I never write bad reviews but if I could give 0 stars I would, because we basically didn't receive any positive services. We were in town a few days ago for an event with some friends and ordered our food at the window. They gave us a pager/buzzer to call us when our food was ready. It never went off and I confirmed with all our friends at the table they never heard it either. After about 35 minutes my husband went back up the window to follow up on our order and the guy at the window said the buzzer went off and our food had been sitting in there inside the truck for awhile. My husband said it never went off. The guy said he would have to remake it since it was cold. He left the window, came back and handed my husband cash. My husband asked kindly if he was going to re make it and the guy proceeded to tell us he needed to get back in line to re order in order for him to re make it and there were easily about 10+ people in line waiting to order! You would think it would be a quick fix to apologize for not reaching out about our order and listening to a customer when we say we did not hear the buzzer go off, and then remaking the food without telling the customer to get back in line. To make matters worse, after we left (since we did NOT bother to re-order), he did not give my husband back the correct amount of money we originally paid when we first ordered. We had lunch at Wedo's while at Dust Bowl Brewing Co. The service was fine, outdoor seating area was huge, but the food was disappointing. Normally I love taco trucks but after this, I just felt like I wished we had stopped somewhere else. I shared the carnitas nachos with my husband. The carnitas was actually just pulled pork, there was no crisp to the meat at all and the cheese sauce was bland. I tried a bite of the Smashburger, it was fine, nothing special. The saving grace was the chicken quesadilla which was pretty good, especially with the sauce, which tasted like a creamy avocado sauce. The posted menu is haggard and barely readable. Finally, when you're serving messy food, dripping with salsa and too much crema, some extra napkins and a fork might be helpful. My wife and I have been riding bikes to here once every 4 to 5 weeks for over 3 years. We have always taken our food and sit by the harbour to eat. Months ago they stopped providing to go containers. 4 weeks ago they gave me aluminum foil to cover the food. Today they had none. It was taken, but they kept talking. Finally after a few seconds one of them told the others I needed serving. We Definitely will not be back. Came in with some friends for a late afternoon drink and was able to find a seat outside... it is nice that they have heaters as it got cooler as it got later. We ordered the fish tacos and the nachos. Both were so good and fresh... I wish they gave a little more sauce with the tacos, but they were good.
