to check on scheduling and said she'd call me right back, which always makes my heart sink, she actually did! They got someone to my house on the urgent furnace thing the day I called, and the non-emergency plumbing problem first thing the next morning, with no fuss or difficulty. Both technicians knew their stuff, were quick with the work and efficient with the billing, helpful in explaining things and friendly about my questions. I found the pricing very reasonable. The plumbing problem took two tries, and they didn't bill me for the second visit, only for the parts, which I thought very professional. I was so impressed that I signed up for their annual maintenance agreement, which includes biannual checks on the furnace and AC and a lower visit fee. You can tell there's high morale in the company, which is rare these days and of course makes a huge difference in how well a company works and gains customers. Apparently it was bought recently by a young couple who have high aspirations for building it into a larger business. From my short experience, they're making a great start. I just hope it can grow without losing this enthusiasm!
