Dylan was one of my favorite vendors to work with when planning my wedding - incredibly kind and always quick with responses to my numerous questions! He was also very open with availability for calls anytime which I really appreciated during a busy workweek. During our wedding day, he and his partner were great working with my photographer and felt like they were new friends with how kind and fun they were during the whole process. Most importantly, we have stunning videos from our best day ever that we can watch anytime (let's just say the actual day was a bit of a blur!) and since we had a very small wedding due to Covid, this was a wonderful way to share our celebration with friends & family who couldn't be there in person. Dylan is great! He was able to accommodate our needs when figuring out how to do our video. He initially laid out some options but he was flexible and very willing and able to do what we wanted outside of those options. Our wedding was a covid 2020 wedding with a lot of restrictions but Dylan was ready and available and did an awesome job on site. I'm not really a people person, but he was so easy to work with and very comfortable to be around. I was worried that having a photographer and videographer would in some way stick out during the ceremony, but I didn't even notice Dylan hard at work. He did a phenomenal job and I'm so pleased with the outcome of our video. I was originally thinking that we didn't need to do a video because we were streaming it and recording the stream, but I'm so glad we had Dylan do our video. Our stream video ended up being choppy... and apart from that... Dylan's edited video just looks a million times better infused with artistic taste... it will be a memory... a beautifully edited memory we can keep forever. If I learned anything... if you think you don't need a videographer because you're stream recording your wedding... you still need a videographer. I highly recommend his services. A concern I had about a video camera being at my wedding is that it's just too much. Not the case with Dani. She's like a chameleon. Dani was great!! I did a lot of research on videographers and watched a lot of different video portfolios. Dani's style was perfect for our wedding and her videos always so touching and sweet. She used drones to capture aerial views of our venue and it turned out beautifully. We also got a video selfie stick which our guests had a blast with during reception. I'm excited to see how it turns out in our DVDs! The only thing I would change is the size of the microphone on the groom during the first look. It was on the bigger side and clipped on the front of his tux. It showed up on some of our pictures, but it's okay, the moment was still beautiful. :) The highlight video was so sweet and captured our nerdy wedding perfectly! My husband shared it on Facebook as soon as we got it. If you're having a wedding, I highly recommend getting a videographer. I almost decided not too, but I'm glad that we went with it in the end! My husband was skeptical about hiring a videographer for our August 2021 wedding because he gets awkward when cameras are around but Dylan assured us that his team is great at being a fly on the wall and leaving you to enjoy your day while they capture it. He couldn't have delivered any better on that promise. We never felt cornered or disrupted even in a backyard wedding where they didn't have a lot of places to hide. We purchased the live stream option for my grandparents, who couldn't attend, to be able to see the ceremony and it was a wonderful addition and awesome that we didn't have to think at all about someone streaming on their phone or something. Dylan was so kind and accommodating, even making some changes for me after he finished our videos! He worked well with our photographer with a fly-on-the-wall approach, which helped us to relax and be ourselves. I spent many hours sifting through what felt like infinite videographers, and Pixel Dust had the perfect balance of quality and affordability for us. Unlike other companies, he included full ceremony footage in our package, which was vital since we had a COVID elopement but wanted to share the whole ceremony with our families! Other places charge high premiums and/or require a second videographer for this. He did it by himself by setting up a second static camera! He even put music to our first dance film because the live violin music sounded a bit weird on the original. Dani was absolutely amazing. My husband and I could not be any happier with the outcome of the wedding videos Dani created for us. Since our first emails exchanged with each other, Dani has been nothing short of incredibly helpful. She helped us make sure we had a wedding videographer package that was both what we wanted and the right budget for us. As a same sex couple as well, Dani has made us feel nothing but absolutely comfortable the entire way through. Since I was coordinating our own wedding too, Dani was so helpful in offering to show up to our rehearsal dinner to give us some pointers on blocking and the choreography of it all! Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts we weren't able to do this, but it was very nice of her to offer to do so! On the day of, she worked great together with our photographer to capture all the wonderful moments. Since we booked her for a shorter time period, she even reminded us that we still needed to do our first dance so she could capture that too! We didn't have to wait too long for our video since we got married pretty early in the season, and she captured our wedding so beautifully. We were amazed by the how great she made everything look, and so happy with the wonderful music selection she chose to go with it. Another great note, when we showed this video to our family and friends, they didn't even know that we had a videographer there (let alone that there were two of them)! Dani was so great in capturing the moments naturally that she blended right in with our crowd! With how expensive weddings could get, we originally weren't sure whether we wanted to have a videographer there, give cameras to multiple people to capture the moments, or just go without it all together. We used Pixel Dust to video our Calistoga wedding 3 weeks ago and couldn't have been happier with Dani! The pixel dust team came through tremendously when we were struggling to find a videographer team for our wedding in September. Not only did they fulfill all my requests but they put in a lot of time and effort prior to the wedding to make sure the videos were made how we wanted them. Dani is absolutely a fantastic person to work with. After going through a long list of vendors on website, we decided to reach out to a few of them, and Dani was on the top of that list. I scheduled a call with Dani, and didn't even look further after the call. I was totally convinced by her passion and outgoing character. She arrived early at the venue for our prep meeting. Besides making sure the timeline was clear, she also asked us many questions about how we'd like to present some details during the wedding. On our wedding day, I have to say that I barely saw her and her assistant, but I knew they were there to capture the most precious time of my life. After the weeding, we trust Dani's professionalism so we just let her decide everything about the movie. The final delivery was digital, through a website link, you can also download the movies from that website. The 7-min highlight movie was GREAT, it captures every moment that we love, and music was absolutely beautiful. The 30-min wedding movie is separated into different sections and easy to navigate.
