Elote corn taco and baja fish taco
    Sara P.

Great food truck tacos. Would have liked to try the nachos and the wagu burger, but we only were visiting for a short time. I tried the fish taco and the corn elote taco. Both were delicious, but I preferred the fish. The food truck is located outside Dustbowl Brewing. Plenty of outside seating.

Two Baja fish tacos , 1 carnitas taco .

Very good . I can't hate . The tacos de pescado (Baja fish ) were legit , capturing the true to form style of Rosarito fish tacos which is , corn not flour tortilla , pico de gallo , salsa and crema . Good size , and the carnitas was good . Would do again next time at dust bowl brewery .

One of the Best Tacos in Monterey when we came here! We were not disappointed. It's hard to find that authentic flavor in tacos and we were impressed! Highly recommend!!!

My friend recommend this place to us and it didn't disappoint! I love the simple menu and the fresh ingredients. The food was really tasty and the people were super friendly. They had a ceviche special that day and it was really good. It's parked in the patio of a brewery so it pairs well with the drinks there. Very chill vibes and good food. This patio is also dog friendly as well! Definitely a must visit when you're in town!

We had lunch at Wedo's while at Dust Bowl Brewing Co. The service was fine, outdoor seating area was huge, but the food was disappointing. Normally I love taco trucks but after this, I just felt like I wished we had stopped somewhere else. I shared the carnitas nachos with my husband. The carnitas was actually just pulled pork, there was no crisp to the meat at all and the cheese sauce was bland. I tried a bite of the Smashburger, it was fine, nothing special. The saving grace was the chicken quesadilla which was pretty good, especially with the sauce, which tasted like a creamy avocado sauce. Overall though, I would not choose to eat here again.

We ordered fries and pretzel. Fries were good and fresh. Pretzel was not fresh. It was hard and veryyy hard to break. We picked up our order as soon as we picked it up! Pass on this unless it's fresh. Wow maybe ask? If you can.....

    Micheledos and delicious tacos.

Stopped at the Dust Bowl for a beer and they recommended this awesome food truck. Best tacos ever! My husband got the chicken taco and I had the carnitas taco. The carnitas was so delicious. I wish I would have ordered two. Service was very friendly. Will definitely go back when we are in Monterey again.

I was quite impressed with all of the food. Fish Taco: good flavor all around. Well fried. The best part was the tortilla. Do they make them in the truck? They are REALLY good. Fired Zucchini: Our favorite of the day. I can't really say why, but they were really good. Pulled Pork Sandwich: all around solid. Not too dry Fries: Good and crispy. I was sad they were out of all their chicken stuff. My daughter really would have liked to have chicken tenders (although she still seemed to enjoy her carnitas taco) and I would have loved to try the spicy chicken sandwich. I'm usually very underwhelmed by food trucks - but this one hit the mark!

This location is tied into Dust Bowl Brewing. Came in with some friends for a late afternoon drink and was able to find a seat outside... it is nice that they have heaters as it got cooler as it got later. We ordered the fish tacos and the nachos. Both were so good and fresh... I wish they gave a little more sauce with the tacos, but they were good. Service can be a little spotty if you are outside, but ours was on point. Being outside and next to the wharf make for a pleasurable experience.

    Slimy and gross.

Used to hit them when I was at Dust Bowl, not sure what happened, this taco was a nasty hunk of grease and the service was pretty rude to top it off. I'll make sure I eat first before coming to the least of the 3 taprooms in downtown Monteray.

You can tell it's been a local favorite for decades--the hand-scrawled signs and slogans everywhere give it so much character. They've been around for 40 years! The Blackened Chicken sandwich is what they're famous for, and it lives up to the hype as I've been ordering it since middle school. It's got a solid kick, and that buttermilk garlic dressing they use is addictive. If you're leaning more toward the taqueria side, the Blackened Shrimp Tacos and the Steak Fajitas are the move. I also get the House Burrito a lot as it's one of their famous specialties. Everything feels fresh and grilled, not greasy, which is a nice change of pace. The service is fast and friendly and the portions are huge for the price. It's a small, no-frills spot inside, but they have plenty of seating and a steady stream of locals picking up takeout which is always a good sign. Every meal comes with chips and salsa! Pro tip: They're closed on Sundays, so make sure you get your fix during the week. Definitely the best spot in PG for a quick, high-quality lunch that won't break the bank.

The food was okay. We were going more for some casual quick eats, so I ordered an al pastor taco and guacamole and chips. Al pastor is my preferred choice of meat so when the staff member also recommended the al pastor, I was totally looking forward to it. However it was a good 3.5 in flavor, contains pineapple, but they were definitely marinated with canned pineapple pieces. The cook and char on the pork was okay, it was tasty, but I've definitely had my share of fantastic tacos having lived in San Diego and Los Angeles. I really expected more from the guacamole because typically it's not that hard to mess up. Unfortunately it was bland, straight avocado with no sign of any spices, chile, onion, etc. and portion size was smaller in comparison with the amount of chips given. I even tried to add their spicy green salsa and lime wedge from my taco to it and those items couldn't even help the flavor profile. Chips were warm, but also lacked flavor, like salt as well. Decor was interesting and eclectic because it seemed they took over a previous asian restaurant and have not quite finished renovating or they are just choosing to keep that decor up. Service was good since we ordered to go. If I'm ever in the area again, willing to try other items and give this place another shot like the birria or something.
