It's no exaggeration to say that we couldn't have had our wedding without Wendy. Our wedding required a ton of extra logistics since it was a backyard and destination wedding, plus I was finishing law school and studying for the Bar (which I took 10 days before our wedding), and my husband was in his first year of residency working crazy hours. We really wanted to have our wedding at my family home out in Puget Sound, but it was a daunting prospect. After I spoke with Wendy, my whole attitude changed, and I felt totally confident that we could pull it off. And she absolutely did pull it off. We worked really hard together leading up to the wedding, but Wendy handled all the logistics, and on the wedding day I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Having everything taken care of allowed me to be relaxed and completely enjoy the day, and I think it put our guests at ease to know that we were not stressed out. (She also took everything completely off my plate right before the Bar and wouldn't let me do anything, it was a huge help.) One example of how Wendy is 100% there for you is my rehearsal dinner. We hadn't hired her to coordinate that, but she ended up basically doing the whole thing. She found us the caterer, the DJ, and the linens, and she and her husband put together all the centerpieces for us, set up all the tables and food, were there all night, and cleaned up afterward. She cares so deeply about each of her couples, and she really just wants it to be an amazing experience for you, which it absolutely was. We hit the jackpot by booking Wendy for our wedding! Wendy helped us with our venue search and was our day of coordinator, and we could not imagine our wedding without her! She coordinated 8-10 site visits until we found the perfect venue for our day - so many guests, both local and out-of-towners, commented on how amazing our venue was and we may not have considered it without Wendy's recommendation! Wendy kept us on track over our year of planning with a detailed checklist, vendor recommendations, and unlimited emails and phone calls - a necessity for two lifelong procrastinators planning a wedding! My husband and I had our October 2017 wedding planned by Wendy. We cannot recommend Wendy enough. We both work long hours and have no extended family to help and we realized as we started the wedding planning process that we were out of our depth. We can say without a doubt that without Wendy we would have not had a wedding and would have been lucky to make it to the courthouse. Wendy is a pro: she is organized, goes over every detail with you ahead of booking venues, her contacts/vendors are impeccable. She listened to what we both wanted and directed us to options that were appropriate for our preferences and budget. While I wanted to marry my husband and celebrate our union, I was not excited about being a traditional bride. Buying the dress in particular was a source of anxiety and having no female members in my family made it a daunting prospect. Wendy made the whole process much more pleasant than it would have been as she knows all of the owners and many of the stylists/workers at the bridal boutiques and took me to over 4 places in a day.
