Food truck inside of Dust Bowl Brewing - honestly, thought the food was really really good. Service was great too and food comes out in about 5-10 minutes. Highly recommend grab a snack from them while you enjoy the beer outdoors! Also just shouting out that these are some of the best fries that I've ever had. Just tried this food truck located at the Dust Bowl Brewing Co. Carnitas were too salty, and we can tell they used the same pork for the sandwich. Great food truck tacos. Would have liked to try the nachos and the wagu burger, but we only were visiting for a short time. I tried the fish taco and the corn elote taco. Very good . I can't hate . The tacos de pescado (Baja fish ) were legit , capturing the true to form style of Rosarito fish tacos which is , corn not flour tortilla , pico de gallo , salsa and crema . Good size , and the carnitas was good . Would do again next time at dust bowl brewery . read more

I ordered a mango beer and asked them to make it into a michi it was $1 more! Really good light and refreshing. I ordered a fish taco from wedo taco truck and it was delicious! Then I ordered a carnitas taco and I thought it was a bit too salty, but everything else was great, I get what they say about the guy at the truck being a little grumpy, he doesn't smile or say thank you or anything, I hope he's okay. My friend recommend this place to us and it didn't disappoint! I love the simple menu and the fresh ingredients. The food was really tasty and the people were super friendly. They had a ceviche special that day and it was really good. It's parked in the patio of a brewery so it pairs well with the drinks there. Very chill vibes and good food. This patio is also dog friendly as well! Definitely a must visit when you're in town! read more

We had lunch at Wedo's while at Dust Bowl Brewing Co. The service was fine, outdoor seating area was huge, but the food was disappointing. Normally I love taco trucks but after this, I just felt like I wished we had stopped somewhere else. I shared the carnitas nachos with my husband. The carnitas was actually just pulled pork, there was no crisp to the meat at all and the cheese sauce was bland. I tried a bite of the Smashburger, it was fine, nothing special. The saving grace was the chicken quesadilla which was pretty good, especially with the sauce, which tasted like a creamy avocado sauce. Service and food have gone downhill, while prices have escalated sharply. The fish in their fish tacos is now primarily batter. Prices are about twice what they were a few years ago. The posted menu is haggard and barely readable. Finally, when you're serving messy food, dripping with salsa and too much crema, some extra napkins and a fork might be helpful. I was quite impressed with all of the food. Fish Taco: good flavor all around. Well fried. The best part was the tortilla. Do they make them in the truck? They are REALLY good. Fired Zucchini: Our favorite of the day. I can't really say why, but they were really good. Pulled Pork Sandwich: all around solid. Not too dry Fries: Good and crispy. I was sad they were out of all their chicken stuff. My daughter really would have liked to have chicken tenders (although she still seemed to enjoy her carnitas taco) and I would have loved to try the spicy chicken sandwich. This location is tied into Dust Bowl Brewing. Came in with some friends for a late afternoon drink and was able to find a seat outside... it is nice that they have heaters as it got cooler as it got later. We ordered the fish tacos and the nachos. Both were so good and fresh... I wish they gave a little more sauce with the tacos, but they were good. Service can be a little spotty if you are outside, but ours was on point. Being outside and next to the wharf make for a pleasurable experience. read more

Stopped by Wedo's tacos for a quick bite. Ordered the Baja fish tacos and fries. The Baja fish tacos were good and tasty. Would have liked a bit more seasoning on them - maybe a bit more salt and pepper just to bring out all the flavors of the fish and crema. The crema had a good fresh flavor and was the right amount which was nice that the taco was not drowning in crema The slice of lemon was nice to have provided. The fries were fresh and had a good crisp to them and were enough for two to share. Overall it was good and I'd go back again to try more items. Large group ordered from this truck for lunch. They got our orders made in batches super fast! They parked next to the Dusty Bowl Brewery so the outside seating was really easy with the large benches. 9/10 Fries ~$8 - They come out piping out, crispy yet soft inside, and golden. Looked like there was some light seasoning but didn't taste much. Still we're some bomb fries. Portion size pretty small for price. 9/10 Fish tacos $5.25 - These were the best tacos they had. Fish was battered and crispy (ratio of meat to batter was perfect). Single wrap tortilla but not much filling on the fish. 8/10 Carnitas tacos $5.25 - second best taco. Pork was so juicy and tender. Not as much flavor but still pretty good. 7/10 Chicken tacos $5.25 - Flavor was mid. Not sure if it was the chicken or the different sauce/salsa but overall was ok. 7/10 Carnitas nachos $18 - carnitas meat was bomb as the tacos but not much in portion. Nachos had generous cheese but very little toppings. Also not that many chips actually. Not sure if this was worth it at all. read more

The food was good and the service was speedy. I also really love the location. Set up at Dust Bowl Brewery, an ideal food truck for the spot. We got the fish sandwich, the pulled pork, and fish tacos. All of their sandwiches come with fries. The fries were nice and crispy, the sandwiches were both yummy, BUT THE FISH TACOS THO! Omg..I never write reviews but I've never had street tacos that are so salty that I can't eat them...and with stale tortillas. Not to mention the guy at the counter hardly looked at me, my buzzer never went off to come get them and I had to go back to check on them and they were just sitting there...no comment from the guy at all. We came to Monterey for my birthday and what do we find inside the Dust Bowl eating area.... Best Taco place ever Wedo's Tacos!! They used to be in Elk Grove, Ca inside the Dust Bowl there. Then they closed. This place has excellent fish tacos and worth the price. They're big tacos. Got ourselves a couple beers from the Dust bowl and enjoyed these delicious tacos outside on a beautiful Monterey afternoon... great ambiance and the sound of seagulls close by.. lol watch your head and food. Half ass and food stinks. 45 minutes before closing and can't prepare orders to customer likeing. Cooks act disgruntled and disturbed when you order while open and complain as you're right there seeing them. Your sign says you're open. Quit cleaning the fryer and griddle and maybe work on cooking. read more

Everything was good. Probably better than I expected. Though the menu made some of the items sound really exquisite and upscale when it was good but just something simpler. We got some fish tacos as well as some buffalo chicken tenders. The buffalo chicken tenders were supposedly some ancho chili something or other, but they were ultimately just buffalo chicken tenders. They were good, don't get me wrong, but the flavor was just your classic buffalo sauce. The fish tacos were solid, lot of fish, but just ok on flavor. I would get it again, but I think i would just go in with a little more tempered expectations read more

my friend who lives locally in seaside hyped up these fish tacos as the best in town and she wasn't wrong. they are filling, tasty, manageable to eat and with noticeably high quality fish and other ingredients. why go all over the place when you come for a visit in search of the holy grail when you can have a friend cut to the chase and take you right to the source of your gastronomic pleasure? the fact this food truck is situated at dust bowl brewery on the water in monterey only heightens the satisfaction because you're able to get your brew fix and hunger pangs dealt with all at the same time. perusing their menu makes me want to try other things, especially the eggplant sandwich! price point, service and friendly interaction with staff all make this a place to try when anywhere in the vicinity. it did not disappoint! read more

Unfortunately it was bland, straight avocado with no sign of any spices, chile, onion, etc. and portion size was smaller in comparison with the amount of chips given. I even tried to add their spicy green salsa and lime wedge from my taco to it and those items couldn't even help the flavor profile. Chips were warm, but also lacked flavor, like salt as well. Decor was interesting and eclectic because it seemed they took over a previous asian restaurant and have not quite finished renovating or they are just choosing to keep that decor up. Service was good since we ordered to go. If I'm ever in the area again, willing to try other items and give this place another shot like the birria or something.
